✿ 未来が見える : Flow© ✿
The smooth surface,
Almost mirror like,
Watching it unknowingly,
I entered its flow,
Unconsciously submerged by it,
Fighting to grasp the sky,
Before being pulled down again,
Following it’s flow,
Unable to turn back,
The road is set;
I shall head to sea,
Can you see the future?
It’s unpredictable

i think i'm more simple minded than i thought i am... past few days, i've been a little emo bitch... (one can tell when i start eating sweet things i suppose.. well among other obvious factors that is....) well, although i think today is the best i've been in the whole week? or two? i guess what i need is good company... (good food is a bonus?) thanks dear XD - second par lat chiu pan mee hahaha.. still tastes good with the right company :p but yes... kin kin... XD bila mau pegi? had a good swim.. no muslce pains after!! i think a nice warm jaccuzzi and relaxing is the trick... i fell asleep in there.. hahah thanks nick :) and yeah, to top it off, i think it would be even better if some people were to stop saying things which sounds to me like they are asking me to suck eggs....for these people.. sometimes, i feel like i'm on a different level, you know, the been there, done that level..... if you don't understand, then well try, before shooting your mouth... or just shut up, if you can't understand... how can one understand, when one knows nothing?? *shrugs* oh well, live and let live... -Oracl3- Labels: Achievement, Appreciation, Fact, Food, Friends, Lifestyle, Random Rambling, Rant
What is contentment? contentment, is happiness in a.... i don't know what... can't think right now.. haha (thinking of watching Fringe haha) i am contented cause i had a wonderful dinner :) after almost more than 6 years i think.... (could be more...) i had banana leaf rice... at the lotus, jalan gasing.. (i could be suffering a bout of amnesia, but that's when i last remembered having eaten banana leaf rice... at that exact restaurant too haha) yum, yum.. stomach is nice and contented... (unfortunately i was starved and finished it without taking a picture.. sigh.. oh well... ) but i remember the fried chicken.. the savoury mutton.. and oh, oh the fish cutlet... melts in your mouth... *slurp* i really liked the fish cutlet :p and what made it even better? wonderful company XD ahh~ as they say the company is really important :) they make the food taste even better... hehe Thank you dearie hehe... you're the best XD -Oracl3- p/s: err the tag "Achievement" is there, cause i think its an achievement that i finally got to eat banana leaf rice after so long haha XD good night everyone :) Labels: Achievement, Appreciation, Euphoric, Food, Friends
This is the month where I've lost a lot of money.... No, no, not through gambling...... but through eating haha.. Have been going out a lot this month, (that would be fine, save for the places that I've been going were all so pricey.. sigh) Anyway, had dinner with high school classmates on Thursday 121109, celebrated Cheese's Birthday on Saturday 141109, and 昨日はお母さんの誕生日です161109 (今日は実は九時午後ですはは), went out with University mate - QW with Ai kun on Sunday 151109.... badminton on Friday 131109 was a tad pricier now... =.=' went for movies.... watched 2012 on... Saturday after Cheese's Birthday as well... Ermm... movie was so-so..... by the way, word of advice, watch with a not so intellectual mind and don't analyse too much.. either than that CGI suckers like me, should like it enough XD Ahh, back to the outings.... sigh.... all so pricey.... am so broke.. sobs... please donate haha hmm work wise... currently.. well..... self esteem is still a bit low, since I'm still facing a lot of things I don't know, especially with regard to the investments part.. ( still in the learning process - need to speed up!!!).. guess it doesn't help that I am quite blur and slow..haha although I've some great and helpful teachers here :) A really big heartfelt thanks to them for sharing their knowledge with me, for correcting my mistakes and for putting up with my blur-ness (not to mention my retarded-ness haha though that's no secret I can be quite retarded :p) haha XD All in all, it's still encouraging.. may be struggling to keep my head above the water, but its a good struggle.... if there's such thing as a good struggle... (life is a challenge??) But yeah.. am working on it... (where art thou my beloved brain.. come back, come back to me... - ehem.. sorry.. being a bit Shakespearean dramatic here haha) However, seriously, sitting on your butt the whole day and staring at the computer screen does take a toll on you... my butt feels so, so, so damn sore... so does my neck and shoulders from crouching over to read documents... my eyes... arghh... (having sensitive eyes is a pain.. literally..) either than that... have been watching Fringe (stolen from my Master... haha) it's okay and all, quite addictive..... sometimes? but the best is Dr. Bishop, and his son Peter.. Dr. Bishop is so cute and funny haha.... I love his random obsession with food... (maybe it's cause I can connect with him on that level... only that level... I'm no mad scientist!! haha) well that's all for the random rambling this round.. till then.. toodles.... much love -Oracle- Labels: Amusing, Appreciation, Education, Encouragement, Entertainment, Family, Food, Friends, Law, Lifestyle, Literature, Random Rambling
はい,はい すいませんでした私は最近にとても忙しだから。。。と。。 What do I have to show for disappearing off cyber earth for almost a month???!!! Absolutely nothing... ahhaha..... [ sorry, my head has been killing me the whole day.... forgive me for this moment of insanity...] Well besides being busy, [ sorry for such and old excuse, but I don't have any novel ideas when it comes to excuses as to why I haven't been posting, cause I rather not lie but tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....] it's the usual old excuse, which I've said so many times we are all sick of it, so I shall spare us all by not explicitly stating it, but just implying it.. You know where I'm getting at... Okay moving on... I passed my ethics exam..... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't even a little tiny bit worried.. cause I wasn't.. [ haha gotcha.. hahha] I totally forgot about it, if my colleague didn't keep asking me how are our results and if we've passed or something.. I totally forgot I took that test till I get reminded.. I'm sad, I know.. but well, seems like at least one person was having expectations on me passing it in the first round.... [ so, okay was a little worried because of that looming expectation...] Anyway, called parents to inform them bout the result, came home and went out with parents for dinner to celebrate... Japanese food.... at the usual restaurant.... [ yes, a lot of things are being implied in this post.. it's all the "you know what" & "you know where" plus the "you know who" wherever applicable....] So yes.... work... and you know what [ it starts with the D word.. if you are having difficulty guessing, cause I know I am.. and I'm the author of this post.. yes, I'm sad x2.. sigh].. and ermm... well work? Oh, speaking of Japanese, we had a meeting today with some Japanese clients.. They were funny and nice [ ....and cute too?? in their manner of joking with each other that is... don't misunderstand =.='], and gave us a box of chocolates as a souvenir/おみあげ [ if that's how they spell it].. 本当にありがとうございましたババさん!! I have yet to share it with the other chambies, because they seemed so busy, and the meeting ended quite late.... So I guess tomorrow I will open it, when everyone is there.... XD [ well actually i've an ulcer, which refuses to heal.. sigh.. and am supposedly supposed to lay off these "heaty" stuff.. sign =.='] Haven't managed to tell my master personally that I passed, he was really x3 busy today.. so I didn't want to intrude... shall tell him when I can... :p ermm what else..?? I know the country's political scene is as exciting as ever, but... ermm.. well, you know.. And yeah, spent the whole day tortured by one stupid headache, and I meant the whole day.. no joke.. such torture!! so am gonna pop some paracetomol now and hit the sack, and hopefully am much better tomorrow.... That's my update for now.. till next time, when i find.... well.. oh, you know what I've to find to post...... -Oracl3- Labels: ✿私の気持✿, Amusing, Appreciation, Family, Food, Ill, Lifestyle, 仕事ージェイ●エル●ピ●ダバルイ

Title: hito ga kawatta : People change Yes, the year 2009 is here, and people all change with time, for better or for good.. even I've changed... but that's another story.... on to something else.. just wanted to get that off my chest... ermm.. had a busy day.... today... sorry, make that yesterday since it's already 440am... had badminton on friday night, came home at about 1 i think, showered and slept at about 2 something, had to wake up in the morning, around 930 for breakfast with mike.. woke up to her call, and had no peace getting ready, as james called me to ask about chambering stuff... went to eat dim sum at DJ then came back around 1210? or earlier? put my laundry in to wash, Seoh came over, then at 1225 it was out again, for lunch along with xin yin and leong to celebrate a early birthday for leong. came home.. around 4 something, tried to sleep... but what with the insistent text messages, i got so irritated, i finally turned the phone to silent and slept. Even the phone was feeling tired, seeing that I just charged it the night before, I actually had to charge it again.. that's how much messages I was getting?? woke up later to get ready to go out with michelle, for a super mini G1 gathering at sunway. had trouble getting ready, as everyone seems to be hunting for me... still... =.=' I can't shower nor dress in peace!!! (-.-') and the fact that the clubbing plans for the night had trouble... it's either karaoke or clubbing.. which later at dinner it was settled to karaoke... Went to Yuen's at Sunway, with nicole, siew kim and michelle... ate till about 9 something. .got home around 925, called gene, and he came round around 945 with leong and huey in tow... and we went to karaoke where we were joined by yee jin, till 4, actually, we got kicked out.... and then we looked for the car, and got home now at 440... so yeah.. what a day... my motto of moderation is gone... hence my consistent complaints.. I can't help it, when I go out, it's the whole day and non-stop.. why can't there be moderation in this??? but usually I don't complain when I've to stay home..... but still... one thing about today.. really tiring.. but I found a new singing voice that I really like haha.. Gene has been dethroned.. but I don't think he cares anyway... -Oracl3- going to bed now... typed this in 10 minutes =.=' nights everyone.. am so broke..... donations are hugely welcome.... 二零零八年十月五日:月曜日 Woke up to Ccy's morning call for breakfast.. dragged my lazy ass out of bed, and prepared to get ready.. was really sleep deprived lately.. Ccy, gave me a grace period to get ready, before coming over... although he had the car.. I thought it better for us to be more economical, and environmental friendly to walk.. since I didn't know where else to go for breakfast except outside my area.. as the only thing going through my mind was "I need more sleep" Walked out, and decided at pure randomness? To have dim sum.... so we sat there and ate, and drank tea for almost and hour.. Ccy, said it was expensive.. I found it ok, what with the rise in prises and all.. Reccommended the dim sum at DJ to him.. After breakfast, walked back to my house, then he left, to come back in the evening to hand me a piano score of one of joe Hisaishi's works.. Played it, corrected Ccy, then poh mun came, and she sent him home... Then it was lazing around.. Lately, seems like I'm on some movie spree.. or more like DVD spree.. watched martian child, made of honour and kung fu panda recently... Maybe it's because we got a new DVD player.. so it's like hangat-hangat tahi ayam (fawning over the new stuff, only to get tired of it later?) Of the list I made for myself in the last post, some have been struck off.. so am slowly getting on with that list haha... List copied here, to remind me to continue working to strike off more stuff from the list!! 頑張ってね!自分て。。=.=' Before I sign off, a list for myself.. to remind myself of the list of things I ought to do and to stop procrastinating!!- Sort pictures from 2006-2007 for developing
- Finish photo album with current pictures
- Translate the Ghost Hunt Manga Volume 10
- Wash bathroom
tidy room... (Well only one corner is messy....)
Iron clothes....Tidy up cupboard...
- Practise musical instruments?
- Blog? Well, when I find the mood.. and time...
- Tidy up the "Work" room next door.. well after I'm done with it..
- ... Anything else I deem fit to enter into this entry.....
I still have no idea what's wrong with my itunes, search function.. maybe I ought to bring 白ちゃん to the shop... And I think my aduim (my messenger) or Maxis is a retard.. to get on MSN now I've to use meebo.. such is my life..sigh... -Oracl3- Labels: Food, Friends, Movies, Random Rambling
Cross posted on Critically Acclaimed with a different commentary, well different enough.. As there are some things I can't say on CA, as it would make no sense there...
Since I've been commissioned by CA to I've tried to make it a habit to take pictures of the food that I'm eating, and to talk about it. I've quite a number of things to post, but as is evident from even this blog, I don't have the time to even blog on this blog, what more elsewhere.. =.=' Not to mention that there are groups I have to moderate.. And I still need to get my translations for Ghost Hunt done... I'm like some internet addict.. damn!!
Anyway back to the topic at hand.. As I was saying, since I've been commissioned by CA, I tend to take pictures of the food I'm eating, to do reviews about them. So what is not better than introducing some of the yummies from my hometown, when I went back last weekend.. Usually, when we head back and if we make it during lunch hour we will head to this particular stall at Jalan Chui Yin in Bentong, Pahang.
His stall is usually crowded and with the seller having somewhat a temper, it says millions that people still flock to his stall to buy his Yong Tau Fu. I'm guessing a lot of people have no idea where Bentong is, well either go to CA for what I said there, or go look at a map.. I'm too lazy haha, although admittedly and obviously I cut and pasted haha..
Time for pictures of the food!!!
Forgive the presentation of the pictures, as this stall only does take aways, and the food comes wrapped in plastic and newspaper, hence it's look.
Okay, okay, I know it doesn't look that appetizing, (Looks like someone barffed in it?? Reminds me of the time where Ryan, my Canadian Friend in Reading told me the story about some people stealing food in his corridor, and the curry someone barffed in got stolen.. haha..)
But never ever let looks be the judge of things.
A more presentable look? Actually, they have fried noodles as well, but I like their Chee Cheong Fun the best. But what's even better is actually their chilly sauce.. Yum! You can see the chilly sauce which I've poured at the bottom right hand corner of the 1st picture.. The darker red indicates it all. It's really delicious, although slightly salty. The Tau Fu Pok [Something made out of soya like taufu], and their taufu is the most delicious, and they have enough fillings in it, to keep you satisfied. For those who aren't locals there, or not related to anyone there, you wouldn't happen to know that the tau fu pok in Bentong is really nice compared to those of KL. It's texture is softer and nicer to much on.. Darn, talking about this is making my mouth water. Back to the topic at hand.. The stall opens exactly at 12pm everyday, except on Mondays if I'm not wrong. Around 1150am you will see the owner pushing his cart to the corner of the street, and getting ready to set it up. He's a really amusing man, who scolds his customers. Don't mind him actually, he does it with good intentions. Why? You may ask? Well, this is how he scolds you in Cantonese, I apologize for the rough/literal translation: "There are a lot of buyers, if you can't wait then don't buy, go away", "Why on earth are you buying so much? What about the other customers? Don't they need to buy as well?" So, see his scoldings are all with good intentions, and though he tells people to leave when there are too many people, the buyers will still stand there not moving an inch like rocks!! His service is okay, besides scolding people, he does remember whose turn it is, and gives the proper priority. But his Yong Tau Fu is heavenly. Usually we eat the Chee Cheong Fun with the curry sauce, and the chilly. A piece of yong tau fu costs 70sen a piece. I think that's quite cheap, since you get the deal out of it, as unlike some shops which are so stingy on the fish paste, inside the yong tau fu. Well, if you happen to drop by the town, drop down by the place! And remember, don't let the looks fool you! It's just like mamak food where presentation is close to zero, but the taste is delicious. So if you happen to be in Bentong, give me a call, and I'll direct you there. Even better, make a trip there with me :) -Oracl3- Labels: Critically Acclaimed, Food
Edit: Apparently I was told that it's Chocolate Lounge.. not Shop.. hence the change, plus some added pictures :pCross posted on Critically acclaimed infoOn the 29th of August 2008, upon waking up I got a call from Mel.. asking whether I was free to meet up for high tea or something, as Jin Fong was free to meet up that day... So with Xian Ai as the driver, she came to pick me up with Mel, and Jin Fong and we headed to Bandar Utama for a High Tea... Ever heard of Theobroma Chocolate Lounge? Yes, that's the name of the shop Theobroma Chocolate Lounge... And another sign above the counter As Cheese had said that, that was the shop for Mel, and Mel had insisted on trying it ever since he said that.. now seemed like a good as time as any.... So we headed for it... The ambiance was nice.. With nice comfy little chairs for you to chat and sip your drinks.. The Ambiance was a tad simliar to Savoy's? Kinda high class feel, no loud insane laughters here... only quiet conversations.. Now as we all know.. I'm not a very big fan of sweets.. Well, not as much as I used too... I've moods for such things.. Moods which are so unpredictable and temperamental as the weather in the United Kingdom... But I'm no selfish goon.. if you want to try it.. and if I won't die from it.. What's stopping you.... So... okay.. we set down.. it's self service by the way... you've to order at the counter... after staring at these.. and Pretty menus.. After deciding what we wanted.. we ordered.. and waiting for almost and eternity before we were greeted with these... 4 Cold chocolate drinks.. with names pointless to remember... maybe... I don't know... I remember the drink called Iceberg, Queen of Iceland, Snow White Mocha.... I only remembered the names of 3 of the drinks... Erm, we ordered two plates of ermm desserts, Belgian waffle?? and Banana pancake.. Close up of the pancake.. This was really delicious.. I dont' know why we don't have an individual shot of the waffle.. Don't ask me.. I didn't bring my camera.. All pictures are courtesy of Mel's mobile... others are from here
The waffle was okay.. but because we were waiting for everything to arrive it got cold and hard.. I think it would have been really delicious had we eaten it there and then... It was quite pricey, and not really meant for the student's pockets.. Unless they have a free flow from their generous parents.. A drink there cost about RM10.90, whilst the desserts cost RM14.90, and they would happily charge you an extra 5 bucks? I think.. If you would like to add a scoop of ice cream to your dessert.. I'm a poor student.. and that amounted to almost robbing me poor in broad day light... Here I am before the spoil.... Overall... All the chocolate was really jelak.. Resulting in me not really being able to eat dinner... =.=' But the banana pancake was really delicious.. and is recommended if you can afford it... -Oracl3- Labels: Critically Acclaimed, Food
EDITED: Thanks Chelle for reminding me :)The title says it all.. okay on the 5th of august 2008 I think... I went out with Mel and Xin Yin to get our MPO tickets for our show which would be on the 15th of august.. Since we were already there, we decided to catch a movie too. we watched Mummy 3 the dragon king.. I think.. starring Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.. the usual... Though I prefer the old actress for Evie... oh, I remembered when I wanted to blog about this, but forgot bout it, when I actually got down to blogging, cause well.. was distracted haha.. anyway.. Chelle reminded me, that I forgot to mention something :p After the movie was over, in the movie theatre.. as Mel wanted to catch the name of one of the actresses, we sat down for a bit, and down at the bottom of the steps, I saw two figures waving at presumably us.. Now, most of you all know, that my eyesight isn't exactly superb.. Xin Yin hasn't a clue who they were, and Mel didn't seem to be paying them any attention.. A quick glance around.. seems to say they are waving at us.. So I stared a tad longer, and realised that the outline of the body, hair etc.. resembled people that I know.. namely Chelle and Vivian haha.. So I boldly waved back ahha.. after I told them this, Vivian laughed and said, they should have acted like some weirdo waved at them, haha.. jokers.. Well, we also met, Yogis, and Uma too.. Such a coincidence that we were all in the same theatre on that day :) We enjoyed a little chat, where Viv actually said they were going to Penang too!! on the same dates as us.. we were happy.. but it was short-lived.. cause they didn't make it, while we did end up in Penang on the said dates.. but there's next time :p after chatting for quite a bit.. as it was kinda rude to Xin Yin, so we decided to make a move.. since we had to meet Seoh too who was working in a nearby hotel...... Nicholas Seoh had insisted on meeting up for dinner.. but as Xin Yin & I wanted to go home for dinner, we merely accompanied him, and snacked in burger king :p Mel & I pulling at a piece of fried cheese?? Well , after that it was home... A few days later.. on the 8th of august 2008, the day the Beijing Olympics 2008 opened. I went with Nicholas Leong to Ming Tien for dinner, and was supposed to meet up with a primary school friend.. on the way, as we were walking to Ming Tien, we bumped into Nicholas Seoh, who was walking Keng Mei, my neighbour home.. Hmm~ suspicious.... but oh well.. if they were suspicious, I'm super suspicious then... haha... So Seoh joined us for a while, and left just before my friend showed up... Which friend? Well, look below... haha Li Qin & I, we were like best buddies in primary school, she sat in front of me in standard 6 haha.. those were the days.. so fun, and we used to go for librarian duty together and all.. felt a little old? but she didn't change much.. neither did I, I guess... Anyway, Leong helped to take this picture... Since the 8th was the opening of the Olympics.. I managed to watch it somewhat at Ming Tien, unlike stupid RTM 1 who interrupted such an important live telecast with stupid commentaries and advertisement and not to mention they started 30 minutes late.. How stupid can they get.. It has been going on for days that this will be the BEST opening for the Olympics that the world would have seen, that it will start on the 8th of august 2008, at 8hour08minutes08seconds and yet instead of rescheduling the 8pm news or whatever.. they just showed it late.. idiots... Calls to show a repeat has been ignored.. real idiots... Well, even though I managed to somewhat catch it at Ming Tien, I couldn't really hear it all that clearly... and I was busy chatting with friends.. but whatever I managed to catch.. it was superb.. The REALLY AMAZING thing about it, is that.. it made all Chinese people all over the globe, proud to be a Chinese.. Even if they are bananas [ i.e. Chinese people who can't speak Chinese...] it didn't matter that we are like the 3rd or 4th generation since our great, grandparents or whatever, left China to seek greener pastures in foreign soil, we were all just proud to be Chinese.. that it was so superb... so cultural.. so easternly oriental.. ahaha.. Just magnificent.. and so far.. China is leading with the most gold medals now... I managed to watch some of the sports.. and woah.. are they good.. the China contestants.. that won gold.. Really deserved it.. like in synchronized diving.. the two divers were like mirror images.. so damn cool.... and perfect... well others were cool too ahha.. and well, Malaysia got her first? medal? in the badminton singles!! not bad :) but anyway, that's all for now... I know there has been a whole lot of lack of political posts lately.. but that's because there's nothing going on either than anwar's sodomy case... either than that.. actually I've a ton of questions, and remarks.. but as I fear ISA.. I can't exactly write it all down.. that would leave definite incriminating evidence against me.. so lately, I've been expressing my views verbally to whomever wishes to discuss whatever with me.. But I'm still a little behind in the political scene, due to my exams.. and I haven't really gotten round to reading Malaysia Kini or Malaysia Today.. but I get some snippets of information from my dear father who reads it religiously almost every day.. :p Anyway, I doubt anyone would be able to answer me if I asked them things like.. What happened to Balkis.. and of the 30 000 supporters in permatang pauh, weren't the majority of them for Anwar? Malaysia Kini I think.. or Malaysia Today reported that BN only had about 8-10 thousand supporters.. How on earth do we trust the main stream media..? sigh.. no wonder everyone turns to online media... and well.. A particular political party thinks we are still stupid and sucking off our mother's nipples, with the stupid things they are doing.. they have to bear in mind.. one reason they lost is because most of us are young voters.. who fortunately.. own a good brain!! I'm sorry it became political.. on to the next post, and we call it a night.. since MSN is being an ass.. and not letting messages get through.. or even connecting.. sigh.. People.. please start using google talk or Yahoo messenger please? -Oracl3- Labels: Achievement, Appreciation, Entertainment, Food, Friends, Movies, Politics, Random Rambling, Rant
Facebook is a retard. No matter how many times I try to upload the pictures from Wendy's birthday onto facebook.. just when it's done.. it will tell me that upload failed.. I give up! Whoever wants the pictures... Get yourself Skype [ Because my MSN is retarded as well] and add me, or see me in person with a pendrive! ***** Okay, back to the post.. on the 16th of May 2008, Wendy decided to celebrate her Birthday with us after class.. and she graciously; knowing that our driver's license is for decoration.. Drove us all to Midvalley Megamall.. A place I've not been for years.. because it's so far away from home.. When I have Bandar Utama so near by, why waste petrol going there... further the shops are all the same.. [ Guess it's also because I don't really shop, nor fancy shopping.. I prefer eating haha] but I digress.. We headed to Midvalley, and to Kiku Zakura to celebrate her birthday :) Me, Xian Ai & Mel... This is what I ordered.. Beef something.. Tasted so Chinese... =.=' Poised to eat... The people... on the other side of the table, we have the Birthday girl, Wendy, Eddy, & Siew Peng.. The people who came for the dinner.. we have Shien Wei next to me, and Kenny next to Wendy.. The one taking the picture is..Daphne.. Sorry.. I didn't load a picture with her inside... We sat and ate, and chat.. and drunk tea... and then.. it was time...
For the nutella cake Birthday Girl making a wish... Giving the cake the first cut... The nuttella cream in the cake... The tea cups were interesting.. so I took shots of it haha Well, that's about it.. we ate and chatted.. and as we were all quite full, and there was a slice of cake left, we played a game, called the number's game.. I think.. We chose a person, who picks any number between 1-100, and other's have to NOT guess the number but it's an elimination process. Allowing the number for the players to pick to be significantly reduced...
If say I chose the number 50, and a player says 30.. the number range has become 31-100, and as they guess, the number becomes less, if the next player guesses 60 it's range is further reduced to 31-59 etc If the player guesses the number he/she loses, and has to eat a slice of the cake. If we are at the last two numbers, eg 49-50 is the range.. .if the player doesn't guess the number i.e. guesses 49, the person who chose the number loses and has to eat the cake... We were so noisy in this game haha.. but in the end we finished the cake.. and left.. The parking rate is RM1 for the first 3 hours and a dollar added on for every consecutive hour.. guess what.. we were there for 3 hours and 3minutes.. so we had to pay an extra dollar for 3 minutes =.=' But all was well, it was a fun outing :) Wendy sent us all home after that, so nice of her :) -Oracl3- Labels: Birthdays, Food, Friends, Rant
Another really delayed post.. this was from Chinese New Year this year.. & it's all dinners, dinners and more dinners... [ don't ask me why.. I don't know either.. Eat, drink and be merry?] I don't know in what order the pictures goes either.. I'm just posting for the sake of posting??? O_o' But anyway here goes... not much of a commentary.. Since I don't know which picture is for what? the Reunion dinner? Dinner on the night of Chinese New Year? I don't know.. All I remember was.. as usual it was dull for me.. and so boring.. and I didn't get any mahjong this year... sigh..... Not to mention it was hot as hell. Hence you see me, in spaghetti straps most of the time. I was practically melting and wishing for UK weather... At Indah Rasa... Maybe it's the reunion dinner.. But not everyone was here yet.... Ermm dinner on the night or second night of Chinese New Year? Because this is Aunt Penny and she usually comes back at around that time... Well, parents & I.. This is at Siong Hei Lau.. 3rd uncle and family.. beats me why I'm loading pictures of relatives.. when this is my blog, and should be pictures of me.... but well... it's related... relatives, relatives... more relatives... Another dinner at Indah Rasa??? I ran out of spaghetti straps? but it's air-conditioned there so it's fine... Ain't my grandma cute when she smiles hehe 5th uncle & family with grandma... 3rd uncle and family... The food? okay.. it doesn't really look that artistic.. but it tastes good.. never judge a book or in this case.. food by it's cover/look..? Nothing much for this post, [ I don't recall much, maybe because I was bored half to death then..] and the pictures does all the talking.. this is only the paternal side of the family.. I don't know why, and don't ask.. but the maternal side seems to be lacking in a whole lot of pictures... I need to burn all these pictures into a CD for my paternal side of the family.. So I'll have to scavenge for the DVD in which I burnt it all in... if there is such a thing.. I hope.... =.=' -Oracl3- Labels: Family, Food, Traditions
For those who have already read the past posts, you might want to scan through them again, because I've recently backdated and posted two more posts below to keep up with the time line...Okay.. this should be the last post for my brother's holiday back here... I tried to keep it all in chronological order like I did my Perth Trip, so that readers have it easier, and all you guys need to do, is just to scroll down..[ See I'm so nice..] rather than read the post.. going down than scrolling up to the next post.. I've purposely posted it so that all you need to do is scroll down... Okay this post is for... pictures in which I can't remember when we took them.. I mentioned somewhere below that Junko met up with Haruka in Petaling street... As my brother wanted company I guess, and wanted to buy some Japanese Dramas, I tagged along.. We arrived there around lunch time, and headed to our favourite Beef Noodle Stall for lunch :p Enjoying their food? With that big fat smile on my face.. I sure am.. kekeke Here's that famous Beef Noodle, it's been around for almost 50 years.. I really love the soup that it comes with :p After lunch we met up with Haruka and some of her friends near the entrance of Petaling Street. As those two wanted to catch up, they went off to Purple cane for tea, while I shopped with my brother for the dramas...
I still remember the group of us introducing, bowing and all in front of McDonalds.. That was fun :)
Well, and I remember that my brother were walking around the whole place, searching for the Purple Cane branch in which Junko was at.. because I wasn't very familiar with that part of Petaling Street. I remember finding Kemayan college [Another college for law.. And CLP] and I remember losing my first aid badge.. sigh...
But that was how it was... after picking up Junko we headed home via LRT...
Next, are also pictures in which I can't remember the date.. but this was at home.. and we just had steamboat [known as hot pot to some of you] at home.. so here are the pictures...
Precious is sitting on my chair?? Well the array of food... As I said... eat, eat & eat.. :p

The 22nd December 2007, was the date my brother arrived with his girlfriend. If I recall correctly, he arrived in the late morning or so.. Hence , right after his arrival we headed back to Bentong for a family dinner, as it was the Winter Festival [ It's a festival to celebrate the coming of winter, though Malaysia has no winter...] We came back in time to see my Grandmother [ Paternal side] making Tong Yuen [ It's little bite sizeed balls made out of rice flour, I think, with fillings inside, usually Sugar is used as it's core, though other things such as peanuts may be used. Cooked in Ginger water.... It's traditional to have it during the Winter Festival, and I don't know where this came from, but apparently the amount of the balls one eats, is equivalent to your age, eg if you are 20 you eat 20 balls. but we don't do that haha.. Also the eating Tong Yuen, if I'm not wrong, signifies that you are a year older, which is a good thing? Because in olden days.. Living itself was hard.. you know, diseases and famine.. etc...] So, we taught Junko how to make them and we all sat down together to roll the balls [ Usually the children enjoy doing this, and I must say, I enjoyed doing it when I was a child :p ] Here are the ladies seated together rolling the balls, My grand ma was making white and pink ones.. and I taught Junko that we can actually combine them, and make them look like pretty little marbles :p When that was done, and after lazing around for a bit, it was time for dinner.. The winter festival, is another excuse besides Chinese New Year, for Chinese people to gather with their family... We headed to... Siong Hei Lau? One of the restaurants in Bentong, and sat down to nothing else but a Chinese dinner :) My family & Junko :) enjoying the food... [ Since when, don't we enjoy food? Most of us LOVE to eat..] My 4th uncle and his family.. they live down the road from me.. convenient in some sense :) My fifth uncle and family, his son isn't in it.. can't remember where he went, for camp maybe.. and at the corner is my grandma.. This isn't the whole family.. it's only 3 [including my dad, my dad has 6 siblings.. so only half were here.. we don't want to talk about my maternal side... it's double the amount..] of my grandmother's children that came back.. although it's preferable if the whole family came back, but the modern world dictates our life sometimes.. and people have to work...
Here we are again, with the Shark fin's soup [ Though whether it's real Shark's Fin or not.. I'm not very sure... =.='] And that's all for the dinner.. the next day we headed up to Genting Highlands as can be seen from the post below.. So we just ate and was merry.. And went home to bed... -Oracl3- Sadly, my 4th guitar string broke.. and it was new too, not even a year's old.. sigh... and the packaging proudly advertised itself as being of the best quality.. liars!! On the 29th of December 2007, since we had a foreign guest with us, we decided to make a trip to Melaka.. To allow Junko to learn a bit more about our country.. Well, if I'm not wrong, our Sultans all originated from Melaka, so it's fitting that we go there... and besides.. we wanted to let her try Melaka's famous food... So in the late morning we headed out to Melaka... we arrived around lunch time to eat this... Enjoying our Chicken Rice Balls :) Hope Junko liked them, they're yummy :) My brother was taking this picture.. so he isn't in it.. Then it was back into the car, and we parked near.. St Francis? [ I think, can't remember that church's name..] church? and walked over to Christ Church... The 2 couples posing near Christ church.. There were a lot of beca/rickshaws here and souvenirs shops.. with outrageously expensive prices.. [ I was the only single..sigh how sad...] This was before we headed for the Stadhuys, and Junko & I went into the musuem.. I don't get a distinction in history for no reason, as I explained the things in the musuem to her as far as I could remember.. but then you know.. I studied it in Malay, and the explanations or name plates were in English etc.. At first I was wondering what's VOC, then it hit me.. it was that Syarikat Hindi something we studied in school ==" While waiting for Junko & I to be done in the musuem, the remaining people, who - Didn't like history [well, in general..]
- Can't remember our history
- Couldn't be bothered to spend money to learn things he/she already knows
- Maybe all of the above
Waited outside.. and took some pictures while waiting.. Junko & I took a while.. maybe it's because I tried to explain almost everything to her, you know about Parameswara... etc.. Kesultanan Melayu.. etc.. Brother & mom just taking pictures to pass time.. Looks like dad decided to join in too.. I'm sorry I took so long and bore you guys.. =.=' But it's history you know, and we should explain things properly to our guest :) After the museum we headed of to the ever popular A famosa and St Paul [I think] cathedral ruins... That's the St Paul's cathedral behind us.. it was a hot but windy day.. not bad weather we had... Basically in the ruins all we get are tombs...
A pretty tombstone :p I like the crest, that's why I took it... Then we walked down to the A famosa...
And just posed away... With that done, we walked around the place a bit.. Coming across this... Some oversized Kereta Lembu? haha.. It's only for decorative and tourist purposes.. And well, there's only so much in Melaka, I guess it didn't help that it was a day where quite a number of things were closed? And well, unless you want to spend all your time in museums, there really isn't anything much.. so we headed back to the car..
Even with nothing much, we spent a good many hours in Melaka, and as we had a dinner appointment. We decided to leave early, to get home in time to freshen up & rest..
The Ladies outside Christ Church again... [ We had to pass by it to get back to the car, so we took some more pictures :p] On the way back to the car we even had cendol.. that was right after we took this picture[s]. It was just opposite the road :p Really sweet [Have my moods for sweet stuff] if you asked me... and I'm not really a cendol fan [Don't know why, either I don't like the taste.. or a trauma haha]
Well and that's what the whole trip encompassed, it was only for Junko to see more of Malaysia while she was here, and to eat the famous Chicken Rice Balls..
After we were done sightseeing, we headed back home to have dinner with Aunt Penny & Family
