Title is katakana to read “apodeito” which is supposed to sound like “update”. So meaning this post is titled update…

Lately I haven’t been blogging.. Why? Cause well I just didn’t have the mood to blog.. But anyway.. Since I keep the blog as a kind of personal online diary which I share with everyone haha.. So I guess that I will let my kowai nesan (poor elder sister) know what I have been up to lately..

So what have I been up to lately? Errmm well..

On the 15th of July I went for the bon odori, which is the Japanese festival held yearly at the matsuhita stadium. This year I wore a yukata haha.. will post pictures later though… when I have a good connection, don’t want to trouble Ai kun ler.. cause she’s working, and well very busy with scout stuff…

Anyway I went for the bon odori, with mostly my old school mates.. And well the old bunch of us ler.. And well Melissa’s friends, Terence and his classmate suki. Everyone met up at my house and we headed to Gene’s house.

Wah I tell you, my house was like a tea house, everyone eating only, personally I found suki kind of rude to just go and raid my fridge and all, at least Terence came up to ask for permission haha and Terence was so nice, he washed all the dishes hehe.. good candidate for potential househusband hehe :p

Oh old bunch of people include, huey, ccy, Ai kun, ahh damn I will just name every one.. besides those 6 already mentioned, there was nick leong, wah jiang and lee ming, Melissa’ friends which I cant remember their names except for Amanda… we had 4 cars haha, not including Gene and his friends.. as gene was still lengahing there with his friend we all left first for the festival..

Haha really joker, huey forgot her camera, and well as ccy was leading the way tat time all 3 cars followed him to huey’s house, we were like, “eh why are we stopping here?” haha then I realized that we were at huey’s house, had a real good laugh ler haha

Sob this year I didn’t participate in all 3 dances… oh well was too busy eating.. errmm rowan was supposed to go but he FFK and I was having too much fun tat I forgot about him until after we were about to leave the festival :p haha, so I don’t really have the right to scold him ler…

After bon odori we went yum cha, in our yukatas haha, who went ar? Well gene, nick leong, wah jiang, lee ming, Ai kun, huey, ccy, Melissa, and well of course me. But tell you all the truth, if I can help it, I won’t want to yum cha with wah jiang and lee ming. Why?! Cause well, they smoke like chimneys!! And well, most of you guys know that I’m allergic to cigarette smoke, so I ended up coughing like a donkey, and with a headache which lasted the whole of the next day also.. ==

Oh, on the same day in the morning well late morning, I went to Eugene’s house and finally got my full metal panic last episode burnt, yes!! And well I played with his sister’s hamster, kawaii hehe

21st July: held a small farewell for Rowie aka Rowan aka yellowraisin aka.. ka_u ahhah he knows what letter to fill into the blank ler haha ok ler not that bad ler he’s much better liao :) ok, so went to Omitsu Koshi near atria that one, most of you all should know where it is cause every time I organize something and it’s Japanese food I always like to go there, I also don’t know why, haha convenient cause it’s near?

After dinner we went to ming tien to yum cha, who went for yum cha ar? Wait, I didn’t even mention who went for the dinner haha, ok those that went for dinner was, of course rowan, and ro ar.. that can’t be counted as my farewell also ler, where got people organise their own farewell wan? That’s like too much man, shows what kind of friends I have if I have to organize my own farewell la. Not scolding you ler, just letting it out of my system haha Anyway back to the guest list, rowan, me, gene, nick leong, ccy, and meng. For yum cha, meng left already.

Yes I know I was the only girl, cause huey was suppose to go also, but on that day itself she go and sms me telling me she has other things to do, then meng said he will bring Joanna but last minute she suddenly went to Penang, anyway it’s not like it’s anything, I grew up with boys, and all, and this guys are all nice guys, rowan said I lost weight ahhah, err sorry don’t know where that came from haha, but is he implying that I was fat last time? Hmmm~ haha..

anyway.. after yum cha at ming tien we went to dota. My first time at the game. We went to SS2 cyber to play, of course must choose a non smoking place ma haha, anyway I don’t know the place name, but we got a spot in the non smoking section, not bad, really non smoking, not much cigarette smoke smell. So anyway people who went for dota? Well, we were joined by Dexter, his friend, and gene’s ototo (younger brother).

Too much! In the first game, I haven’t even learnt the controls yet, have to play.. celaka, playing and learning.. well was still fun ler, sat in between ccy and ro, and ccy was my sensei hehe, so I stuck to him throughout the whole “battle” haha, first game was more fun I would say, I kept on attacking only not scared to die, and well ccy would control my hero half the time, so haha can say not bad, but poor ccy have to control 2 characters, make him can’t enjoy the game, so after the 1st game, he “train” me, a short one, how to use the controls and all. I was trained to use the “Queen of Pain” yes I know what my siblings plus meng and gene will say… ==

2nd round, I partner with rowan, who just kept running away ler hehe… everyone had access to my hero, so they can “blink” i.e. teleport me anywhere, anytime, imagine half way I playing suddenly I’m not in control haha, but it was fun, protected by both ro and ccy, nice feeling to be protected, haha but this gene too much, knows its me still go and kill me, so I take revenge haha…

had too much fun till I exceeded my curfew and only came home around 2am.. this rowan was apparently scared that either I kena killed by my parents or he kena killed haha, he didn’t even wait for me to enter my house and cabut already, apa ler, when I asked him why he did that he said scared my dad come out with a shot gun, real joker la that fella haha

22nd -23rd July/ Saturday & Sunday: Oh I was abandoned… ok la don say until so teruk like that.. haha.. my parents went to Ipoh, and well left me here to fend for myself haha on the condition that Ai kun stayed overnight with me, but Ai kun went for BBBSS campfire and came late.. That well they complained a bit.. But I was like, actually I didn’t really need a friend to come over.. Although I can’t drive but I have nice friends who do, and can teman me for dinner.. if they are not free as long as there are stuff in the house I can cook… or I can go out and ta pau haha.. I can take care of myself ma.. wanted to ask meng to teman me for dinner, but that fellow had to go out with family and later yum cha with rowan. So then I wanted to ask rowan to come over n play mahjong after his yum cha with meng, but that fella, lazy.. Sigh and I was hoping for some supper… :p

oh meng asked me why I didn’t ask Ro when I called him to tell him looks like no mahjong cause Gene says he’s busy, then I also think, think, ya hor? Why didn’t I? Maybe next time la, if there is, cause he’s leaving on august 16th liao… :p

So anyway Ai kun came about 11pm when I was online with ccy, then we chat a bit n went to bed ler… then the next morning Ai kun, ccy and I went out for dim sum near my house, my god.. I know I live in Tmn Mgh but heck, I didn’t know that the dim sum had an upstairs..

After Dim Sum Ai kun had to leave, so early: 930 am only, cause her sister wanted to go to the Curve, so in the end, ccy and I hung out with each other the rest of the morning, he went home to get his laptop so that we can steal songs from each other, haha, and quite a lot we exchanged, and he helped me convert the windstruck wma files to mp3, then we played computer games, haha both of us like two bakas there, playing nanosaur 2 on my computer, at first we didn’t know how to play, so we simply play only, then finally we realized how to play, by that time we played for I think an hour plus liao, two jokers there hhaha. After that my parents came home and he left ler, no need teman already ma, then went out for dinner, I drove to SS3 muahaha.. and my paternal grandma came down.

By the way ccy, I figured out that if we blast the statue that look like the eye that one, the gate opens and we can fly through to collect more eggs haha

24th July: Parents abandoned me to my dinner again haha no ler… they went back to my hometown for the day to send my granma back and well to settle some bank stuff back there lor, then well they didn’t expect to take so long, and ended up that they were only done in the evening, which was jam time, cause it’s a Monday after all, so they told me to settle dinner by myself, so what did I do?

Jeng, jeng, jeng haha drum roll…I did…. *suspense* haha ok ler.. all I did was… I just asked ccy to teman me to dinner, cause when we were having dim sum yesterday he said that he wanted to eat bak kut teh. And being the joker that I am, when he came to pick me up, I totally forgot that I wanted to tell him that we go eat bak kut teh, so two jokers thinking of a place which is not jam at 630pm on a Monday, and we taught of DU, DJ, KJ, Tmn Mgh, and all lor, SS2 was out, cause sure jam. We went near Giant at KJ to eat vegetarian food, but it wasn’t open yet, so we went to Kayu Ara, or is it Kampung Ara? Haha ccy correct me.. anyway, we went to pantai seafood restaurant to makan, order 3 dishes, mana tau can’t finish and had to da pau the chicken, and bring home for his cat and my dog, who would have know, poor baby, didn’t feel well, chicken also don’t want to eat, sigh poor baby. So that was the end of the day with my parents coming back from bentong. Eh that restaurant damn expensive leh, 2 people eat also cost RM50 lioa… and we only had Kai Lan, Pork and Chicken leh…. Too much but quite ok ler.

Oh I only remembered that I wanted to eat bak kut teh when we had finish eating liao haha, that’s me for you guys ler haha, always so blur and forgetful :p

What else.. July 27th : well nick leong has been coming over quite frequently lately, so I took the chance to steal some songs from him today ahhah… he comes over mostly on Thursdays, and well twice liao, i think last week, or was it last two week, then today also came over…. And well curi a lot of songs, went to secret recipe to makan cake, oh nisan and nesan, remember mei mei? She’s working there part time haha, at the secret recipe in tmn mgh, baru open wan :p

So thanks nick, save me a lot of time and money to download all those songs :)


So that’s all la, a compilation of my whole week’s activities has already taken up 4 pages on words haha, will blog again when I have the mood ler, lately feel a little depressed, reasons? If you can figure it out please do tell me…. ==

On a lighter note, I discovered a new short cut key for my laptop haha, apple key and the space bar allows me to change the language to Japanese, faster than having to click here and there haha.. since I use Japanese quite often to type on the blog haha.. and well holding shift or pressing caps lock and typing in Japanese makes it turn to katakana.. so convenient haha so that’s all lor for now ler..

Here’s something that I came across when tiding my room.. As far as I know, none of my form three classmates reads this blog haha but oh what the hell.. In form 3 last time we had a choral speaking competition, it was interclass. And well I got this script from Nicholas Seoh, whether he wrote it himself or got it from somewhere, I don’t know.

But anyway this is the untouched version haha, the real version that we performed had too many sarcastic remarks in it, so I removed them. Anyway, this teaches us to appreciate nature. So think twice before you litter, doesn’t mean that since everyone is littering you should too..

seaparkians, remember the starfish story? It’s on the Samudra, forgot what year though, anyway the principle from that story is “one is all it takes to make a difference”, those who are not seaparkians, if you would like the starfish story I would b happy to type it up for you guys when I’m free..

we all recieve alot of stuff through our mail, and i noe alot of ppl have received the slow dance poem before, like me i hv recieved it countless of times, but no matter how many times i recieve it, when i read it again, i feel something stir in me, though it's oni a little but hey it's a touching poem, slow down, don't dance so fast :)

to me the poem translates as saying tat, we hv to take life one step at a time and don't rush, we have to make time for our family & frens, and we do hv to call ppl up once in awhile to communicate, relationships are about communication neway hahah, and well don't always break promises, and always delay promises.. hahah this especially applies to a certain someone, and well a bit to some ppl hahha...(guess it applies to me in some way too? hahha) when u make a promise to somebody don't just conveniently forget it, or indulge urself in other businesses till u forget ur other frens, anyway... tat fella doen'st come here anymore, so no point me saying to much here hahah...
