well, first off i must tahnk Ai kun for helping me to ul all the pics haha..ありがとう愛くん！！ ok the pictures here are from the recent usaha camp that we had on the 23rd to the 25th, the post is still on the blog muahahha, and fritz sd tat i can write a book haha damn long rite the post on the usaha camp? hahah ok now enough crap n time to narrate for the pics...

this here, is kuan fei, ai kun and i chilling out in the scout den, i think this was sunday morning, early morning like 2/3am? haha, we were talking about crap la basically hhahha.... ai kun shy ... cos she hiding her face? hahahha

this was taken before we were chilling out, at 1230am on a sunday we were teaching the juniors how to march, this is me teaching them asas perbarisan.. honestly i forgot almost　three quarters of all the commands hahaha.. too bad for them lor hahahha *evil grin *

here is kuan fei and i explaining the basics of marching to the group of new juniors, well i let kuan fei explain since he had a really loud voice, after teaching 3 groups marching i was like no voice already man hahah.. must preserve my beautiful voice hahahha

this, i think was on saturday? or was it sunday? nah i think its a saturday morning, teaching the new juniors some usaha knots. which honestly again,some i forgot also haha, so simply teach la hahah.. ok ai kun will smack me ahhah... no la, just each them oni la.. so attentive ya my students? hahaha

I’m sure everyone can read the title since it’s not in Japanese haha. One of the rare titles now a days that is not in Japanese eh? Haha, well I am trying to brush up on my Japanese these holidays, and well, the easiest way to learn is by using it.

Anyway back to the title. The title is usaha camp because I just came back from one. It was a three-day camp in school, from the 23rd to the 25th of June. Almost all of you who had been active in your uniformed bodies and gone for camps surely know that, the word sleep is not associated with the word camp. Haha, but as a scouter haha, I had the privilege of coming home to have a shower and sleep in my nice soft bed before going back to school.

Well, this camp was better than the first camp, cause well I was not the camp adviser this round, so I had more freedom, and well actually the last camp would have been okay for me if it wasn’t for Tuck Loong/ TL, who kept asking me to do this and that. And well, it was like an almost one man show… So, anyway this round, TL planned everything la, so the camp adviser just had to make sure that there was security/night guard, food and equipment. Haha so it was quite simple for Kuan Fei to handle la. Poor Kuan Fei only found out about the camp 3 days before the camp, haha, I think being camp adviser is crazy la haha, only knowing about the camp a few days in advance, haha…

But anyway that is not the highlight of this post. The highlight is that I got to jump of the school building!!

Haha, no la I got to do abseiling!! Haha, the last time I abseiled as a scout, I was in form 4, I think, and that was once only. Then after that when I was in SAM I went rock climbing at the Summit. And after that, I never indulged in such activities anymore. So all in all I have only abseiled twice before the camp ahahaha…

But on Friday night, or more like Saturday morning at about 2 or was it 3 am? Haha I was abseiling down the school wall. 3 storey’s high. Cause we abseiled from the top floor. Anyway, my first time abseiling after so many years haha, there was a bit of fear, cause well, I haven’t done this activity for like such a long time, but I knew myself, after the first time I will be ok, it was just a matter of getting used to it again, haha, and anyway I wasn’t as afraid as I was the 1st time I abseiled in form 4.

(Because Ai kun and I were abseiling, haha we missed our transport home hahah TL was supposed to send us home, but he forgot about us, cause he didn’t see us as we were abseiling in block C haha, luckily Horng Yang was there to send us home haha, and apparently he missed out a bit on his football match haha… but it was still kind of him to send us home :p)

I still remembered, in form 4, I was the second one to go down, and cause I had this fear of heights, (and actually still do, but it’s not that bad anymore haha) I made Jin Ping go late for work cause I couldn’t let go of the ledge haha. Now, that I think of it, it’s funny, but during that time it was no joke, I was really damn scared, but anyway it was my first step to overcoming my fear haha.

I think that if Jin Ping still remembers my abseiling he would have been surprised if he saw me during this camp haha. So, nothing much on the first day, just walking down the wall, and watching Horn Yang, practically jumping down the wall. Gila man, he jumped from the top floor till the first floor, chun la, but to me its still dangerous haha, and anyway it was fun la.

Oh Ai kun also abseiled down also, hehe, fun right? Anyway another fun aspect of the camp was that, I got to learn new stuff, and relearn old stuff, and best of all, got to see my old seniors and chat. Horng Yang was one of them, the other one was Keng Im. Hehe, last time when we were still scouts I was quite close to her. So it was nice seeing her again, and though I was busy, I still managed to have some time to chat with her.

And well, I got to know Kuan Fei better, I think I knew him when we were still scouts, but I don’t know how old he is, so I’m not sure, but I have like this memory that I met a Mark somewhere haha, but actually his surname is Mak, haha don’t know la. I bet he also don’t remember, or I remembered wrongly la. Haha.

Anyway, that is the fun aspect of scouting, getting to know other scouts and scouters and making more friends. I dare say that I am quite friendly with some of the scouts. Hehe. Talking and joking la. I like socialising with people hehe.

Anyway oh ya, after doing abseiling, for lethargic old me, my right hand started to shake ler haha, after abseiling I went home to sleep, with leg pain and hand pains, and after about less than 3hours sleep I was back in school, in time for flag break, haha, that time, my leg was shaking la, and arm shaking cause of the muscle strain, haha, and when I first stepped into the school I was like, ok la go and watch flag break, from a far so that I can sit down, haha mana tau I had to give out badges, and giving out badges and all was with the right hand, which was the one with the muscle pain and it was the one shaking away ahhaha… to me it was amusing la, haha siew yen pass me the badges also haha, I had to quickly transfer to my more stable left hand haha. Imagine hold badge also cannot, teruk man. Shows how much I exercise haha.

Anyway, after giving out the badges, then laze around for a bit, cause the scouts were attending a lecture, then we started the test stations. My station was the orang-orang kenamaan station, haha I think it’s the hardest test, cause I hardly got anyone, and I had to catch people haha, and when I did, I had a lot of fun haha, call me sadist, but once they entered my station, they had to at least attempt to take the test for me, or if they wanted to leave they had to do ten push ups for me. I noticed something about the new juniors i.e. those that just passed their tenderfoot, that they are not willing to do push ups, if it was I; I would have just done it and got lost haha.

Well anyway the new batch are all like sissy wimps like that. When they marched up to receive their tenderfoot that time, it was totally horrible man. I was like god… really no comment. And a lot of other things la, asking them to do this and that was like a real pain.. Over protected kids already. Anyway, another thing was that I noticed that the marching standard for the troop has really fallen, I saw the seniors marching and I was like, are these people seniors? I mean there were some good ones, but most of them were crap!

Anyway, back to the test stations haha, in the beginning there was no one at my station, then suddenly so many people, I guess I was too lenient or something I tell you, there were too many that I couldn’t handle already after that, and I was like working overtime haha. Until I ate lunch late and all during the camp…

After that it was nothing much, teaching them how to tie knots, which I can’t remember, haha and all. Then the next test taking sessions I was free, so I was giving a maju standard test, and finishing up my earlier tests. Haha, free time also still busy. But there was still some fun, and I helped Ai kun a bit with her station, cause she had too many scouts asking her to take the test haha, first aid practical test, very simple only ma. Haha. And I tortured the same people that I did in the morning test taking session ahha. Ok la I’m not a sadist la hahah, joke a bit around with them la.

Then after that, had to teach them marching, walau eh, this TL change the marching commands, not all la, and some of them I forgot already, and I had to learn them all like 5 minutes before I taught… alamak… so I was a bit confused, haha Kuan Fei who was teaching the same thing also kind of confused haha, so I think we taught a few wrong things here and there haha. But oh well, haha, they will forget it anyway, keke..

Marching for them started at 1230am on Sunday morning, till 2am, so I didn’t have time to go abseiling, and just went home after the meeting to determine, which scouter was doing what test.

I took the mengibarkan bendera test station for Sunday, haha, supposedly I am quite sure footed in that area, but other than how to put up and fold the flag, the rest I forgot already haha. So sort of like simply give la haha. So Weng Fatt was helping me out la. Haha the morning test on how to set up the halangan komando I wasn’t there, cause I was still at home sleeping haha, anyway my test session was at 10am so I came for my session only la haha.

So for the flag session, it was ok. At first Weng Fatt and I had not many scouts to deal with, but suddenly only there were too many, and they kept coming in, in intervals, so it was kind of hard to teach, we only had 5 flags and 3 flagpoles, and we were giving tests, so imagine, we were swamped, the other stations had only like 3 or 2 people, so it was like insanity at my station haha. After the test it was lunch, and cleaning up, so again I was a tad free, but I had to finish up the lose ends for the tests that I was giving the day before.

And well, from then on I was quite free la. So it was ok la. After finishing up my tests, I saw the seniors playing abseiling again haha, so definitely I was in, but being the only scouter, and since Ai kun was not free, like not fun la to be the only scouter even though I was quite friendly with the seniors. So I managed to catch hold of Vincent to teman me haha, I was like telling Ai kun, “I am going to play abseiling”, then Vincent behind me was saying, “I am going to teman her to play abseiling”, haha.

This round abseiling, I tried jumping, cause well walking down only like no suspense anymore. (like yee jin said, I should try a 10 storey wall already cause 3 storeys are for amateurs haha..) That was when I realized a slight problem. Haha, although my conscious mind is unafraid of heights, well that height of 3 storeys, anymore, the subconscious mind is still afraid. So when I let go of the rope, I will automatically and subconsciously lock myself again. Resulting in me banging the wall and having bruises now haha.

So being the stubborn one that I am, I kept on trying and trying, willing my subconscious mind to let go of the rope, I succeeded a bit in my last try haha, so I guess more practise will do it, but when am I abseiling again? Haha, don’t know la keke.. Oh the last abseiling session the one I did on Sunday TL took some pictures haha, so I can post those pictures when I get them la haha..

When no body was abseiling that time, this Vincent the nutty case that he was and well I could say, still is haha, climbed up the wall back to the 3rd storey with no safety, real nuts la that fella, than Thiam Beng also tried but he didn’t climb all the way, he said he was too short to reach the ledge haha. I was helping I think seiw yen adjust her harness when I suddenly saw someone pop up over the ledge, I was like gila man, haha but these people have no fear of heights, quite good la, I would say, cause like let’s say there is an emergency, these people can escape if they are trapped. People who are scared of heights may very well just die trapped. So that’s one reason why we should always try to overcome our fears, especially those that are important in saving lives.

Anyway, back to the camp… Over all the camp was quite ok la, fun in a way, and a lot of blood vomiting over the new members, this people, for heaven’s sake, the whistle for falling in has already been blown, and you know what, they were still standing around… I was like… shouting at them, what were they still doing there, go fall in, and they started to leisurely walk… walau eh I was like run la, late already still walk, really this people, horrible man… anyway one of the few things hahah

Another thing was when Ai kun was giving a lecture on 1st aid haha, Fung Chuan helped out with the lifting the patient part haha, quite funny la that one, the volunteer was like “enough, enough let me me go” hahah he got lifted this way and that, haha fireman’s lift la, cradle lift la all sorts la.. haha

So, that’s all for the camp la, will post pictures when I can haha, my right hand is shaking again, due to yesterday’s abseiling haha, so I guess that I will go rest haha… enough typing? Aahha, abseiling is quite fun, and actually although I didn’t have much sleep in the past 3days I still could go online when I came home haha… jumping down gives more blood to the brain? Hahah joking haha

My blog seems kind of dead lately right? Haha, for a person who has so many things to say, the blog seems like it hasn’t been updated for quite some time haha. Well so first thing that I must do is apologize.

Well, I haven’t’ been posting lately because I’m always almost going out.. And this resulted in me having tons of stuff to write about but no time. And my dad scolding me also, haha and me going broke also haha…. (Socialising is only good if money grows on trees ahaha)

Anyway the title reads as watashi wa no tanjyoubi.. Which means my birthday haha

This year I had a happy birthday, one that I haven’t experience for quite some time, cause every year it's the same, that it gets monotonous and its as if birthdays have no meanings already, cause its not celebrated properly. Its just go out for dinner then come back, it’s like any usual day, and one of the main reason being that, these past few years, my birthday fell around exam period sigh, horrible. Cannot enjoy.. Sob~

But last year was quite fun, as Jin Fong, Jason, and the rest held a mini cake blowing ceremony for me a few days after my birthday haha, I blogged that before, so details are unnecessary right? Haha

Anyway for this year, my dad suddenly only asked me to ask a few friends over to the house on my birthday to celebrate together. At first I didn’t want it, cause it was so last minute, but my dad seem to like really want to have it, cause he keep asking me, so I thought “oh what the heck” since well, my dad is willing to host, and well it really was fun as my dad said it would be hehe, so ok la.

On the 19th itself I started calling a few close ones only la haha even then also I had quite a lot. So maybe you could say that it was lucky that some couldn’t make it? Haha.. So in the end the ones that showed up were Ai kun, Melissa, Xin Yin, Huey & Gene. Though Meng dropped by later.

My dad bought lots and lots of food, so looks like it will be leftovers for sometime? Haha.. Anyway we all ate till we were so damn full, like 3 months pregnant only haha, then we talk and joke and caught up with each other, asking what are you doing this and that, then I wanted to play mahjong, but the only people who knew how to play mahjong was me and Gene, and he had to leave to pick up his brother…

So we ended up playing Uno, I brought down the Uno that Nesan bought for me 5 years ago, my Harry Potter Uno haha. After Gene & Huey left then Ai kun, Mel and I played Chor Tai Tee, haha quite fun, then Meng arrived and he thought me a magic trick hehe. After that as Meng had an exam the next day, so he left after eating a slice of cake. Then the three us continued to play until the other two left. So overall it was a fun and nice birthday.

On the 20th of June, I had another dinner to celebrate my birthday haha, actually this dinner was planned by Ai kun a few days before my birthday, or was it a week? Haha, anyway I didn’t know who she was calling, she only said that she will treat me to Japanese, and that it will be the three of us, which was me, her and Mel. Who would had known, when I reached there I found out that there was a reservation for 8, although in the end it was only 7. So I found out that Ai kun had called some of my other friends la, and actually I put her in a bit of dilemma cause I called the same people that she called to come for the dinner to attend the dinner at my house the night before, this resulted in some of them not showing up. And well others had exams, the ones that came mainly all were on holiday, except Huey, hehe.

Huey came for a 2nd dinner with me hehe yea!! And well others that showed up was surprise, surprise!! Haha, Wei Hao, Nicholas Leong and Chi Ming, didn’t expect them haha, but was fun la haha. This Wei Hao really can eat man I tell you. Haha. So we ate and ate and ate, and ate hahah till so full, then all sort of nonsense and gossip going round the table. Haha I found myself in one of those rare moments gossiping along hahah, the only people that I usually gossip with is with Gene and Nicholas Leong haha, so you can guess haha, poor Mel must have been lost cause we were all talking about Taman SEA people.

So in the end we were there for a few hours and after paying the bill we walked around and then went home. Haha I talk about eating until I forgot to mention where we ate, well we ate at the Japanese buffet restaurant at BU new wing called shogun, they say Japanese but there was a fusion of Korean and Chinese food also haha, but we mostly ate Japanese. But not bad la the food haha, although all I had that day was the cake that Gene baked for my birthday but I still couldn't really eat as much haha, maybe it was because I woke up at 1pm? Haha.

Anyway the mash potato machine there was highly amusing la haha. It squirts out, yes!! I mean squirts out the liquid potato out into a cup, haha everyone must be thinking eeewwww~ haha but don worry it solidifies later and actually tasted quite ok to eat haha.

So that was about it. For the dinners I took quite a number of pictures but I will post it later when I have the chance cause I am using dail up and it’s very slow… maybe I will try some other time when I am surfing or something then I can post the pictures up haha.

Ok, before I end, on the 21st of June, just to mention, I went to KLCC with Huey to watch Fast & Furious : Tokyo drift haha, not bad, quite nice to me la, personal opinion defers, but I found it quite chun all the racing here and there, the only thing was that the character seemed like some girl crazy guy, and the girls he like all also not that pretty, they all look so old. And well for those who don’t understand Japanese, you don’t lose out much, cause there aren’t much Japanese dialogues, but it did help to know some Japanese for the show haha, cause there weren’t much subs when Japanese was being spoken. But they did sub the parts which were important for the audience to find out what was going on.

Haha anyway for me to say the show is nice, I am sure some of you guys are scratching your head, cause a person like me, who has no interest in cars, besides using it to get from place to place haha, well Yee Sin was one such person haha, he called me this morning (22nd June) woke me up but oh what the heck don’t sleep so much. Haha, and well chatted a bit la haha. When I talked about the movie he laughed la haha, since I don’t know much about cars I can only say the speeding part here and there haha, so that’s about it.

When I came back from the movie, in the night I had a scouter council meeting at Ai kun’s house haha I thought I was late, so didn’t really want to go, but in the end I was like on time, haha Malaysians really aren’t very punctual haha. Oh on the way to her house I stopped by Wen Teng’s house and I managed to borrow her yukata, so the next trip is to the tailor’s hehe… then after the meeting I had to stay up ate to finish the minutes of meeting, haha as usually 17th Petaling Boxing Kangaroo troop, always doing things last minute haha, but its not wholly our fault, getting permission is such a pain.. that’s why it’s so damn last minute.

Oh ya during the movie, Huey & I met this strange guy. Huey asked him whether she can put her drink in the holder there then he suddenly ask here whether he can take a picture with her… strange guy, like trying to pick up girls? Don’t know, I’m very suspicious of such people and don’t layan them much. Last time when I was working, my office also had such people, so I automatically go into ignore mode haha. After the movie the guy even follow us and walk out with us, wah not pai seh wan… and then ask us for our email and all.. Haha I gave him the email that is meant for spam wan haha so even if I really receive anything from him haha, it will be deleted haha, he actually asked for our Friendster also, but we told him ours was as good as dead haha.

So anyway, this kind of people, don’t need to layan la, I don’t even remember his name, some malay guy studying in UIA doing civil law, (I deduced that he is about the same age or maybe a year or two older or younger. But I think he’s younger…)
Don't know la, I only remember his name starts with Z? Zu something la.. Zuhari? Haha don’t know, don’t care la, don’t need to layan weird people like that. Call me mean, but he wasn’t even cute, if he was cute then maybe he would have been worth talking too la haha… but as always I am always suspicious of strangers, even friends of friends I don't open up that fast, but when I do haha, no stopping me right? Haha. So ok enough about the weird guy.

Errmm, while I am at it, I might as well touch a bit about the scouter council activity, which was held last 2 weeks? On the 10th of June I think. We had a BBQ, well there isn’t much to say, just that Kuan Fei organized it and I just attend only la. I helped with the cleaning up haha, and that was about it? For this event you guys will have to take a look at the pictures, (which hopefully I will upload one fine day haha) it will be easier to tell the story, but anyway it was an enjoyable event and we got to know the other scouters, and to chat with them and all. And we ate and ate and ate, I just realised this whole entry is about eating la haha. Maybe I should rename this post as “my eating spree” haha

Talking about eating spree, I mentioned in the last post that I went with Ray to watch Over the Hedge, haha that one was another eating event as he ordered a big tray of sushi and we were eating and eating again. Haha and well of course chatting and all la, the movie over the hedge was quite cute, and at first wasn’t so keen on watching an animated file having been watching anime haha but I was laughing throughout the whole way. A feel good show with cute animals running around haha. The squirrel especially was a total whacko haha.

So errmm, I think that’s about it? As usually pictures will be posted when I can get my hands on a good connection, or if I decide to attempt to do so with my connection which is highly unlikely? Haha…

Oh if Eugene is reading this, which is highly unlikely haha, one is because he’s having his exams, and two well even if he does visit I don’t know cause he never posts on the TB.. anyway Eugene, I have the Full Metal Panic OVA so now you can burn my final episode for me muahhaha.. I think I will have to either call or SMS him on this later hahah..

So I need to go practise piano, in preparation of my piano exam that I postponed.

Today is a happy day for me!! Haha, I am finally a certified first aider. It wasn’t easy, and it was a bit of physical torture for lethargic old me. But after two days, which where yesterday and today, I can now safely say that I know how to do Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation also known to most of you guys as CPR. I also know the Heimlich Manoeuvre, and well all those dressing, those kind of stuff; how to move a patient and all. Wow, I tell you it was hard work, especially when we were practising CPR.

But I am glad I went for the course, it was fun, educational, and I would say productive. Although I know some basic first aid, I do hope that I don’t need to use it haha, well as the trainer taught us, it’s better to know and not need it, then to need it and not know it. At least if anything comes up, if I can keep my cool, I can save a life.

Anyway, how did I come to go for the course? Well, it was organized by my troop, and as a scouter I got to go too, hehe, so happy, for those scouters who didn’t go, you know who you are, well, you guys, wasted this chance… too bad!! muahaha

Oh I forgot to explain the title, well it’s in katakana, and it basically reads as “banzai” which is kind of like the Japanese’s equivalent of “hurray”. And well, as stated above, you guys know what I am happy about.

Ok back to the first aid course, there were quite a number of pictures taken and well, the company, which taught us the first aid will send it to Ai kun so I have to wait for the pictures before I can post them.

The company that taught us first aid is a company called Earthwin Emergency Acadamy Sdn Bhd. As we were under student rates, we only paid a hundred a person. This is considered very cheap already. (The guy from Saint John’s who taught us a bit of first aid told us that it usually cost about 300-500 per person, and that even then, it is considered cheap, cause it can cost even more.)

I would gladly recommend this company to anyone who wants to take a first aid course, they are not bad, they really gave us a lot of hands on practical. Compared to the Saint John’s which gave me and Ai kun mostly all theory, and very little practical. Which reminds me, I went for the Saint John’s first aid course last Thursday with Ai kun, so we could very well tell the difference.

Here, we each got a dummy to practise CPR on and choking methods. And well, we really got to transport our juniors/friends the correct way a patient should be transported. And we even had a sort of “drama” where some of them were made up to look like accident victims, by this old guy we dubbed Senior Ali, cause we had two trainers named Ali haha.

Anyway senior Ali, specializes in this kind of thing, i.e. making artificial wounds, they really looked quite real you know. And well this drama thing was fun. Haha the first group that went, the “victims” were like real drama kings haha, moaning and groaning haha… very funny to watch.

The victims were Thiam Beng (TB) and Alwin, posing as road accident victims I think. Anyway, TB was posing as a victim/casualty with a neck injury, while Alwin was posing as a casualty with an open fracture at the leg. This wound didn’t really look that real to me though. The bruises and the scratches looked real though.

So it was fun to watch, at first “CPR” had to be given to TB to make him conscious, and well, haha, the both of them were like moaning and groaning for each other like some sort of gay couple, Alwin was going like “ I want TB!! Where is TB!! Oh, no!! TB!!” haha laugh man I tell you. Even after Alwin turned his head, and saw TB he still went on asking for TB haha, and the both of them even held hands and all, so it gave the first aiders a lot of difficulties in trying to move them haha.

According to one of them in the group i.e. Yee Ern, he said, those two were like adding on extra stuff to the script. Cause, it made it more difficult, as they had to separate their hands first.

Another thing that we learnt was that we had to talk reassuringly to the casualties, which was what Yee Ern was trying to do, but Alwin did not respond, and kept on asking for TB only, so Yee Ern asked him, “sir, can you speak to me?” which Alwin replied “I am speaking to you la idiot!” haha. Walaueh, damn funny la.

When it was time for them to move TB, haha this is one of the funniest as well. They couldn’t move, TB unless someone’s butt was facing Alwin’s face haha, this Alwin was like, “walaueh!” what is this, and this Vincent kept pushing his face to the junior’s butt. Haha.. Joker la this people. This was the funniest batch la haha.

Ok, the 2nd group was mine, and Ai kun and our junior Sook Ping (SP) acted as the victims. I later found out from the both of them that, they were supposed to be cooking casualties. Where apparently the gas stove blew up, resulting in SP falling down on her elbow, and glass shards to embed into her skin, whereas Ai kun was surprised by the blast, and as she was cutting some stuff, she accidentally cut off her finger.

My group expected two casualties, so we arranged that I as leader would take the more serious case and Michelle as assistant, the less serious one. We had no idea, before and during the “drama” what was in store for us, but had to find out on the spot.

Upon entering the room, SP injuries looked more serious than Ai kun’s, cause she had a broken bone and a glass shard embedded in her hand, so I dealt with her. I let the juniors tend to Ai kun who looked like she had only a light scratch on her right arm. While I was busy tending to SP, and her broken arm, which at that time I had no idea how to tie properly to the support, having fallen half asleep when they were teaching us how to tie it haha, I left that to my juniors to do muahaha.. Don’t worry, I think I remember how to tie now haha.. :p

Anyway, as my junior and I were tending to SP, this Ai kun suddenly detached her own “finger” haha, we didn’t realize that there was an “injury” there, cause well, with real injuries they bleed, but this one is fake so there was no bleeding, and the “finger” was in fact still attached to her hand.

So, when Ai kun realized that we didn’t realise the wound, she used the other hand to flick that finger off. At that moment there was like a split second of silence, as everyone followed the flying “thing” when it landed, we were like what’s that? Haha, then we realize it was supposed to be a “finger” and well we got down to work la. Joker la, it was like a split second of silence, like slow motion in a movie haha.

Ok, the third and final casualties. The third one was an electrocution, Vincent was sitting in a corner of the room with a toy hairdryer, and acting like he got electrocuted, his hand which was holding the hairdryer, suffered, from the looks of it, it was only first degree burns.

Anyway, the first two cases were in the middle of the room, so my juniors expected the victims to be in the centre of the room, only to look at the side in shock when they were entering and springing into action. Haha the look of surprise on their face haha, anyway, they turned off the switch, and started CPR cause apparently the electrocution, rendered Vincent unable to breathe.

After that, they tended to his burns. While tending to Vincent, Zong Liang (ZL) suddenly walked past, asking where is Vincent and just “fainted”, haha. The second look of surprise on their face haha, funny! Then it was some slight chaos as some of them tended to ZL. Theirs wasn’t that much chaos, as both their victims were unconscious. So the only thing funny about their was the surprised look on their face.

A few things that we learnt from the drama, was that, well, in real situations it tends to get very chaotic, and sometime you are just not sure whether you are doing things right, cause the casualty keeps screaming in pain. (Unfortunately for the casualty, they will have to bear with the pain as its part and parcel of treatment. Evern we first aiders can’t do anything about the pain.) And well, you will just have to find whatever you have at hand to treat the victims. We didn’t have a first aid box, but all the bandages and pieces of woods to act as splints were nearby. So we just used those, but in real situations, whatever we have in hand will have to be used.

Another thing was that, sometimes we have to move the victim in order to treat him, in Vincent’s case, they didn’t move him from the corner, but treated him while still in the corner, which was wrong, cause how are they all going to fit inside that small corner to give him first aid.

Anyway, I guess that’s all for now. I have quite a number of unwritten posts, as I have been busy, going out here and there, and watching Erementar Gerad. Not bad that anime, quite nice also haha.

Well, future posts to come? Let’s see, about the scouter council BBQ on the 10th of June/Saturday, err, dinner and the movie Over The Hedge with Ray on the 12th of June/Monday. Err, last week, can’t remember the exact date, went to Petaling Street with Huey, Cloth shopping for yukata. That one aiya, I just add in here la, we have the same design, different colour cloth, mine blue hers pink, very sweet design. Now just have to wait for one weekend when huey, gene and I am all free, then we look for wen teng to borrow her yukata.

Err, that’s about it I think, I can only think of these few at the moment. Though I think I need to post my nephew’s pictures, law society dinner, alumni dinner… crap, I kept going out, and now I have so many posts to type up.. ahhh, feeling lazy la… to many things to write about.. and my internet conncetion is sucky, if not I can post all the pictures one shot, don need to talk to much.

Anyway, that’s all for now, got to go take my shower then have dinner. Ja ne

ok, these are the counsels, with Ai kun and Kenny, who came to support us. ai kun is the mooting society's secretary, so she had to run around abit haha, i was her assistant, but since i am counsel hahah....
