28 Nichi 1 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Doyobi
Went back to my hometown for the reunion dinner. Wasn’t much of a jam until after the toll when we turn into Bentong, as there were many cars heading to Kuantan and Raub using the connecting highway through Bentong. Went to Dai Ok (big house in Cantonese) for dinner. After dinner, went back to Sg. Marong. And well, for me there is usually nothing to do so I went to bed early. My cousins on my paternal side are all small kids, and my uncles and aunties don’t play mahjong. So it was boring. And this year, we didn’t stay up to welcome the got of wealth, cause my grandma was lazy.
29 Nichi 1 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Nichiyobi
It’s Chinese New Year!! My kaki on my maternal side are not back yet, so I am still bored. Collected angpows from my paternal relatives. Had a vegetarian breakfast/brunch as usual. Then lazed about and headed over to my maternal grandma side. Nothing much to do there, so I mopped around. The kids there were also moping around. (They were much younger than me, so I don’t get along with kids who keep their noses stuck in their gameboys etc and who act like spoilt kids…. )
Nothing on Astro except the anime version of The Legend Of The Condor Heroes, in Cantonese. For an anime addict who could watch anime for hours non-stop, I couldn’t tahan this one. Why? Cause well it wasn’t in Japanese and I didn’t watch the beginning, so I had no idea what was going on, and I already roughly know the story, besides it was showing from 11am till 4pm. So, around 1pm after lunch I played mahjong with my uncles and aunties. Horrible. Lost like what 2 games? Or was it three….
Had dinner.. forgot where.. but I guess it was with the paternal side?
After dinner the family went home and watched a DVD, yup! Someone bought a DVD player, heard it was man suk, but I don’t know la. Forgot what show they were watching, Jurassic Park3, if I remember correctly. Something I watched already. So I was outside SMS-ing CNY wishes to people. Until the children came out and started playing, so I went in, watched the ending of the show, and went to bed.
30 Nichi 1 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Getsuyobi
The 2nd day of Chinese New Year, and I am still bored. My kakis are apparently coming back at late noon or something. Played mahjong with my uncles and aunts again. Lost again!! What the… My uncle sik wu with 4 feis!! Anyway this year isn’t my lucky year. Lost another 2 rounds. We bet 5 bucks and I lost 5 everytime. Sheesh. But anyway learnt some new things and how to count the points as well. Moped around after that.
And I kind of forgot what happened after that. The days all seem the same when you are bored with nothing to do.
As my aunt on my dad side was back (I think… as I said I am no longer sure of the days…) we had dinner with the paternal side at the restaurant next to the crystal hotel there, horrible man. Air-conditioned place and people were smoking like nobody’s business. As some of you guys may know I am allergic to cigarette smoke, and in no time due to the air condensed with cigarette smoke I couldn’t breath and had to go out or risked suffocating.
Even the bee sting last year on the 28th of May 2006, (we had a test camp for the campfire then, and I got stung when trying to tie my hair, a bee was stuck in my hair.) which seemed to have helped in my allergy seemed to have been reversed. My condition is; if not the same, worse than last time.
I got fed up and told a waitress to tell those people off for smoking. But heck, so many people there were smoking, so well although the table next door was no longer smoking the air was still saturated. Either than that the food was fine.
I don’t think my cousins came back? Cause I drank a can of beer and a huge glass of wine after dinner.. wouldn’t do that unless I was bored right? Was slightly drunk you could say? Don’t know but I hit the bed quite hard hahhah…
31 Nichi 1 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Kayobi
3rd day of CNY. I remember now. My kaki langs all came back, but in the late afternoon almost evening like that. So I spent the whole day moping around. Had a stomachache in the morning so I was just lifelessly sleeping here and there. It was so damn hot!! Played another game of mahjong!! That makes 5 games! And I lost everything in all 5!! Each time I play, I lose. So.. Ok, that’s enough. No more gambling in mahjong…
Lazed the day away, after that, watching the elders play, so I could pick up so new tricks and all. Didn’t really talk to my kaki langs also…. Felt like I had no energy due to the heat. So slept in the air-con room, then Ben joined in, followed by Fiona.. So we slept till dinner time…
Had dinner somewhere, can’t remember with which side. Maternal gua… lazed about and went back to paternal side where they were watching Lord of The Rings, don’t know which one.. The Two Towers I think. Joined them. Watched till about 1-2am then hit the sack.
1 Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Suiyobi
BORING!!! . Got pissed at my mum, dai kau fu, kong chi yi and ching yi. Play mahjong until everything also don’t bother. I think they knew I was pissed. Cause after that game they stopped already.
I brought the dog for a walk. I was so pissed at my mum that I wouldn’t let her touch the dog. I wanted her to look after the dog while I took a bath, cause kong chi yi’s two dogs were running around and my dog is afraid of them cause they were bigger sized then him.
And this kong chi yi was saying things like just throw him away la, this dai kau fu said chop him la etc. call me sensitive, but hell my mood was bad already plus this comments on my dogs. If it was not for kong chi yi’s stupid dogs I wouldn’t need to bother. And they know I treat my dog like my son.. Man, how would you like it if I asked you to go chop up your own children.
Anyway was really pissed. After my bath did a tarot reading for yen ling and yen ping. Yen ling said that it was somewhat accurate. In the sense that it answered her question, in some way. I predicted that she would have a windfall, and she really did, she won everyone at mahjong haha.
Yen Ping, I think she was just trying to be nice, and said that it was very accurate. (On the other hand, from the cards that I placed, I could tell that she was asking a question on love kekekke) But those cards are not very accurate it’s just for playing around one la. Its power is not very strong. Besides the interpretation in the book isn’t clear either.
Later my dai kau fu treated me to western food kekek sirloin steak… Ben and Yen Ling accompanied me along. So we chatted with another cousin. Bei Shan, dai kau fu’s daughter. And it was ok la.
After dinner, went back to paternal side and watched The Return of the King? Can’t remember it was LOTR though. Then hit the sack. Chatted a bit with Kah Kit and Kah Hao before that.
2 Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Mokuyobi
At this rate… someone just kill me, the heat and boredom is torturous. Lazed about. Watched some TV i.e. Astro..
Well, ermm, ate all the junk food and drank all those soft drinks. Ermm played mahjong without gambling, ermm.. I think played one game with money and that’s why 30 bucks was lost.. I can’t remember. Most likely lazed the day away.
Yen ling and yen ping went back to KL, (I think they went back the day before, not on this day.. *sweats* really mixed up the days) while Ben and Fiona stayed back cause it looked like their dog was going to give birth.(I think they were supposed to leave the day before also… aiih I don’t know la.. I am confused myself…I only remembered that I came back to PJ on a Friday which has to be the 3rd cause on the 4th I went to bai lin..)
Talking about her dogs. They tried to disturb my dog when my mood was still badthe day before, and I stared them down. So ever since they were nice to my dog and scared of me liao hahaha
Went back to paternal side. As most of them had gone back down to KL the DVD player was mine. I had brought back Full moon wo Sagashite. So I watched till 3am then went to bed.
Looks like I love both shoujo and shounen types of anime, and am ok with shounen/shoujo ai and yaoi/yuri. Kekeke..
Ka san wanted to leave bentong around late afternoon and come back down to PJ. And honestly I was in for it too as Ben and Fiona had also left.. It was boring.
The only exciting thing was that kong chi yi’s dog gave birth to 3 live puppies one deformed one and one dead one. Errmm that’s about it.
Watched my full moon wo sagashite in the morning till kasan and tosan came back from golf, changed and went over to maternal to see the puppies.
In the end we procrastinated till it was evening, so it was like pointless to go down cause it will be late, and furthermore there was fear of a jam. So we stayed another night.
Spending so many Chinese new years in Bentong has taught me that I would be bored haha so smart me brought back my anime to watch. So I had no issue about staying back in Bentong. Kasan gave in though. So I spent the night watching my full moon wo sagashite. (Hey, it’s 52 episodes la, that’s why took me so long. And the vcd player at my maternal’s house is not working properly, the lens is dirty so it couldn’t read the disc properly, and I spend the whole day there so only at night I can watch my anime la.. ceh.. nesan teba….)
So there went another boring day…
This year kind of disappointed lor.. The paternal side didn’t take the usual annual picture.. and next eyar I won’t be around.. sigh..
3 Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Kinyobi
Came back from bentong, finally. Wanted to bake cookies…. But we came back in the afternoon and were quite lazy so we lazed about. I continued my Full moon wo sagashite till dinner time, and went out for dinner, then we went to Gaint KJ for a walk. On our return home I continued my anime, and finished it. Watched the last disc twice, cause it’s nice hehhe
Was actually waiting for kean sheng to call cause he’s the potential transport minister for tomorrow’s bai lin, but he didn’t call.. Most likely he left his phone at home again.. And most likely he’s not going la….
4 Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Doyobi
Slept late as stated above… I finally finished my anime. Wow I love the show man. The songs were mostly performed by a band called Changin’ My Life. I shall write a review on the anime soon, and ermm maybe I can post that with an uploaded song from the show… unfortunately my favourite song (Eternal snow : Route L version) is more than 5Mb so I can’t upload it… so sad..
Well, today after breakfast/brunch I went to bai lin at Tuck Loong’s house. It was kind of like a scouter thing, so it was all scouters there. (And some energetic scouts who did a 10KM hike there.. ) TL came to pick us (me, Ai kun and Jun Ren, my junior of 2years…) up at Ai kun’s house. We actually thought that we would stay only an hour there, but who knew that we would have so much fun, that we stayed for almost 4 hours. TL has a foozeball table (did I spell it right?) and we played that. 1st time playing ahhah .. I score in my own goal wan hahaha..
Oh I also learnt how to play bridge.. Haha I think I have potential in it, haha cause the second round I managed to fool everyone, TL thought I was his partner when I was actually JR’s partner, and helped me win hahaha.. They didn’t know that I was the partner until at about the end there, where I placed down the calling card, which indicated that I was the partner kekeke.
So we went to TL’s house at about 2 something and left at 6.30. TL’s driving is worse than Fung Chuan, he doesn’t use the break wan, especially when turning…
So after TL’s house we had another house to go to, which was Pui Ling’s house, which was in Sri Kembangan. So at about 7 something, Ai kun’s jamboree friends came to pick us up and we went there.. The directions that PL gave was quite.. ermm interesting hahha.. But no harm, we weren’t hopelessly lost.
Well, the open house.. Or should I call it a party ar? At the rate it was, a lot of old Seaparkians, mostly seniors, well, I was initially a little bored and out of place, cause this people were all talking about jamboree, but I managed some small talk with some of the old seniors, and Ai kun’s friends. Wanted to play mahjong, but I wasn’t familiar with her 3 people set. And surprise, surprise. Some people that I know, ie Nicholas Leong’s gang showed up. Apparently Kok Seng is PL’s brother. I didn’t know that hahaha.. So anyway had some temans for a while… so you could say that I was bored on and off la.
After that played some card games with Ai kun’s jamboree friends. We played all sorts la, chor tai tee, some guessing game wan, and the best, bluff.. We had so much fun playing bluff that we didn’t want to go home hahaha. Anyway, when we were about to leave the jamboree people decided to have a private photo shoot of theirs hahaha. Luckily the seniors that came Malaysian style, ie late, were the ones that I talk to. So I chatted while waiting for Ai kun and helped the jamboree gang take a few. And after that it was home.
5 Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Nichiyobi
Lazed about again, nothing to do, so boring. Downloaded full moon wo sagashite songs today actually. I mean night hahaha… or was it the night before, ahh my time is screwed, downloaded some last night and some today evening when I was online talking to nesan and at night so I slept late. Got class tomorrow so went to bed…
No mood also, cause argued with parents..
6Nichi 2 Gatsu 2006 Nen : Getsuyobi
Eugene is down with a high fever and sore throat, so I had to take the Putraline to college. Was quite okay, talked to Ai kun bout the new HP my nichan sent home through a friend, and my small argument with my parents the night before. I wanted to go for the 2007 world scout jamboree, and as finances are low so my mum was pissed and both my parents said things that hurt my feelings la.. So anyway that was how it was..
After class, which was only C&A with Mr Joseph, who gave ang pau again this year. Came home, then Mich came over and we went out for lunch at a restaurant called Kopitiam in SS2 with my dad. Then came back to my house, and chatted. I did 3 tarot readings for her, and hahaha, well, she’s a confused person, or so say the cards hahaha.. I did one for nesan too, but that is private la hahaha…
Later, we played the game that Wei Hao sent me. He sent it on the day of the post before this one. It’s some UFO game la. So Mich and I played around with it, since we don’t know what this or that was for hahaha.. Quite fun to play with her, and the game was well, a little mundane, cause well I am a CGI person. And well there was no music.. But it was ok la.. I think if I were to play it alone I would get bored easily. Need someone to sit next to me and play together? Kekeke
Just SMSed Wei Hao on how to do certain stuff on the game like, how to collect the artefacts and all. Interesting game to play when you really have nothing to do. But beware the beginner’s level. You call that beginner’s level? Suddenly only 5 UFOs came out in one shot and shot down all my interceptors (my war planes la).
Hahah naming the bases were fun. The first game I named them Kira Takuto(character from Full moon wo sagashite), Asuran Zala (Gundam SEED) and another name I forgot.
The 2nd game the bases were named by Mich. Malaysia, Queen Cindy, KS in Africa and full moon bay. Haha that game lasted quite long. Mich is good, she strategically placed the bases that, whenever there is a UFO attack, Queen Cindy and KS in Africa and Malaysia could help each other out. And Full moon bay and Malaysia can help each other out. In the end that was the area in which the UFOs appeared 5 one shot and shot down all my interceptors…
Fun game.. =) we were okay with the flying UFOs but committed kamikaze without fail every time we had to fight on land.. We don’t know how to use our soldiers hahaha.
Anyway after that I drove her home… keke, scary for me man hahah but I made it anyway hahah..
So.. Anyway now I need to look for some JUST youth programme pictures for the law news letter and also.. This is kind of long already, it’s 7 pages on words. So till next time, if you managed to keep your eyes that is hahaha..
