The title means long time no see wei hao.. hahah for those who do not know, wei hao is my old schoolmate and my patrol leader when I was a scout in form 4 & 5. And after that we were college mates ;p and during my SAM time I got close to mich who was close to wei hao as they were former classmates… aiya lazy to explain the connection, cause it made me realize that I didn’t explain my connection with chi ming? Hahah well chi ming was wei hao’s classmate in A levels. And we used to lunch together every Tuesday? Well almost every Tuesday..

Okay.. back to the title… well it’s already the next day because it’s pass 12am, so yesterday, (at bout 6pm) Ai kun, mich, and I went to BU to meet up with Chi Ming and Wei Hao. We reached about 6 something la (mich’s dad sent us there) and when we got there we decided to visit the rock climbing gym there, and surprise, surprise, guess who I met!!??

Liew Wil-liam!! He’s working there now. (He used to work at the summit, and introduced rock climbing to me) Ermm, for those who don’t know, William was in the same chemistry and add maths tution as huey, gene and I, that’s how I knew him. Then 2 years back.. I think it was that long, well I brought mich, yoon wei/Andrew (mich’s ex), xian ai and nick leong rock climbing at summit, where William was working then. So they also now him la.

So, we spent almost and hour at the rock climbing gym, inquiring, cause we wanted to bring the SC there for activities.. Not cheap man the place. Speaking of which I left my brochure at genki sushi.. alamak. Luckily Ai kun has one too. William later gave us a tour of the place and we set of to the said genki sushi for dinner.

Wow, we can really eat. We ordered a tray of sushi which cost 65 and chi ming, wei hao and I ordered like other kinds of food, I ordered unagi don (15.80) as usual, wei hao curry katsu don and chi ming some kind of ramen la hahah.. After that as usual when at things like this I usually count the bill, but today I was exceptionally blur, so chi ming terpaksa count la hahah..

After that chat, chat, chat. Take pictures, then we left genki sushi, counted the bill outside it like we were doing some illegal business, (look like err.. well asking for hooker, who was the hooker don’t know la chicken or duck muahahhahah.. okay, way past my bed time liao hahaha) then on the spot decided to watch fearless. Haha I can’t believe it, it starts at 8.50 and we bought our tickets at 8.50 hahaha, and we had no tickets, and we got the best seats in the house.. but we made it in time due to the advertisements, we even managed to run to the loo and back..

Well we watched, fearless, and well, it was quite okay I would say, though the middle was kind of boring for me. almost fell aslweep. And well the beginning kind of liked spoilt my reputation for jet li, as I was used as seeing him as wong fei hung, but in the end he became the character that he usually acts la, the good one. Hahha

And later after that we went home, Ai kun’s dad was at BU also so we all piled up in the car except chi ming, and went for a short joyride and then home. Oh I got fullmoon wo sagashite (49) hehe shall watch asap..

Alrighty then, now I am in a conversation with the 4 people I just had dinner with, feeding mosquitoes, and it’s kind of hard to blog too hahaha, so I shall just end here.

There will be no updates for the next week as it’s Chinese New Year and I won’t be around. But I will try to keep a journal hahha..

the title means, long time no see chi ming..

he has already taggeed that he would b in taylor's and he was, yesterday we met up and makan... hahah all the old friends from taman sea kept asking him how was wei hao. hahah must be a tad irritating, no?

so.... we had macdonald's and chatted during my hour and a half break, all sorts of rubbish la as usual, as mel and Ai kun were with me so all four of us chat la, then it was also laura's (my classmate from the 1st cohort) birthday, and they celebrated it there so, we just sang the birthday song along with the rest of the other classmates who were sitting behind us, and then headed for class..

oh going home yesterday was a joyride.. literally. let's see.. the putraline was no where in sight since 2.35 according to our witness, terence, and we waited until 3.30, still with no sight of the bus.. and apparently there is a bus that heads over to the asia jaya lrt station, and we were like "ok if that comes along we will take that", so the 5 of us (me, ai kun, mel, terence, and chi ming, we met him at the bus stop) waited and waited and waited.. till a metrobus came saying that it goes to asia jaya.. well the bus can't talk mind you it was the conductor..

so we got on teh bus, and then.... *drum roll* we saw the putraline passing by on the other road.. so why spen more to get home when 50sen will do? we decided to get off..merl and i succeeded at jumping off before the bus falsely imprisoned the other 3... and well, it was another waiting game for mel and i as we waited for the putraline to reach the bus stop.. but in the end we took a mini bus to asia jaya. that bus driver was a bit nuts, or it was his stops, he went out of subang, onto the ldp and back into it again, then out again, and onto the ldp again, and then only the federal.. wah!! plus the waiting.. it took me 2 hours to get home..

lucky i had company, in the form of mel, and well ai kun's imoto (younger sister), xian ching. after that it was the lrt back and luckily mel's mum didn't mind sending me back, i was too tired to walk by then, and it looked like rain. when ig ot home i brought the dog for his walk but it rained, so i ran back with him to the house, and slept till dinner time...

prepared for land tutorial and that was the end of my day..

oh, i forgot to mention, on the 24th a tuesday, i got my retainers already, kinda hurts when i wear it, especially the molars, but i am supposed to get used to it.. i feel like vomitting when i wear it as i presses on my tounge, but today it's better, though when i talk i sound like a toothless old lady... *sob* and eugene keeps calling me a "vainpot" haha which i replied, " i am a girl i can't help being vain.. hahha" anyway the retainers are for life, as those who have worn will know. but for the 1st year i am required to wear them 24/7 then only at night.. unfair.. you guys wore it for only 6months...

what else, ah, today i went to renew my driving license with Ai kun, we went to taman jaya lrt station and walked.. was very fasr, maybe cause there weren't many people as it was before lunch hour, bout 12pm like that.. in about 15-20 minutes we were out of there and headed home.. arigatou ai kun for accompanying me, and err.. hearing me complain yet again about may suan hahha...

so anyway after that came home, and am here now typing this... going off line to nap now actually it's 3.20 liao i have piano class later...

i found my thing to change the time and date .. baka really hahahha...

ray kun is trying to be mean... but err... well i am a mean person myself muahahha so err.. should i encourage him or "say shame on you!"? haha shiran i shall just leave it and see la...

ray kun you can't beat me, i have been mean longer than you. muahahahha... it's no fun being mean actually .... :p

The title just means happy birthday Melissa, cause it’s her birthday today. Well you must be thinking what’s with the “ri” instead of the “li” well, the Japanese have no “L” you see, hence they use the “R” in place of it. Cause what they want is the sound.

Anyway, I seem to overuse that word, but ah what the heck, anyway hahaha, mel had a party last night at her house. It was quite a nice party, the food was great, she catered from a place called Banana café heheh, and well actually I was kind of tired, cause the night before was Huey’s early Birthday dinner, I had sake (rice wine) remember? And to counter that I drank a lot of ocha (green tea), resulting in a sleepless night for me, only managed to fall into a light sleep at about 3/4am? And at 7.30am that Meng called me, and as I said light sleep, I woke up. There was a scouter workshop on Saturday you see, and he was going, so he called to confirm details. So I asked him to call Ai kun.

After that, I tried to go back to sleep but that stupid fella SMS me.. arghh mattaku, and after that, at 8.30am I had to go collect the nasi lemak which was the lunch of the scouters attending the workshop. Then at 9.30 I had to go to school with the nasi lemak. (How to sleep??!! You guys know la, my condition when I have not enough sleep…)

Well, managed to read a little land law in school, under the tree on the terrace, (nice place to read, quiet and the breeze was cool) before that we played the trust game with the other scouters. (The game involves you falling backward, and you have to trust the group of people who are catching you, or you won’t dare to fall) I didn’t do any falling (when I was a scout I had to fall from a higher level… we had to squat to catch this round, mine was where my catcher’s were standing up… that’s more scarier than theirs hahhaha) but catching, and one of the girls, fell the wrong way, resulting in her shoulder blades hitting my arms, causing my bones to hurt like hell, so I retired hahha, too old liao.. Anyway I was ill for a month and hardly drank milk as I liked cold fresh/plain milk remember..

Later, when the workshop was over, we ate nasi lemak and had a meeting, (in the end Kean Sheng didn’t show up, even though I missed call him and he called me back, and we talked for more than 20 minutes, I’m sure his phone bill is in a dire state.. but I said I won’t force him, it was up to him, whether he wanted to come a not. His reason for joining SC? “I want to feel like I belong somewhere, and that I am somebody” or something like that, then why won’t he come for meetings? God knows…I feel the same too, so i make it a point to go when i can... though i sort of get where he is coming from.. but for God's sake... things don't always go falling in our lap when we want to.. if after you have tried like me, and nothing goes your way.. then ya... i see where he is coming from.. totally...)

Then Ai kun and I went to my house. We thought that I would bath then go to her house and make apple pie, but my parents wanted to play golf, so I took my stuff to her house to bath. But first at her house, I uploaded the pictures from my camera into a CD-RW haven’t check whether the pictures are in, so I haven’t cleared my camera. And we chit chatted, went online, etc. baked and had some apple pie, painted our nails, then went for Mel’s party.

Actually I was kind of tired, as you can read from above, not enough sleep and doing stuff like that, I had no nap. The truth was we thought that we would leave early, to sleep, as we were both very tired. But mel had long lost entertaining cousins who did some magic tricks for us. (Oh mel also brought out some wine, and as you guys know I go red very easily, but I need at least half the bottle to get me a little woozy..) Hahha I guessed that they were quite frustrated, I read their moves hahha though I am not entirely sure how they do the tricks, and I can only speculate, but it was quite fun la. I love magic tricks, especially the part where I try to figure out how they do the tricks. Andrew (19, Ai kun’s and my main entertainer) showed me quite a bunch of tricks, and was quite flustered when I guessed the outcome almost all correctly. (Come on man, if it’s a two-coin trick, even though you said you put one in your pocket there’s still two in your hand. Hahha it’s logic, and you had another coin with you)

She had another two cousins yew win (19 same age, don’t know whether I spelt correctly) that did a trick, which I can guess, how he did it. Then there’s Quincy (15, doesn’t watch bleach, in fact has no idea what I was talking about when I asked him) he taught Ai kun and I how to flip cards. But anyway they said we were harder to entertain cause we were smarter!!?? (What??! We laughed a lot wert, we were so entertained man… Well I guess I read too much detective stories, murders in locked rooms are like a magic trick too, yew win called me sceptical.. I wasn’t I was just trying to guess how they did it and the outcome of their tricks). So in the end we left mel’s house a little before 11, then Ai kun sent me home. And I hit the sack hahah.. The long awaited sleep..

And today morning, Huey chan sms me asking me to go rock climbing at BU.. sob~ I would REALLY REALLY LOVE to, but I have work to do, as I have company tutorial tomorrow… sob sob~ so I told her the week after next or something la. Anyway that’s what has happened until now. And actually I had to retype a quarter of this post, because my com hanged, thanks to my MSN and smart me didn’t save.. So posting now.

Oh yes, I have been receiving quite a lot of complains about my blog, saying that the white background with black words makes it too hard to read, and that it hurts the eyes. Well, errr people I am kind of like “what the heck??!!” cause when you use Microsoft words or surf the net, it’s all white backgrounds with black words, I don’t see you complaining about that… but still, I shall CONSIDER changing the background, and since you guys are the one that’s complaining muahahha, you shall have to find the hex values for me to change. Just make sure that the black words still can be seen on that kind of coloured background as I am too lazy to look through the whole html codes for the colour of the words, you can send the hex value for the words too if you want. And we will see, if I receive no hex values, then LIVE WITH IT PEOPLE…. White stays muahahhahah.. white = pure… muahahhahha… Shiro wa daisuki!! Blek ;p (I love white!!)

Sake just means wine.. You know, the rice wine that the Japanese drink. Anyway the reason for this post is that just a few hours ago (1 Gatsu 20 Nichi 2006 Nen. Kinyobi) we, meaning me, Huey, Gene and Meng, celebrated Huey’s birthday. Her birthday is actually on the 28th but she might want to celebrate with her family so, we decided to celebrate it just now. Tonikaku, otanjoubi omedeto Huey chan!! (Anyway happy birthday Huey)

We went to the Japanese restaurant near Atria, the one nesan took me and Meng to eat a few years back.. It’s called Omitsu something hahah, been there a few times, but still can’t remember the name hahah..

Anyway I had unagi bento there, I also had fun, and I guess Huey n Meng had too? Gene was like in outer space half the time, subconsciously wiping the table for the restaurant with his tissue, and the funny thing was that Meng subconsciously followed him to wipe the table too hahaha. Oh, Meng ordered sake, hence the title, he ordered the big one, and as Gene and Meng are driving, and as Meng doesn’t know his alcohol limit, he dared not drink too much, what the heck man, I was like drinking half the bottle liao (lucky it was only 15% plus plus alcohol, I can still manage).. So we chatted, and it was quite fun. After dinner we went to gene’s house to hang out, as Meng needed to talk to his parents bout his future prospects now that his A level’s results are out, he went home first.

Anyway we chatted with Gene’s mum and brother for about an hour and a half, his mum seems happy to see me and Huey, and she even gave us 3 papayas each.. hahah arigatou Kenji no okasan. And apparently, Gene’s bro is a bit weird today, gene said that usually his brother won’t be caught dead in his PJs and yet he was sitting there in his pajamas chatting with us. Hahah his brother like actually quite nice to talk to this round. Usually when I go over the brother just ignore wan lor, go into his room play computer or something. But anyway I had a fun chat. Then at about 11.30 Huey aka Cinderella kekekke (her curfew is 12, mine has been stretched to 12.30 kekekek) Gene had to send her home.

After that as I didn’t want to go home so early, we thought that we would yum cha at SS2 there, mana tau no parking so we went to nearby my house i.e. Ming Tien, and I had watermelon juice while Gene had hot tea. But he said that there were stuff in his tea so he didn’t want to drink it, as he was coughing I couldn’t share my juice hahah so like that lor.

Oh yes, guess whom I met at Ming Tien, Kean Sheng, (unbelievable right??) He was with another guy, (his cousin) and apparently that stupid boy didn’t receive my SMS about SC meeting today at 12.30pm. So anyway we chatted a bit then I asked him why he join SC if he has no intention to go for meetings? And he just mumbled something I couldn’t hear. And said that he didn’t like the politics, hell like I do, but I still help out!! Anyway he asked me to call him tomorrow, or more like miss call him as I said that I had no credit. It’s common courtesy to call people yourself and inform whether you are coming for the meeting you know… Sigh, no comment on that guy….

I mean don’t reply people’s call and SMSes and all, and well a bunch of other things la, he’s also very the misleading. He at first seemed to want to join Taylor’s SAM, then his parents don’t let, when I suggested he go to Sunway he kept mentioning, Taylor’s like he really wants to go there, why? God knows. Then he joined SC, he actually don’t need to join lor, as in school he was a prefect so he doesn’t need a unit beruniform, and in actual fact he doesn’t come for meetings unless I call him to.
What is this man? If you really like scouts, then people don’t need to call you. Then in last year’s campfire, he placed himself in the Decoration Derpartment, the department that I was overseeing, I at first thought that he would stick to Yoong Xiong, (Who was in pioneering?) But, no, he came to my department and just sat around. (Apparently he was there to buy supplies if they needed it as he has a car, but when I needed him he was no where to be found, never answer and recall my calls until I got so fed up with him) In form 5 also he joined the department, (I was the assistant head of the decoration department that time) god knows for what.
If you asked me, what would I think? I think that you can guess… Anyway I don’t want to think too much? Wasting time, such a misleadingng/confusing guy….

I almost forgot but seeing that guy reminded me that I need to wake up at 8.30 later to collect the nasi lemak which would be the lunch of the Scouters going for the 8 hour course later. Cause I wanted him to go to SC for transport ma, as I had none. My license expired liao 2hours ago, (it’s now 2am, so my license expires on the 20th) so anyway don’t know la. If he goes, he goes la. And that guy went and coloured his hair…not a bad colour, but don’t know whether it suits him or not, the lighting at Ming Tien wasn’t exactly superb hahha oh ya haahha guess he’s been dying to do that? Hahah cause in form 6 he still had to follow school rules.

Ohya in the afternoon I went for a job interview with Ai kun, at dataran prima. Its kind of like free lancing work, like promoter kind of work (to be a flowerpot/model you need to be at least 170cm tall, I am only like what 163?) anyway, so if there’s like jobs they will inform us, and we will see if we are free then we will go la. You know jobs like handing out flyers, talking to people about the products etc. anyway the interview was quite fun, as the interviewer was quite a friendly guy lor, and well Ai kun and I like cracked a few jokes hahaha…

So ok that’s all for now, I have to wake up early to collect the nasi lemak, and the BLOODY MOSQUITOES, keep sucking my blood… my dry skin has already been making me scratch.. Now added mosquito bite mattaku.. tonikaku, oyasuminasai minna san. Matta ne.

Ureshi just means happiness. Another word for happiness is “shiawase”. (which has been explained before, but I forgot which post) Why am I happy? Haha cause on the 17th of January 2006 I finally had my braces removed!! After FOUR bloody years!! All the suffering and the pain, it’s all gone haha, well on the 24th of January I have to go back for the retainers, but I don’t care at least it’s removable haha. And no more hassle when eating!!

Though after four years I am not really used to the sensation of not having the braces, my mouth feels funny. Anyway, thanks to my current doctor it’s off, she’s a rally nice doctor. Patient and gentle. She will answer all my enquires whenever she can. And she always explains the procedures and stuff without me asking, so she makes me feel more comfortable and I let her do whatever she wants. (hence faster treatment) Compared to the old doctor, Dr Kathi. That guy…. Eissh don’t want to say after I get sued. Although it’s true, but it’s a hassle to go to court because of a defamation suit. And a hassle to find evidence and witnesses.. Waste of time and money. Anyway, this doctor, Dr Fatimah. Is nice la.

Hmm! What else to say? Ohya, I actually wanted to type up a post entitled, shinjirarenai demo honto da, which means, I don’t believe it, but it’s the truth. Well the reason for that was I wanted to write about my weird relationship with Meng. Well, don’t get me wrong what we have is just friendship, but we’ve known each other for like this… is the 8th year? Haha been close for 3years, counting form one.. Anyway our weird relationship.

Guess he and I are just weird people. We like to pull each other’s leg you see. So the funny thing is, when he pulls my leg i.e. he’s bluffing I believe him fully, when he’s telling me the truth it’s almost 100% that I won’t believe him, and vice versa. You may be thinking, why suddenly only she thought of this.. Well because the other day I called him about scouter stuff and whether he wanted to go out to celebrate Huey’s birthday this Friday night (20th January 2006) and I asked him, so how are things with Jo, any improvements? Then he said yes. I guess you understand? (Hahah well, I was asking whether he and her are a couple, and he said yes. Well although the sentence doesn’t look that way, it means that. Back to the topic.)

I didn’t believe him, and he kept insisting it was true, so in the end I said, well I guess it’s true cause.. Well, I don’t’ believe you.. hahah.. Anyway, this is kind of lame, and only he and I will most likely get the joke, but as this blog is meant for myself so I thought that I would just type it down. Hahhah

So anyway tomorrow, which is the 19th, my cousin yen ling’s birthday, we (Meng and I) are going out to get Huey another present hahah, we actually bought one on the day I went out to buy Mel’s and Mich, (it’s posted already…) but come to think of it, we didn’t like our choice, so see la, if he remembers to call me by 9am tomorrow, then we will go shopping again la… and if he brings Jo, so as not to be a lamp post, I will drag Ai kun along hehehe she’s so nice, she agreed to be dragged along when needed. Arigatou Ai kun.

Ermmm… nothing else to type? Oh yes, I finished watching Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. Finally, for 9 or was it 8 discs? It took me more than a week? Well a week and a day to finish, (I bought it on the 11th remember?) for those who know my anime habits you guys must be like “wah!! So slow” anyway, I finished it. Gene wants to borrow it. Hope I remember to pass to him hahah.

The anime was quite ok la, as I’ve read the manga so I found it ok? Anyway the first few episodes are boring, cause its like the manga, although a bit different. Slight difference only. But one has to be patient, as you go on, it gets more interesting, may be it’s due to the fact that I have only read the manga till the second book, but after that I was like, Fai wa kakoi. Kuro rin mo hahha.. Syaoron wa kakoi.. I was like wah not bad la the fight scenes and all. The soundtrack was also nice, there was only one song I didn’t like, it started with a saxophone, either than that I loved all the songs. The storyline gets better along the way, and there are a lot of surprising things!! READ SPOILER!! The next paragraph is a spoiler so if you don’t want to read it just skip. It’s only one paragraph to skip.. hahha knowing Gene he sure will read wan hahha

Syaoran in Tsubasa is actually blind in the right eye, he wears a glass eye, I was quite surprised about that fact. And also, there’s another Syaoran. This Syaoran hasn’t made his debut, but we had glimpses of him in the end, and this one doesn’t have a left eye. Haha the mystery behind the Syaoran in Tsubasa. Leaves me tingling, as I love mysteries. But I will have to wait for the 2nd season to find out what happens next. Fai is so damn cool when he’s serious, and there was a point when Fai died, I was like “what??!! No way!!” but in actual fact he wasn’t. Haha seems like they got themselves in a RPG game, except this one is much better than Hack Sign. I suspected that they were in a Virtual world. Just look at the receptionist, so game like.

Actually the storyline for this is quite similar to Cardcaptor Sakura, only that instead of collecting cards by her own, she is collecting feathers with 3 companions. And Sakura seems really quite useless here, but she’s trying her best to not be in the way. The characteristic of the original Syaoran and Sakura that we know are still there, but they are “the same and different” as Yuuko would say. And well lots of Clamp X characters like Arashi and Sorata made their debut twice. There were others, which looked familiar but I forgot their names. They are from Clamp X though. All in all, actually to be honest, so far I prefer Cardcaptor Sakura to Tsubasa, but Tsubasa makes for a good watch for me too. Maybe the second season will be better? It sure looks like the prospects will be good for the 2nd season, when they come out with it. THEY HAD BETTER!! So crappy to be left hanging..

So anyway, that’s all for now, have to look for cases for E&T tutorial next week, the only problem is that Mel is holding the paper which contains my Athens ID and Password. I remember the password but the ID….

Doyobi 1 Gatsu 14 Nichi

Ittai means “pain” it’s also used in place of “ouch”. The reason for this title is because I am in pain. My wisdom tooth on my lower left jaw is causing me much pain. My wisdom tooth which is about a quarter out, (you can see the enamel but the rest is covered by the gum) is surrounded by the gum around the tooth that is swollen, to the point that I was biting on it 5days ago, and yesterday and today the pain was really killing. 3 days ago it wasn’t this painful. Anyway the pain extended from my throat to my ears, (the pain really spreads man) that opening my mouth wide enough to take a bite of bread hurts like hell. So I finally decided to take a look at the tooth today. The gum around it is not only swollen but also CRACKED!! Thus explaining my excruciating pain. Gosh, the crack is almost a centimetre long, I am not exaggerating. The pain is driving me nuts, when my upper wisdom tooth on the left side came ou,t it wasn’t this painful… god, this pain is causing me a headache.

Anyway, enough about my pain, let’s see, today I had a scouter council meeting, at the scout den, Meng was supposed to pick me up early, but he came late, and we reached school at bout 2.05? (The meeting was at 2, in the den) anyway, the meeting was ok la I would say. The only annoying thing was the people that I had called to come had all FFK, (people like Seoh) and people like Kean Sheng who were supposed to call to confirm whether he was coming did not call even after I had called him (he didn’t answer his HP).

Some more I talked to him on MSN the night before and told him to call to confirm. . =='

If you are not interested in scouting just at least SMS or call back to say that you are not interested,(and I will never bother you with scouting again..) or that you are busy and unable to make it for the meeting. Funny wan lor this people. Like I SMS Win Han asking him whether he was coming, whom did he answer? Christopher.. Slap this people I tell you… people now a days, all have no courtesy and manners..

Fung Chuan’s presence was unexpected. But either than that it was ok. Fung Chuan presented some ideas, which sounds interesting… in a company, but not the troop, we have to many red tapes to worry bout, what more about things to sell to the scouts to raise funds for the campfire. Oh yes, Ai kun was chairing the meeting. I have yet to tell her this, (I didn’t get a chance just now) but if you are reading Ai kun, you need to be more firm lor I find. That FC was going on and on and wasting our time and he’s going on about the same thing, which is pointless talking about, if the scouts don’t want to do it. Anyway, sorry for cutting through in like that, but I got fed up la, and since you wouldn’t stop him, I thought that I would, cause he was wasting our time.

Haha, teach you a tactic to shut people up next time, just say that you find the idea interesting and good, smile and nod, but then after that say that you will further discuss it after the scouts have been introduced to the idea and agree with it. (Notice that that’s what I did muahaha). That way, you get to go one with your meeting per schedule and the guy who gave the idea won’t be so upset, as it will seem that you are not 100% rejecting his idea.. Haha call me evil, call me mean, but although I said I liked his idea, I don’t agree to it 100% maybe only 20 % or less haha, cause knowing the red tape now haha. Well anyway it was a good thing that he listened to me and shut up, and let you continue the meeting haha. Oh yes, for your first meeting that you chaired. Not bad ya. Keep it up. 頑張って「がんばって」. Next time just be a bit more prepared, like the stuff about the QM. Anyway, good job.

Okay, after the meeting, me, Ai kun and Meng wanted to go buy birthday presents. For Mel and Huey. But Ai kun had to stay back for some little discussion, haha comes with being the chairperson? Gambatte Ai kun. Anyway so Meng and I left first, actually I wanted to go somewhere nearby, like Gaint or something, but Meng said go to BU wor, so okay lor, mana tau when we reach there it was so jammed up so we went to the Curve instead. Well we got Mel’s present there (in case this is read by certain people, I will not say what the presents I got were yet. Until I had given them out haha), and well we got something for Huey, but come to think of it we aren’t really happy about it, so on Thursday we are gonna shop around again and see whether we can get something better. (if Meng remembers our date la that is, I tell you he sure forget wan unless I call and remind him, know him for 8 years already…) oh and I got something for Mich too ehehe, kind of like owe her a birthday present.. From last year, better pass it to her before she flies back to Australia.

While there (at the Curve) I bought a Dunkin donut to eat, hehe, (I didn’t have lunch, only brunch at 11 something and the meeting ended at 4 so I was kinda hungry) then after walking a bit more, Meng bought us a bun thing from Bee’s Bakery. Funny things like Japanese seaweed role and stuff like that. Tasted not bad. But that made me unable to eat up my dinner, I had to give my dad half my rice. Then we walked and got the stuff that we had marked down earlier.

So anyway, that’s all that happened, after that Meng and I went home, we got caught in a short jam out side the Curve but that was nothing. We just chatted in the car la. And after I got home, I showered and slept went out for dinner, came home watched tv, and here I am. Got to go to bed already as I am going shopping tomorrow morning to buy CNY clothes. P/S: oh ya Taylor’s computer is useless, on Thursday or was it Wednesday?(it was on Ai kun’s tanjoubi if I remember correctly) Anyway I tried to upload some pictures onto my blog at college as it’s faster there, mana tau, suddenly only a whole bunch of people came into the Web and then slowed down the connection line and all, resulting in, as it’s obvious - no picture. And I have to redo everything again. Idiot really. See la when I am free that time, I will upload in college again.

(it's much faster than home) so anyway the first picture to be uploaded is a picture from my dai kau fu's wedding. which was somewhere midyear last year. anyway, it's onlly 4 of us inside, my cousins and i and that's that. i forgot when was the wedding so i have no speicific date.

Omedeto tanjoubi has been mentioned before, for those who have forgotten it means happy birthday, Ai is Xian Ai’s last name, and kun is just a Japanese way of calling others, like san or chan. I have mentioned calling her by Ai kun before. Anyway, this is just to wish her happy birthday, as it’s her birthday today.

So happy birthday girl!! Well yesterday which was 11th of January I went with the birthday girl down to Petaling Street to get her present. A few months back she said that she wanted a sling bag, so I thought of getting it for her, but I wasn’t very sure of the design, and as Mich was in Kuching, she wasn’t free to accompany me. So, I thought why not bring her down to choose? She would like it better if she chose her own present right?

So down we went together, and as Ai kun said that her brother might get her the bag we went for something else, so we shopped for sunglasses, and as I lost mine I bought one for myself too. I was supposed to share the bag with Mich, but as there is no bag now, the sunglasses will be paid for by Mich. Anyway after the sunglasses, Ai kun said that she needed a watch, so we went and got her one, it’s quite a nice quaint one. And this one is under me. I am not pantang on watches as “biu” (cantonese) and “jung” are different hahaha. Also at the LRT station on the way back there was this 3 for 10 earrings so I bought 1 for me and 2 for her hahaha, I think Ai kun must have been very happy ya?

Oh, while we were down there, as Petaling Street is near the place I usually by anime, we, more like I, went anime shopping. And I bought Ayashi no Ceres (it cost 24), Tsubasa Reservior Chronicle (26) and Inuyasha the movie,(8) something Fire at Hourajima. I asked for a discount though, as I usually buy from there and that is what I got. Actually I only wanted to buy Ayashi no Ceres and Fullmetal Alchemist the movie, Conquerer of Shambala. But the movie was only in malay subtitles, so I left my number with the shop worker and told her to call me when the English sub comes in.

My eye caught another anime, which I wanted to watch, Full moon wo Sagashite. I mentioned 2 posts before that I read the manga at Borders. Well I saw the anime and it cost 51 bucks, (I could actually buy it, I had brought enough money..) as I had already bought anime which I did not plan to buy, I guess that Full Moon wo Sagashite will have to wait for next time..

When I got home I tried to watch the anime, but the player couldn’t read the discs/ couldn’t play properly.( I got home around 3, mum would be home around 5) so I tried to clean the player, which took like 35minutes for each player. But the effect was better at least the disc could be played clearly now and it can be detected now. The DVD player had to be cleaned twice though. This is it’s 1st cleaning since the day it was bought, and the VCD player hasn’t been cleaned in eons too..

Anyway as I was too tired and since mum was home (if she catches me watching it’s highly probable that I will get a scolding.. sigh ) I didn’t watch the anime and spent most of the time cleaning the players. (Just pop the cleaning disc in, but I had to wait for it to be done.) I was half asleep when everyone came back. My obasan is still here, as she needs to see a doctor later at 8.30 later, so she came back and watched TV, my parents cooked dinner and all. And after dinner I showered and here I am, on a blogging frenzy. This is the 3rd post in 3 hours hahahaha.

All right then, got to go to bed. Though I can wake up a bit later (7.30, so I take the Putraline to college) as class starts at 9.30, I’m kind of tired as I have been out the whole day and I didn’t have a nap, plus my difficulty in sleeping last night, I had better hit the sack now, it’s 12.15 am.

Doyobi 1 Gatsu 7 Nichi

Went out with Xian Ai and Michelle today. Went to a bookshop called Borders at the Curve. It’s a bookshop. Actually I felt like crap, but since it sounds like I won’t be walking much, I was like okay la. Woke up feeling nauseated. Had a cup of Ribena and vomited it out again.. Useless body I have here, started to recuperate a bit, although I had no appetite the day before, at least I ate a bit more then I had usually been eating. Anyway went out with them at 11am. Went to Borders, to actually buy Xian Ai’s statute books and mine. Turns out that Borders doesn’t have it. But they had some manga and unlike Kinokuniya some of them were unwrapped. Since I didn’t feel that good, I just grabbed a manga, which turned out to be Fullmoon wo Sagashite. The first book to sit down on a couch to read, while Xian Ai and Michelle, looked around. That manga was quite nice, it made me feel like watching the anime. Anyway, I sat there and read till it was about 12.30 then we went for lunch at Sakae Sushi. I think that that’s the place Ray wanted to bring me to? There’s the computer stuff he mentioned.

Anyway as my appetite was poor, I just ate some sushi. The bill came up to about RM10 a person, so I guess it was okay. The food was okay too, but as I wasn’t very well, I couldn’t really enjoy it. But I did feel a bit better after that. We sat there and chatted about stuff (one of the topics being my bruise which is still on my left arm and still hurts hahaha) as Xian Ai and I had a scouter council meeting at 2pm we decided to quickly stop by MPH to get our statute books. So at about 1 something we left Sakae. And walked over to Ikano to MPH.

While there, I got the long awaited tarot cards. Finally I have tarot cards. (hence this post’s title) It’s the exact same ones as Gene’s. Xian Ai found our statute books. But it was only company. The people working there were looking around for the property one for us. Walaueh! Took to long, then when we wanted to leave then only they said that they found it. Anyway, we decided to get it as well, as we don’t know when we are coming out again. Anyway by the time all this was done it was 2pm. The free bus service next stop at Ikano was 3pm so we decided to take a cab.

Taxi drivers are assholes!! They are totally absurd!! Why do I have to pay the fee two ways??!! Treacherous leeches. Anyway, as we were rushing for time we had to be willingly swindled. 15 bucks to Taman S.E.A. School. Idiots those errant taxi drivers are. Anyway we reached Taman S.E.A. at about 2.25pm. as Michelle isn’t a scouter, she called her dad to pick her up at school, while Xian Ai and I went to the scout den for the meeting. Actually it was the AGM so they were electing new B.O.D.s. anyway me who wfas feeling not well, was tortured for about almost 3 hours plus. The outcome was okay, I got away scott free with no posts hahaha, (I hate politics you see) but poor Xian Ai got the post of Chairperson. With our study load and all I don’t think it’s a suitable time for her to take on the post, which she wasn’t willing to take anyway. But no matter, if I can I will support her all the way la. Though with parental restrictions when it comes to scouting I don’t know whether I can do much except help her call and talk to people. As some of those monkey scouters ahhaha, okay naughty ones, somehow listen to me only so weird, no? guess I have that kind of maternal thing there, so it’s like listen to mummy hahahah.

So anyway, after that it was home and to bed. I think the scouter council made my fever come back hahaha.

After that my aunt from my dad side came over, and we went out for dinner. And as my aunt was staying over. So chat a bit with her then went to bed.

Nichiyobi 1 Gatsu 8 Nichi

Couldn’t really sleep the night before although I was tired. Guessed that I had too much Chinese tea. Anyway woke up at 9am and my aunt brought me out to her area there. My appetite still isn’t that good, though I am eating considerable more now. Couldn’t finish my wan tan mee, though it tasted really nice. Walked at her Pasar Pagi, and my aunt bought me a black shawl/scarf (RM10) and a jeans skirt (RM30). I would have liked more, but she brought 4th uncle’s two younger children along, and she spent close to a hundred on each of them, that was like 200? So I dare not ask for too much and just settled with the skirt.

After the Pasar, we went to her house to rest, then my aunt’s mother-in-law wanted to go to Jusco (the one in Kepong) so we all went, and walked around a bit, looking at stuff and all. After that it was back home for me. Had dinner and tried to sleep early as college starts tomorrow. Couldn’t sleep though. Too used to staying up late? Took cough medicine and went to bed at 11. however stayed up talking to my brother till it was almost after 12. (I was sleeping on the top bunk of the double decker bed in his room cause my grandmother had taken my room, and she was sleeping there with my aunt)

College started today, duly got out of bed at 6.30. got ready caught the school bus. My classmates and I thought that we had C&A, after waiting outside the class for what seemed like eternities. Ms. Sarah turned up, (well she showed up at about 8.07) and gave us a half hour briefing and handed us our new timetables. And we actually had a talk at 11.30, but otosan came down to pay my fees and Melissa, Xian Ai and I just went home.
Anyway it’s those kind of introductory talk I suppose, most of us second years ponteng anyway hahha.

So went home and nothing much happened after that.

Ohya supposed to have a land law unassesd work to hand up today, but as I didn’t know, so I didn’t do it. Sigh. Feel guilty.

Kayobi 1 Gatsu 10 Nichi

It’s a public holiday, so wanted to do the land law work. But my mum brought me out to by Chinese New Year clothes. Went to the Brand at Ikano. My god, mum’s friends were right, the clothes there are cheap but one hell of an ugly. Hahah went home empty handed. Actually wanted to stop by One Utama after that, but as there were too many people we headed home. And I headed to my bed hahah. Nisan left back for Adelaide yesterday, so I switched rooms with my obasan (old women/grandmother). And I got my room back. Tired to do the land law, but Oh My God, to do it I need to read at least 300 pages of the text book. I opted to sleep hahha. And that was the end of the day.

Hidoi just means cruel. The title is simple right? Well, the thing that was cruel was my viral fever, I lost out almost 2 weeks of my holidays because of it. And actually I am still suffering the after effects of it. (which is a super stupid cough and flu, which doesn’t seem to want to leave..) Anyway, the viral fever is the reason for my long absence, so I was thinking of posting up what went on and my thoughts during the time in which I was ill. Remember that “gatsu” means month, and “nichi” means day, finally “nen” means year. The words with the word “yobi” attached is just the days of the week i.e. Monday Tuesday etc. so if you want to know what day nichiyobi is referring to, I suggest you go look at the 2005 calendar.

Kayobi 12 Gatsu 27 Nichi 2005 Nen

Today I was supposed to play mahjong with Gene and Rowan, but I woke up feeling like crap, so I was lying around in bed almost the whole day, thinking that a little rest is all I need and I can play mahjong after that. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any better, and after taking my temperature it was at 38°C, and I was down with a horrid cough too. So I called Rowan and Gene, told them that I couldn’t make it, took Paracetamol and went to bed.

Suiyobi 12 Gatsu 28 Nichi 2005 Nen

Still down with the horrid high fever. Exactly four hours after taking a Paracetamol, the high fever comes back, no fail, I had to diligently take the medication even in the wee hours of the morning. (imagine at ¾ am I had to wake up to eat my medication.. sigh)I would wake up shivering due to the high fever. My temperature even reached 39°C at one point when the effect of the medicine had wore off. Torture, no appetite to eat, and feel so sleepy the whole time.. I think I need a doctor…

Mokuyobi 12 Gatsu 29 Nichi 2005 Nen

Woke up with the flu. So now I have high fever, cough and flu, and just when I thought that it couldn’t get any worse. The fever is causing me difficulties in sleeping at night, I am shivering under my covers. Popping Paracetamol as if my life depends on it. My mum got worried, afraid that I might be down with Dengue. So at about 9-10am my dad brought me to the University Hospital (a.k.a. UH) for a check up. Went to staff health services to get the number and everything. Wait here, wait there, (well it’s government after all what do you aspect?) After about an hour, I finally got to see the doctor. And had my blood taken for a platelet count and all. The doctor said that I had a virus, but they are not sure whether it’s dengue. My platelet count looks ok. The doctor also said that if my high fever doesn’t drop by the fifth day or so, I had better go and check my blood again.. So I just got a prescription and went home, popped another Paracetamol and went to bed. The horror of it all. The crook of my left arm is bruised, where my blood was taken. Internal bleeding?

Kinyobi 12 Gatsu 30 Nichi 2005 Nen

My fever is still as high as ever, if not higher, so my mum took my blood again, this time from the right hand, my left arm still hurts at the spot where my blood was taken by the nurse. My mum said people with thalasemia usually easily get bruises like that over small wounds. (Explains why I bruise so easily?) Oh I woke up with another symptom. This time I have the sore throat. So it’s like a package A, accept the fever for this one is killing, so I diligently pop my Paracetamol and head to bed. Okasan said that, if the fever doesn’t drop the next day, she’s going to take my blood for a platelet count again. Where is she going to draw blood? The left vein is still unavailable due to the bruise and she just took from the right.. like vampire only la.. still no appetite to eat.. die lor like that..

Doyobi 12 Gatsu 31 Nichi 2005 Nen

Thank goodness. My fever has dropped; it’s no longer high fever but slight fever now. Still feel like crap. I feel lifeless, with no energy to even walk. Sigh. Anyway, my parents brought me out to eat breakfast, had to kind of force myself to eat most of it. Still have no appetite, and at the rate that I am eating, I think I eat only less than one full meal a day. Explains the lack of energy, no? Got a call from uncle HP, and he says that there is a count down at dai yi’s house tonight. My mum seems like she wants to go, and since my fever has dropped, oh what the heck. Worse come to worse I can sleep in the room at dai yi’s house. So in the evening (it was raining, such luck but it stopped when we reached the restaurant, haha I was like a princess, people all holding umbrellas for me keke, well my fever just only dropped haha) went over to Ampang. Went to this seafood restaurant. I have become like my cousin tonight; I hardly ate. My parents were relieved that my fever had dropped that they said I could eat anything. The only problem is they have forgotten about the lack of appetite and the sore throat. But food aside (cause I couldn’t really eat anyway.) the company was quite fun, as usual my cousins on my maternal side. But we didn’t really go nuts, cause I was like dying there. My cousins can’t seem to go nuts unless I do with them.. Anyway when we went back to the house, I went into the guest room to lie down while everyone sat around and talked in the living room. A cousin joined me in the room and we chatted about life, friends and one of the cousin’s attitude problem. After that, we had a countdown (it was kinda lame if you asked me) and got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home from KL.

It’s the new year!! And I am still down with a slight fever, as lifeless as ever. Packed everything up and went back to my hometown. The whole family. Spent my time there sleeping after taking my medication. It rained here, making it cold. So after dinner (still not much of an appetite) we went back home and watched some television. As Pearl Harbour was showing, I thought that I did watch that, and after that I went to bed. Oh, earlier of the day I got an SMS from Jin Fong, she wanted to go out, but with my condition… got a little annoyed with her, as she kept SMS-ing when I wanted to rest.

Woke up, I forgot the thermometer, so I have no idea whether I am still down with the fever. but I don’t really feel like it, then again I could have been immune to the feeling already hahaha. Still lifeless and still lack appetite. Slept most of the day away. Lazed around. Then came back to PJ. Slept somemore, watched TV.

Still with slight fever, slept most of the day, appetite still not back. Life is horrible. I feel like doing nothing. So I just lay down there, watching TV. I watchd Tenjo Tenje today. my piano teacher borrowed it to me before I went to Australia I think. Now only I started on it. Not really nice, or should I say not really my type. As I am kind of a feminist. So all this big boobs exposing oneself, is not really my kind. The storyline is kind of… err cacat also…

Still no appetite but I think the fever is gone. It comes and goes at it pleases. Still lifeless. Continued watching Tenjo Tenje. I have no idea what that show is trying to convey. Lazed about, watched TV. No mood to do anything. I feel like I totally have no energy.

It’s Nicholas’s (Leong) birthday today! I remembered this year. Usually I accidentally forget only to remember a few days later or weeks later (always felt guilty, honest) as I usually start classes on the 5th of January. But this year I was at home with nothing to do. So I SMSed him. Well lazed around today. no appetite as usual. Lazed around as usual.

Watched Ayashi no Ceres, with my nisan’s computer. Cause mine can’t play anything unless it’s in MPEG version. (which I might as well use the player downstairs) ano anime wa, watashi wa mitte wa to san ji asa nemutte. Walaueh damn nice la, the character is so cute, and the storyline about a Tenyo (heavenly maiden), which for those who don’t know folklore.

The story was based on the folklore of the fairies that came down from heaven to bath in a lake/river/ sea on earth. When the fairies were bathing, a man happened to pass by and he saw them, overwhelmed by their beauty, he stole a robe (known as the hagoromono in Japanese meaning feathered robe) which belonged to a fairy. Without it the fairy could not go back to heaven, and thus was stranded on earth. The man then married the fairy. Legend has it that she finally got back her robe one day and returned to the heavens. I am not very sure about the full version, but the basic one is like that. So the basic storyline of this anime followed that legend. But with a little twist. Not bad. It’s a shojou anime and I liked it. Thanks Michelle for borrowing it.

Melissa and Jin Fong wanted to go out today to One Utama. But I felt like crap. Felt like throwing up, and still feel like I have no energy. So I declined and stayed home. Rested, slept, watched some TV..

So this is were I shall stop for this post. It’s already long and boring enough, no? Haha but this was actually more like meant for me, kind of like a journal of me being ill hehheh. Ja ne.
