The year 2015 is coming to an end, and it seems to have been a year of tears for me.

Was coming to Japan really the right thing?

Earlier around April or May, I got the news from dad that one of our neighbours who was battling cancer, had passed away.

He was dad's colleague and long time friend, I had known him since I was a child.

I shed some tears for him on the train back from work upon hearing this news.

He was a kind uncle and in some sense had seen us grow up, and while not integral, he was, in his own way a part of our lives. I will always remember him as the uncle who car pooled with dad, and that helped dad punch his card at the office sometimes.

I really wished that I could have attended his memorial, and was really worried about dad, since this was his long time colleague and friend.

But while I was sad, there wasn't much I could do, and life seemed to go on, and dad seemed okay.

May you rest in peace uncle Teck Loong.

After that in October, my precious left me, despite our promise that he lets me send him off when his time comes. Probably he did try to keep his promise, he probably thought I was home for good when I came home in September.

Since my precious has been with me for almost half my life, I am still unable to take it easy, and I still cry almost every day over him. But tomorrow part of him will come to me, and hopefully that makes it a bit easier for me.

But I write enough about him every day that I don't need to reiterate that in this post.

And well today, I found out from my brother that my primary school's headmaster. Mr Yeoh Boon Keat, the Headmaster of Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Taman Megah, had peacefully passed away at the age of 74 on 20 December 2015.

He retired in the year 1994, I was probably in primary 2 then, but I still remembered him, remembered talking to him, remembered crying and running after his car when he left the school during his retirement.

I even remember some students telling him not to go. I have always remembered him as a kind and sincere man.

Again while I would have liked to attend the memorial service of this great man, who after 2 decades since I last saw him, could still bring tears to my eyes upon hearing about this death, I am unable to since I am now in Japan.

Mr Yeoh was a great teacher, now a days you won't find any teacher who would go around picking up rubbish and cleaning the drains. I think I remember picking rubbish with him once and having a short chat with him.

He was also a teacher that would go round talking to the children like they were his kids. He genuinely cared for the students. Even though there was so many of us.

The world doesn't seem to produce teachers like that anymore, well at least not in the cities.

Mr Yeoh, may you rest in peace, know that you are much loved by all your students (who are now probably spread all over the globe), even now at least 2 decades since we have left school.

Yesterday, I had to go back home in the pouring rain.... raining cats and dogs outside my work place, so that I could make it in time for my dinner cum alumni meeting... got all drenched.. what's the use of an umbrella.. which leaks??? =.=' chucked the damned thing away... that's what 10 bucks gets you...

well, the dinner cum meeting, turned out okay, and the world is small, met an old friend there... Jo Weng, still looks as good as ever, made small talk, and he left.. I think the last time I bumped into him was on new year's eve? 2007? I think... It's been a long time.. we should have kept in touch.. he's a nice kid.. :)

anyway, after the meeting.. the food was quite nice by the way, had nasi lemak, since i'm all better now... *yaay* then went home.. attempted to do some work.. but was too tired..

oh.. today we... as in huey, leong and I had lunch with John.. the kid is leaving.. sigh... when will be the next time that we can meet? and I can nag?? haha.. introduced my Korean colleague Enna to huey and leong.. they got a long well.. sweet :)

But back to John.. well, hope he takes care, and have a safe flight *hugz* (though he's not exactly going home yet... haha) he's a nice kid, he's a funny guy...

on the 29th of September 2008, before Aiyee left for the UK to continue her studies, a few of us Reading people met up for a little yum cha session.. so we ended up in... Ermm SS17 that side I think at some condominium... Xian Ai and I actually met some high school seniors there as well.. Small world..

But anyway we took a picture and here it is...

All firls only, we have Me, Xian Ai, Mel, and from the right, Ming Choi and Aiyee.. yups all girls... :p

Next up.. remember that retarded thing I was talking about a while back... Well I wanted to post a picture of it, but I couldn't load it till now.. So here is the retarded thing!!

It's a teddy bear.. 100% hand sewn by yours truly for her sister.. It's kind of small.. and it's a lot of work. so no commissions will be taken.. besides.. it's kind of retarded... Well, family members might be an exception... if and when I get more cloth and time to do it haha....

What can I say.. my sister loved it.. Well.. I did put in time and effort and all... and who doesn't like cute hand made stuff.. although it's a little retarded...

All I can say is that.. everything went on nicely.. till I had to sew them on to each other... making the indiviudal head, body, arms and legs were just nice and splendid.. Till I had to combine them all..

The head is a little off as in senget... and the arms.. well... I think one might be higher than the other haha.. but oh well... That's proof it's 100% hand sewn haha..

Well the first week is over... so this is what I've to say..

Day one.. 3rd November 2008, Monday

First day of work.. had nothing to do... made friends with the other chambies & Paralegals....

Asked around for these forms (Borang 1-8 which is in Malay..which has already been complained about...) I had to fill in to be recognised by the BAR council that I'm a pupil/chambie. Spent the rest of the day filling out the forms...

Found out that my Master (Not that Master we have something called the master-pupil thing...) was the guy that interviewed me...

Day 2... 4thNovember 2008, Tuesday

Got permission to go to the Court complex at Jalan Duta to hand in my borang (it's Malay for form) 1 & 2 so am officially a chambie on 4th November!!

Got caught in a stupid massive downpour, the Masjid Jamek area was flooded.. and I had to wade through ankle deep water... sigh... Was quite tempted to just go home... and I think I should have.. But my stuff was still in the office.. So I went back to the office...


Day 3... 5th November 2008, Wednesday

Went to look for the lawyer that wanted to give me work the day before... It was research work... And I must say.. what we study in company law.. doesn't equip us for the corporate world.. It's a whole new world out there for this area of the law...

Spent the day, trying to figure out what the lawyer wanted.. and to get the answers for what she asked me to do....

Found it, but since I was told it wasn't that urgent.. Decided to take the next day to compile everything nicely for the lawyer the next day...

On another note.. Didn't really feel to good.. so overdosed a little on vitamin C..

Sister left back for Athens on this day I think...

Day 4... 6th November 2008, Thursday

The lawyer that assigned me the work had a meeting and wasn't in... Typed up and compiled what I think is what she wanted me to do... for the research.... and was just about to set out to look for someone to delegate work to me.. since my supervisor... i.e. the lawyer who gave me the work, and my master wasn't around... didn't know who to ask... but then another lawyer in the corporate department asked me to help her.. so okay...

Help with compiling and photocopying the stuff for due diligence (I've not much of an idea what it is either, so don't ask) Spent the whole day, arranging, photocopying....

The photocopier has a vendetta against me.. Kept acting up saying the paper was stuck, when there was no paper.. grr... I think I got Ozone poisoning..

I still didn't feel that well either... Maybe worse... but thought it was due to Ozone poisoning...

Day 5... 7th November 2008, Friday...

Officially do not feel well... Felt feverish.. coughing... sigh...

Still had the compiling and photocopying work to do... was busy, busy, busy...

Registered online for this BAR council thing.. found out... my university wasn't listed there... So had to call them up and email them.... etc.... had it settled.. got back to work..

Had a meeting/discussion about the ethics exam that we had to take... Was really feeling horrid already by then.. it was about 5pm then...

After the meeting.. another lawyer assigned me work for the coming week.. Quickly finished up the last of my compiling work.. and left for home at about 550pm....

All that's left would be to the print out the covers haha...

Sadly couldn't go for my much awaited badminton game, as am ill.. with a fever to boot.. sigh...
And that's all for the time being.. going to rest, as I've to go out with friends later.. sigh....

I think we both know it's kinda good that I didn't go... Though I'm always mean to you (good naturedly.... For me at least haha)... For my own evil entertainment... like this sentence... "You know today at the office I... and.... it was... and.... floating... So I had to.... twice..." Yes, the title says it all...

Before I head on to the reason of this post, let me just say that in less than 5 hours my brother has to fly back to Brisbane.. so have a safe flight bro and see you again next year.. or well.. in the next few months.. or, whenever you have money to come home and can take leave from work... It's been fun having you here hogging the dog and everything.... And thanks for all the stuff from Japan.. I love it, and I would write that in Japanese, but unfortunately I can't because this computer doesn't have such a function.. but I digress, back to the topic....

I'm expected to be busy this week... Expected... Not like I wasn't last week... Anyway....

Reasons.. . ermmm, interviews coming up? some events with friends? A supposedly planned badminton game coming up? Yes, supposedly, because if there's no court on Wednesday, they will play on Friday.... and well this Friday there is a festival at IMU which I've promised to attend..... and well, yeah interviews.... We'll see how it goes, am tired and well, just really tired now...

Jittery bout the interview? Well, not yet, maybe not..I tried preparing based on this book Xian Ai was kind enough to loan me.... About questions they would usually ask and all... I guess I'm okay for those?

I'm quite confident a person, unless they start asking me law stuff, like what procedure should one do to get an injunction.. I'll just have to honestly answer, I'm not sure.. but I think an ex parte application supported by an affidavit...

(reason being.. when I was studying.. that came up so many times, for almost everything... :p haha)

On another note.. it's been more than a week.. one week and 3 days, since it's now Monday, 139am.. and Shiro chan is still no where in sight.. am getting depressed over that fact, not depressed, despressed, but just depressed.... You know when people say there are happy people, and than, there are happy people? Well, I'm the former, but you get my drift....

I think after my interview tomorrow.. I shall call the shop.. I can't continue living like this.. I need Shiro chan.. I have a ton of manga I want to download, I want to listen to my classical music, I want to translate manga, I need to download at least 5 episodes of anime, and that number keeps increasing.. and I want.... I want... I just want Shiro back!!... Sigh....

On the 29th of December 2007, since we had a foreign guest with us, we decided to make a trip to Melaka.. To allow Junko to learn a bit more about our country.. Well, if I'm not wrong, our Sultans all originated from Melaka, so it's fitting that we go there... and besides.. we wanted to let her try Melaka's famous food...

So in the late morning we headed out to Melaka...
we arrived around lunch time to eat this...

Enjoying our Chicken Rice Balls :) Hope Junko liked them, they're yummy :) My brother was taking this picture.. so he isn't in it..

Then it was back into the car, and we parked near.. St Francis? [I think, can't remember that church's name..] church? and walked over to Christ Church...

The 2 couples posing near Christ church.. There were a lot of beca/rickshaws here and souvenirs shops.. with outrageously expensive prices.. [I was the only single..sigh how sad...]

This was before we headed for the Stadhuys, and Junko & I went into the musuem.. I don't get a distinction in history for no reason, as I explained the things in the musuem to her as far as I could remember.. but then you know.. I studied it in Malay, and the explanations or name plates were in English etc.. At first I was wondering what's VOC, then it hit me.. it was that Syarikat Hindi something we studied in school =="

While waiting for Junko & I to be done in the musuem, the remaining people, who

1. Didn't like history [well, in general..]
   
2. Can't remember our history
3. Couldn't be bothered to spend money to learn things he/she already knows
4. Maybe all of the above

Waited outside.. and took some pictures while waiting.. Junko & I took a while.. maybe it's because I tried to explain almost everything to her, you know about Parameswara... etc.. Kesultanan Melayu.. etc..

After the museum we headed of to the ever popular A famosa and St Paul [I think] cathedral ruins...

And well, there's only so much in Melaka, I guess it didn't help that it was a day where quite a number of things were closed? And well, unless you want to spend all your time in museums, there really isn't anything much.. so we headed back to the car..

Even with nothing much, we spent a good many hours in Melaka, and as we had a dinner appointment. We decided to leave early, to get home in time to freshen up & rest..

On the way back to the car we even had cendol.. that was right after we took this picture[s]. It was just opposite the road :p Really sweet [Have my moods for sweet stuff] if you asked me... and I'm not really a cendol fan [Don't know why, either I don't like the taste.. or a trauma haha]

Well and that's what the whole trip encompassed, it was only for Junko to see more of Malaysia while she was here, and to eat the famous Chicken Rice Balls..

After we were done sightseeing, we headed back home to have dinner with Aunt Penny & Family

On the 4th of January 2008, it was time to say goodbye to my brother and Junko as they head back to Australia...

So we all bundled into the car to send them off..

Sayounara Meng kun/ Goodbye Meng

Looks like i can write Japanese again.. guess it must have been the connection in Bentong, or blogspot was acting weird that day...

So anyway, tomorrow Meng is flying back to Vancouver... Sigh.. thus is my life.... Once ccy leaves for Michigan in June.. I'll be the only one from our "gang" left here... such a lonesome life... aii..

On another note.. my "big bro" a.k.a Raymond... has finally arranged a date with his "lil' sis" here.. after months, and months.. of him being holed up in Johor, and being unavailable.... but oh well... it would be nice to have dinner with him again, after so many.... wait..... well yeah, it's months... not years... haha.. i recall going out for Thai food with him, when I got back... so i passed him the souvenir from London, for his apartment...bla bla....

hmmm~ what else.. oh..Meng has decided to leave his violin with me, while he is away in Canada.. because.. apparently he is lazy, and he has a lot of luggage.. (he gets to bring at least 46kg with him.. what is with the UK??? 25 KG isn't enough for students!! Tourists get 20kg, what makes you think an extra 5 would do us good??!!) but him, being him..

I suspect, that maybe he left it with me, because it seems that i have taken a huge interest in playing the violin.. and according to him.. "I'm made for the violin" though i digress.. i still think i'm kind of bad at it... but I think I'm getting a hand at it.. i just need more time to practise.... something which i don't have until after July.. sigh... But it's interesting, because I'm starting to believe I'm not tone deaf after all... I at least have relative pitch I guess.. Maybe when i have time later, i ought to give the ear training site another go...

Anyway, whatever it is, thank you meng, for letting me have the violin :p

Oh well... when i have the time or mood....

Otori monogatari..
i got the idea to name this post based on genji monogatari.. well.. in this case, this post means tales of the otori.. though i think i would like to read tales of Genji someday..

this is just a short post to record my euphoria of finally finding the book that i wanted to read (though i do not possess the time to read it now..)

i had posted about the tales of otori before and had stated that i was looking for its trilogy, and i finally found it, and at an unbeatable price as well.. haha RM 39.90 for 3 books.. usually you would be obly able to obtain only a single book with that price, but i got all three for that price.. so now my search is over.. so i guess good things come to good people? cause on the day i bought the book, i had helped an blind man on the train...

class ended early for us on sunday as the lecturer had finished the sylabbus, so we decided to make a stop at the "cheap" bookshop to browse around.. and i'm happy we did, as now i can read the book when i'm free haha... at least i dn't have to search for it anymore...

so that's all for now... recently i've been updating my list of mangas, animes and shows, and i sure seem to have quite a lot.. but oh well haha... next time when i'm free it will be to update my book list.. sigh i have a tutorial today at the ungodly hours of 6-9pm.. erghh stupid brickfield's timetable

YES!! finally this is my last post before i leave for malaysia.. all my long overdue posts which had been hanging over my head since march has been taken care off, all posted, though not in chronological order, but at least everything has already been loaded onto facebook, the links posted here, and the pictures sorted and posted here.. wah.. a lot of work... =='

but i managed it, and this is the latest that my posts can get.. it's only a day.. well technically it's 2 days old only haha...

sigh have to say good bye to teh united kingdom, but i already said my good byes and all that in a post that i posted a few hours ago, before i started this crazy multiple posting.. yes.. so happy that this is the last one.. till i head back to malaysia..

my blog posts won't be this hectic in malaysia cause i hardly go anywhere.. ahha.. usually sitting at home, that i can go for months wiht nothing to post.. now it's the opposite, i go out too much and have more than enough to post.. but it's all done now... everything posted while i still have fast connection here haha..

so ok down to business then i can sleep early...

on the 13th of august... i decided to close my bank account then... cause well i have been travelling all the while, and when i went to leeds, i still needed my bank account in case i wanted to use my debit card right?? and when i came back from leeds it was a friday night.. which lloyds bank will be open for me?? and i don't think they were open on saturday nor sunday, so i had to set monday ie the 13th as the day to close my bank account.

since i was going out, i might as well make full use of my day right??

well, the day started out kind of bad.. i was having an upset stomach, which i suspect was due to the chili crab that my cousin gave me the night before as dinner.. but then again.. could be that my stomach couldn't take such spicyness after so long...

anyway.. due to my upset stomach, my day started out late.. well wat with sin calling me then aansan ==' also not to mention that there was no electricity!! and no electricity meant no water!! cause this is a flat, which means no electricty to pump the water up to the 4th floor.. where i m staying, and no electricity to cook since the stove works by electricity.. gosh.. really terrible.. to top it off, my cousin's washing machine is spoilt so i can't wash my clothes.. sigh.. have to bring it back home to malaysia to wash.. jsut my luck eh?? =='

so anyway.. after settling my stomach as best as i could... i went to the post office at liverppool street to get my stamps for the letter to mail to sin (as said before i m mailing my sim card to him the day i leave. refer to post below to find out how to contact me!!!) i finally found the freaking post office mum!!!

so anyway.. bought a little something for lunch, and had no choie but head back to the flat for some medication, and rest before heading of to south kensington...

why you may ask i chose to go to south kensington when there are obviously more nearer lloyd's branches, like the one at baker street...

well if you recall from the eastern europe trip, i said that des made us get off at south kensington to get to the MAS office right, and yes.. i wanted to go to baden powell's house haha.. that's the reason..

having no electricity meant the router was out, so i had to call sin and ask him to search for me, and he found a lloyd's branch there for me so, off i went...

got lost actually intially, cause tehre was OLD brompton road (where the freaking bank was) and brompton road.. and they are at opposite ends.. idiotic ass who named teh streets... =='

ended up at the wrong side, before back tracking and finding teh correct place.. took me almost 30 minutes jsut to get to the bloody freaking bank... arghh.....

so anyway, closed my bank account there, and decided to head of to baden powell's house, now, thanks to des i knew where it was.. so it was impossible for me to get lost now muahahha.. and off i went.. :p

yes, me being outside.. well had to ask people to help me take pictures, since i was sight seeing a lone.... and well.. err.. these people have no skill wan la .. they had to take my picture bout 4 times just to get it right.. waht's so hard with trying to get the words and me inside? 0_o'

well i entered and.... there's nothing in there.. it was like a hostel.. albiet a not so dumpy kind of hostel, but it had the hostel look, and well, they had like one small section with some of baden powell's relics, and a huge lounge!! and well that's it, the counter sold some scout souveniers like badges, woggels and pins.. which due to the jamboree was all SOLD OUT!! sob~ jsut my luck la...

first i coldn't even make it as a day visitor to the jamboree site no thanks to teh freaking shipping company, and now all teh stuff are sold out.. but well since i m not that fanatic about scouting, what can i do? so i jsut let it be la.. not like i will die without having done all those stuff..

so from my description, you can very well gather that there was nothing for me to do tehre right?? and well i saw some german scouts and what i think are spanish scouts.. saw some uniforms that's it.. too bad i don't have any malaysian scout scarf with me, would have loved to trade with them.. their's is so colourful....

anywya.. having nothing to do at baden powell's house.. i went next door to the natural science.. or was it natural history musuem,...

they had this explore antartica thingie in the musuem, so i thought that i would try it out.. and well, yes here i am taking my own picture.. as i said the pain about sight seeing alone is the taking picture. part and well, about the mengada part.. that doesn't really affect me, since i don't really mengada to start with.. but i find it so annoying when i want to take pictures.. =

but anywya, if any of u guys happen to go to the musuem, don't go for this antartica thing.. it's a waste of money... all they do is make you go into this freezer which is negative ten degrees, let you stay tehre for about 2-3 minutes, let you out, and then you walk into this exhibition thing.. see some "penguin" vomit...
try on some of teh jackets... play a few games.. maybe it's cause i ve been to better musuems.. that's why i feel this is crap..anyway.. personal opinion was that it wasn't worth it la...

so that's it for now.. i m done with all my posting for now..

some people asked me, am i sad to leave the UK? well, hmmm~ close friends will know that i don't really have much feelings for anything.. so ermm.. i am feeling neutral?? but i guess deep inside
i do feel a little sad, i mean who wouldn't right? this place has been my home for a year, and i dn't know when or if i will ever come back here...

about leaving malaysia, that was a different story, cause i know that definitely i will be back in malaysia, and furthermore.. most of my friends are actually already over seas... ==' so i had no feeling when leaving malaysia..

bout family members.. well i m clsoe to everyone in my family, but closest to my sister.. so i like UK better cause the time difference is only an hour, meaning i can chat with my sister anytime.. while compared to the time difference back home ==' but then how do you miss parents who bug you online everyday? haha.. so tha't answers some of you people, yes?

but anyway, i m the kind that rarely shows her emotions, and well even if i do, it's really last minute... like well, taking exams.. i don't feel anything till i sit down and read teh questions.. realise i cant do it then panic ahha.. unlike most people i know, panicing before they enter the hall.. but well this year i did panic quite a lot haha.. cause i studied last minute and there was a lot of pressure to at least get a 3 rd class... or i m screwed for CLP ...

oh before i forgot, on the 12th of august i went out with rory to hammersmith, and had lunch at pizza express and watched rush hour 3.. real nice and funny movie haha.. then after that i cabut balik asap.. and well yes, teh shipping company finally came and took my stuff, the guy was much nicer than the last one haha.. well this paragraph is just for my records la haha :p

ermm.. guess that;s all, nothing else to say la.. have said my good byes one time too many.. and well we will see whether if aansan is free tomorrow to come and see me off, since he says he will be in london.. if he can see me off.. i wonder whether he can see me off all the way to holborn?ahahha :p my luggage is kinda heavy and the picadilly line at holborn does have 2 flights of stairs.... hmm~ kekkek >:p

oh well.. that's alll for now la...

p/s: for all the posts lately, all those involving pictures, please don't mind the spelling and grammatical errors, i just went along as it is, so i didn't bother to check on my english, and many a time, my sped in typing has caused many typo errors and all, and my computer has been acting weird, in the sense that the RAM is like not enough... =='

so i type faster then the words show.. and i mean way faster.. it's like watching a whole paragraph type itself out, when i ve stopped typing, as i usually look at the screen when i type, i make mistakes instead when the words don't come out on the screen as i type, thus all the mistakes... and in abundance..

so forgive this blogger here for her crappy writing skills haha.. it's malaysianized as well ahha, at least i do my best not to use SMS spellings when blogging, after recieving numerous complaints from my parents, and i guess it's also cause i text less here in the UK so it was easier to revert to the proper spellings but still, i need to read more books.. but i won't cut down on my anime and manga haha :p

and yes, i admit, my english has become somewhat horrendous, and months of not using my brain has rendered it rusty, making me somewhat stupid, and lacking in common sense.. haha.. i need mahjong.. to sharpen my mind.. anyone back home up for it?? :p

this is just a little post to inform friends and family that i will be returning to Malaysia on august 15 2007, my flight is at 10pm but i m leaving for the airport at the latest 5pm i guess..

cause i will be taking the Picadilly line to the airport and it takes me almost and hour and a half to get there by the tube...

so it's my farewell to everyone here in the United Kingdom and in Europe...

may we all meet again someday, either in Europe or in Malaysia :)

the reason being that, i will be mailing my sim card to my best friend in Leeds to use since the contract on my phone does not end till November, and it would be a waste to bring it back to Malaysia and let the minutes burn, so i m letting him use it...

on the 7th of July 2007, as mentioned before... it's my graduation..

my sister came on the 28th of June to help me pack and move out of bridges while my parents came on the 30th of June, and well on the 1st we were all together in my cousin's flat in London. and i brought them round to Windsor, and Cambridge... and to Harrods.. and well nothing much really since they have already been around London on their tour on a sight seeing bus... we even dropped by china town for lunch and to get groceries to cooks. went to watch phantom of the opera.. omg so nice... the pictures are somewhere.. shall look for it later and if i am free shall put it on the blog...

anyway back to my graduation, obviously being a university of Reading student, the graduation was of course in reading, so we had to book a hotel in reading.. called Novotel.. according to yee sin it's a four star hotel!! well thanks to aiyee we found a nice, cheap hotel.. with a swimming pool... yes we went swimming haha.. well my sister and i that is.. a real nice hotel, and we didn't know that genevie was staying there as well, the location of teh hotel was superb as well... we were really lucky!! thanks aiyee for the info :)

anyway back to the purpose of the post.. keep getting side tracked =='

so my graduation......

my parents, sister and i stayed for 2 days and one night in reading.. so naturally they have to see reading town and the oracle, and well my graduation was the bigger thing though ahha.. but we went down on the 6th and came back to London on the 7th, and my parents and sister left the next day ie the 8th.. sigh.....

on the 26th of june 2007 miguel our spanish friend had to return to his home country ie spain. so we decided to hold a litle farewell for him, and well sicne he was always playikng the piano for me so i thought that i would give hima little malaysia farewell hehe..

so with the help of melissa and wen, we decided to have a picnic with malaysian food, and so we did on the lawns of bridges hall haha.. here are the pictrues... hope that eveyrone had a good time and enjoyed teh food...

二日一月二００七年：木曜日

Title reads as itte rasshai niichan, meaning have a safe trip elder brother. I’m currently feeling very sleepy, now… lacking of sleep… what was I doing last night? Burning cds and online? Haha yes that was what I was doing, and then this morning I had to wake up early to go for breakfast with my parents, brother and uncle casey, we went to tai thong ss2 for dimsum.

Today my brother is leaving for Australia again, sigh.. the whole house like so sad even the dog, but what to do la, after he leaves ten days later it will be my turn… thinking about it.. makes me a little sad, cause have to leave my parents, the dog, the comfort of home and the food, but oh well mentally I adapt fast, just hope that my body will adept to the cold weather in reading…

Well a short update, last week, I think it was the 26th or was it the 27th? Can’t remember, but chi ming organised an outing to go to petaling street, but he couldn’t make it, so it was Michelle and I, I had asked Melissa’s sister to come along, and so, mel’s sis and mum came along with me to KL.

We had quite some fun, mel’s mum treated us to lunch. Thanks Aunty and thanks mel!! :p shopping around and walking around petaling street haha, we then went to the anime shop in S&M and mel’s mum left the 3 of us to ogle at the anime haha.. I didn’t buy any, but I bought a show/movie called 子きつねヘレン meaning baby fox Helen, read as ko kitsune heren.

Real touching show, I was crying all the way, I felt like crying, so I bought a touching show haha, besides that, I didn’t buy any anime at all, cause I had chi ming’s external drive, and there are so many anime inside that I don’t have time to finish watching and I have to burn it out, so since I have no time to watch, I was lazy to buy la. ;p wasted a lot of money also going down there…

When I got home, I watched the movie and felt like I had to get Quill, a movie by the same director, and it so happened that the next day my brother was going down with his friend chang lit, so I tagged along, and got Quill :p

Was kind of good that I tagged along cause now I know where the beef noodle store is now :)

Came back from petaling street and watched Quill, later in the night I went to the Curve with my brother and chang lit again to watch a movie, we wanted to watch the curse of the golden flower, but in the end we watched Eragon. The movie was so-so, the main character i.e. Eragon, is such a brat though… =.= maybe he will mature along the way…

On the 31st my aunt from my mum’s side held a new year pot luck party, so my parents and I went, my brother went to celebrate with his friends. Sigh, so nice, at least his friends take the initiative to plan things… anyway was kind of quiet again, even after all the alcohol haha..

Drank quite a bit only la. Only a glass of white wine, I almost finish a can of beer, and I drank like half a glass of rum and coke, I think I drank more than half, but oh well, and I tasted the margarita that my cousin brother in law made, he used to be a bartender haha.. it was ok, I didn’t really like the margarita he made, cause the tequila taste was too strong for my liking that I could hardly taste the lime juice…

But after that it was home, and I watched michelle’s samurai champloo.. her first disc episode 17 got a bit of problem wan.. =.= so sedih, miss jin’s fight scene..

After that, the next day it wasn’t anything much, just burning anime for my brother, and well went out for dinner together with my fourth uncle on my dad’s side and his family…

So that’s all for today haha, going back to burn some anime.. for myself now :p

now, this is the airport haha, i m on the phone talking to a relative haha.. it seems like its customary for us, (ie my siblings and i) to call all my aunt and uncles to tell them that i m leaving haha...
