1. I've no time

Yup, I don't have much time left.. that's for sure... but that doesn't stop me from procrastinating.. why, oh why, do we have exams.... [don't answer that.. I know the answer..]

There's actually a lot of things i would like to blog about now.. and I'm talking about recent issues, inter alia [too much law.. sorry, that means "among others"] :

• RPK's allegation for the Atlantuya case...
• PAS and their stupid directive on lipstick and high heels... [especially on this topic, because I'm a "moderate" feminist]
• Free water??
  
• etc.
  

Sorry, haven't been reading anything but law books lately... am really left behind on recent matters...

I guess, I could blog about these after my exams, but then it won't be such a hot topic any more.. unless I just want to vent my frustration about the Di*k heads of PAS who think only of suppressing women and not educating their D*cks to RESPECT WOMEN...

But I'll think about it, and if I even remember to blog about it... [knowing me, I'll most probably get lazy then..]

So yeah... For now?
It's off to the shower, dinner and books... again..

I'll have to put up with it... and once I'm rid of all these, I'll definitely start lamenting about working life & wishing I was a student again haha [based on experience.. I've seen people I know like that..]..

Part 2: No more cheese for Precious

Oh My God!! My dog is moulting!! I gave him his bath today.. and when I looked down at the drainage I was utterly shocked!! So much fur..

That led to a little short investigation, of what did he eat to render him on the brink of balding moulting...

Armed with Watson as his helper, Sherlock Holmes got down on all fours [literally] to discover the answer to the mystery... and his results of the investigation was totally shocking to his client. i.e me... his conclusion showed that...... ----->

It's my fault the dog is moulting.... (-.-")

Two days ago, for dinner, I cooked scrambled eggs with cheese for dinner.. [ One of my favourites] and I gave him some for his dinner...

I couldn't help it...

He was giving me those, puppy eyes --> " Mommy, I want some eggs with cheese too.. they look so yummy.. pretty, pretty please (with sugar on top..)??!!" kind of look.... and as any doting parent does when it comes to food, that doesn't really look remotely dangerous.. I relented and gave him some with his dog food.... innocent right...? What harm would it do? [except turn him into the moulting doggie he is now..]

You know, I bet that's the little imp's secret weapon.. ' You know, I'm so damned cute, & you can't resist me, so give me whatever you are eating NOW' secret weapon... devious isn't he? The little devil...

Well, here's the breakdown of my sin...

Cheese = salty = Precious moulting = more work for me as I have to clean his fur from the bathroom = even more work for me as I've to brush his fur to get rid of the extra hair = to him totally enjoying it...

So yeah, it's my fault... but you know what..? It's unfair.. no matter how I look at it.. it's a win-win situation for him...

1. He gets to eat nice human food, compared to the bland tasting dog food [yes, seriously, I've tried his dog food.. no wonder dogs like human food..]
2. He enjoys the brushing [but I'm the one that has to clean up all the fur brushed off him..]
3. He just happily moults everywhere, and doesn't need to clean up [my dad's the one that sweeps the floor, not him.. and besides I'm the one that gets scolding when he moults...]
4. My bathroom drainage is full of his fur!! [And I'm the one that has to clean it!!]

Isn't that just plainly unfair????!! he's running around moulting, while his masters have to clean up after him.... Gah... but for my sweet lil' revenge...?

Title: It's not my fault, right?

I had a good start with my Civil procedure,(60% done)... and then due to certain reasons, I've to swap to Criminal Procedure now..

The problem.. I just can't seem to concentrate on Criminal Procedure.. I've studied like 30% of it before.. but I can't remember nuts except for three sections, and I only remember those 3 sections because I did a post on my blog about it. i.e bail s387-389 CPC.. [s354 Penal code for the harassment..] I can't remember case names...

Ok, I remember s402A for alibi.. but that's about it.. what the hell is wrong with me??? Why can't I concentrate for Criminal??? DAMN I'M SCREWED... [s114 Evidence Act- presumed fact... that's not very comforting, besides that's for evidence, NOT criminal...]

Maybe next time I should write a blog post of everything I studied so that I'll remember it better... then again, that's not very conducive when I start working.. You know, it's against the Practise Etiquette rules for me to talk about my cases for the whole world to hear/read.. especially if it's ongoing and if I mention my client's name... [don't ask me what rule it is.. I know it exist, but I only know rule 12 for brochures....]

Starting from yesterday & today, where I'm supposed to study Criminal.. I can't concentrate.. I keep zoning out and going to la-la land.. arghhh!!! クソ！！時間がない！　sob~ sob~

I blame the weather.. I lack concentration when it's hot... sigh....

Life is about living... which unfortunately means.. I've to go through those darned exams haha...[and for the others.. well, there are plenty of other things we dread...]

but hey, how come my parents didn't let me paint my room the way I wanted to? haha... then again... they let me stick whatever I want in it now.. :p I'll take pictures and load them after exams, to show what I've stuck in my room :p

Also, today I've just received a birthday card from my brother who is in Australia... I guess he only remembered my birthday on the actual day, because the card was sent on the 19th of June itself haha... Among all the cards this year.. I'll have to say that I like his the most.. [Though the butterfly sticker he stuck on the envelope seems like only things girls would do haha..]

It looks like it was sort of handmade with those little 2D pictures you can stick on the card.. [you know like the "make your own card" set you get from craft shops..] messy, and a bit sloppy, but I liked it, simply because there's a Grand piano on the front haha.. it's so cute :p [sorry, call me prejudicial then, it's not everyday I get a card like that... haha]

WARNING: RANT AHEAD

Title: しにたい！! しけんがだい,だい,だい,だいきらいよ！！ : I want to die!! I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY HATE EXAMS!!

Okay, you definitely know you've reached a whole new height when death seems more appealing than sitting for exams..

Can't help it.. I've been taking exams since I was 6? or was that 7? Whatever.. you would think that I'd gotten used to it, being forced to take exams for at least 15 years.... but enough is enough.. I seriously don't mind studying.. In fact.. believe it or not, I enjoy it sometimes, especially if the topic appeals to me.. but studying for exams??? I'd rather swallow rat poison!! [I guess I'm the type who can't handle stress? having lived a stress free life for most, or as some would claim, relatively for the whole of my 22 years..]

As we grow older, the standards for exams obviously gets harder...[& I still stay as lazy as ever, studying the day before the exams.. not paying attention in class, nor doing my tutorials/ homework... hence the contribution...] but you feel the stress more, because you don't want to waste your parents money if you had to resit or whatever... also... who in their right mind likes classes on their weekends???!! not to mention, the future of your working life rests in University/Qualifying Exams...[simply worded as, the stakes are higher as you grow older..]

Don't qualify = no professional job/wasting the money spent on your degree = no money = can't survive in urban area
[unless you want to be a farmer or something in the outskirts.. not intended to be insulting, by the way..]

Unless you want to plant sweet potatoes for food in your garden, to survive... if you even have one... And make sure your water usage is within 20 cubic metres, if you live in Selangor [cause that's how much the state government is giving free, or so they said..].. Also, you might want to save up on your candles, and the wax, add some salt [if you can afford it] to keep your candles burning longer, because you sure as hell won't be able to afford electricity... your feet will be your best friend if you ever need to go down to KL.... [what with the increased standard of living..]

But you know what? that's just plain stupid.. to die because of exams =.=' that's the heat talking [studies in Japan have shown that the hotter the weather, the more likely people are to commit suicide..]

You will forever be remembered as the Girl/Guy who succumbed to exam pressure and killed yourself... [okay, that doesn't even sound remotely amusing... it's sad... & sounds stupid... like you're some nerd whose life revolves around exams and books... again, not intended to insult...] it's not the end of the world... really, if you fail exams, you can always resit, admist the nagging from parents on money wasted and the disappointment of relatives... [Guess, the nagging is enough to drive you to suicide/insanity?] And well.. some rare employers don't bother much about how well you did as a student, as long as you perform on the job, because they know that some people just suck in taking exams... but that's your luck...

But for me? I've better things to live for... guess it's back to the darned books.. I really, REALLY hope, that I'll manage to finish studying all 10 subjects before 14th July 2008.. or I'm as good as screwed....

Why the sudden outburst you may ask? Well with only 3 weeks more till exams.. I've spent the whole day today studying, well almost the whole day.. and I've only done 7 chapters for one freaking subject!! to add salt to the wound... my memory power doesn't seem to be as powerful as before.. not to mention that I have 10 subjects for crying out loud... somebody pass me the arsenic like NOW please....!!

Dying..... symptoms of stress already showing.... my appetite has already been affected, and so has my sleep & my skin.... and yet my concentration is still so crap.. Where the hell has my memory power gone too???? GAAH!!

Sigh, why am I an idiot who never changes? Whom can only do last minute work? Why??!! Sigh...

Okay, it's that time of the year... it only happens once a year... and the great actual occurrence [i almost used the word tragedy...=.='] happened 22 years ago.. yes, the day i was born, all wailing, slimy.. soaked.. into this world.. to reign my terror.. my compassion on this planet..

All right! Enough with the drama... as some of you may have noticed from the previous post.. i don't seem to be able to use my onion head emoticons any more... why? beats the hell out of me.. ccy's theory is that the guy whom what the inhabitants of livejournal would claim.. that i was hotlinking [the act of taking other's links for your own.. but i don't have my own photobucket account =.='] from his photobucket account, has exceeded it's usage, and the guy didn't pay to upgrade or whatever..... [do you even understand what i just said..? i don't think i really understand it myself =.=' anyway...]

well, after my exams, i will do something about it.. so wait till after july, i bet none of you would miss it anyway.. since i got complaints about it, when i started using it haha... ermm.. oh yes, back to the post...

for those who have been eagerly awaiting my updates... are you blind???!! i'm on hiatus..!! [well attempted hiatus <-- clicky, click..] well, yes... but i was at least considering updating about my birthday, before going full scale on hiatus... i have a few things to blog about, and some things to cross blog on Generation Lim, so i thought that since i would have to blog on two blogs, those can wait till after my exams..

okay, okay.. i'll try to stop straying... dang.. it's not my fault that i'm easily distracted.. speaking of which, just yesterday i went to mel's church as she had this musical performance.. as usual, her choir was beautiful, and they served a delicious dinner too.. we sang some hymns, sat through a sermon, and enjoyed a drama on Sol of Tarsus, and his transformation into Paul...

All right, all right.. sorry... i will get down to the purpose of this post.. now..

where was i... oh.. yes, my birthday.. well, what can i say? it's the month of June.. the usual time where Malaysians love to have exams.. so we are busy studying/ going through exams, and have no mood to go out to celebrate... or no time.. or no transport.. but i digress...

the earliest to wish me happy birthday this year.. was Cheese@ Chi Ming.. well, i didn't really suspect it or what, but sort of suspected, if you get my drift.. sorry, i'm being contradicting.. but that's just me... but well, cheese couldn't beat my parents who bought me a pair of sandals for my birthday? well they said it was for my birthday.. but birthday or not.. i still needed a pair... but oh well...

okay.. so on the 17th of June.. Cheese came along to my place apparently to give me my fix of anime.. since i complained.. told him that some of the animes were faulty on my computer and wanted to transfer again.. when the transfers were done, he suggested going to secret recipe near my area... cause he wanted to eat cake.. i was like.. err.. ok... [it did cross my mind.. but i thought that it was too early to celebrate... so i shelved it, and thought i was just accompanying him] so off we went to secret recipe..

spent aeons deliberating on which cake to take... i found the peach cake appealing.. but it was fat free.. [much to a few readers chagrin, i bet.. fat free stuff doesn't taste as nice as the real stuff.. that's why i had to think for so long.. but it turned out quite tasty, so it's fine ;p] and well, we got a slice a cake.. and suddenly cheese took out a candle, stuck it in the cake.. lighted it with his weird car key lighter thingie.. and sang me happy birthday for the whole shop to hear.. haha

well, it was funny.. but if i was fair.. i think my face would have been red that time haha.. so we had a nice chat.. usually cheese is so quiet... o_O' haha.. well.. he has his talkative moods.. keke.. so chatted, then it was time for him to go home, after giving me my present.. [the picture of it is below.. well not to mention.. cause i was sort of unsuspecting, i didn't bring a camera.. or well, we could have used our mobiles to take a picture of the cake.... =.=']

and life went on as usual... on the actual day itself.. i went to class to be greeted by the girls.. [Mel & xian ai] with a coffee bean paper bag, containing my present [also displayed below, well the picture of it..] and a cheese cake.. [again, no pictures of the cake.. sigh...] well, it was class then.. so nothing out of the ordinary haha... the usual.. when we went for lunch, Vivian offered to pay for my Chapati [yummy] as a sort of birthday gift? haha :p

a few days before that, when my mom asked me what i wanted for my birthday dinner i told her korean bbq... she said.. it was pricey.. but nevertheless... considerable.. and on the night of my birthday.. well, i came back from a gruelling class.. and was tired.. so by the time we headed out for dinner it was kind of late.. about 8pm when we left the house.. and we headed to ss2 for the korean barbeque.. so yummy :) [and they say a picture says a 1000 words :p] -->

Here we are at the restaurant with the 12 types of kimchi served.. plus our beef and pork... it was really pricey costing us Rm105.10 just for the 3 of us.. but they gave like.. on the house, soup and steamed egg.. service isn't bad and the owner is a nice korean lady.. well at least we don't have to go all the way to Ampang to have korean bbq any more?

next up, we have the present from cheese... a small stuff toy doggie [supposed to resemble my precious??] in a vase with 100 origami birds... i can't believe he spent almost 17 hours on them.. but they were very nicely folded :) pretty!! question remains.. where in my clutter filled room, should i place it.. even the set of 5 mashimaros haven't found their place o_O' [well, i'll figure it out after exams..]

can't really see the doggie that clearly....

and the last one.. though it's edible and already in my stomach haha.. i just got it today [after i was done with this post..] :p well 15 minutes ago to be exact :p

You know, those little cows uncommon in Malaysia?

In Malaysia we usually get cows... well, not to say they are ugly per say.. but we grew up on Enid Blyton and other English books now didn't we? [At least I hope most of my readers did..]

So cows that are wholly black, or wholly brown, or black & brown, don't really appeal to us..

Oh, I remember a trip of mine in the UK, our first trip out of Reading. A society organised a trip to Bath, and we saw our first Western cows for the first time..

Yes, I'm talking about those little black & white ones... So uncommon on tropical soil...

And back to the title --> I SAW A COW TODAY!

Yes, I saw a cow, and I saw a black & white cow, I saw a cute cow.. it was so adorable.. And guess where did I see it?

I saw it at the Kelana Jaya LRT station, as I was exiting the ticket booth, on my way home! [After a grueling 9-5 Evidence class...]

A puffed up little cow! Okay, it wasn't little, it was about my height.. Okay, it was taller than me... But it was so DARN CUTE!! [Though My revengeful Miniature Pinscher is still much, much cuter.. ~click on the links for my cute doggie~ :p]

Initially I thought that it was just some blown up cow, with a weight at the bottom, because when I saw it, all it did was wobble back and forth.. then as I was walking pass it.. when I got a surprise...
[There were some ladies giving out some little card and magnet, which I shall explain later..]

**This lady gave me a magnet, telling me it's a book mark.. [Well, benefit of the doubt, I haven't tested it yet to see if it sticks to the fridge... CONFIRMED! It's a magnet.. What is with that lady??!... Magnet & bookmark are two different things..] well, as the cow was so cute.. unfortunately I was being rude, and wasn't looking at the lady, but the Cow..**
When I saw it move it's hand.. [that's why I was staring at the cow and not looking at the lady] I did a double take, and as I reached out my hand to receive whatever the lady was giving me.. the cow turned around! I was shocked... And enquired with the lady.. well, my choice of words.. weren't the best...

Maybe it's because of habit..
[I tend to talk, as if I'm not a human, and as if humans are a totally different species from me... Sorry, it's a habit for me, when I go to a mall and say "Woah, so many Humans!" ]

Here's the conversation...

Lady-->"We're celebrating... '[lost to me, because I was staring at the cow]', and this is a book mark... [got my attention by pointing at said item...]"

*Cow suddenly does this cute little jump around thing...*

Me-->"Is there a HUMAN in there?"

Lady--> "Yup, it's a Human, you can take a picture with it if you want"
[Maybe she thought, I really thought that it's a cow or something..]

So, as Mel & Xian Ai were ahead.. I caught up & told them...

"It's so damn cute, and the lady says we can take a picture if we want to!"

And Mel & I, excitedly did a U-Turn to the cow and took a picture of it [as seen above] and we took this too.. -->

Guessed it was puffed up due to some cooling system I guess, when I stood next to it, i heard some fans, and it felt kind of cool.. so I guess the choice of material and all, was to keep the poor guy inside from fainting from the Malaysian heat..

What were they celebrating? International Milk Day! YUM! YUM! [I LOVE my MILK!]

It will be on the 17th of June 2008 [Tuesday] at the KL Central Station. Where all the trains meet..

Too bad I don't have any classes on Tuesdays, or I could exchange the card given to me, for a carton of milk [the small carton, I presume] and a mystery gift!
