十六日ハ月二００六年：水よ日

The title just reads as sayounara Rowan kun. Today is the 16th of August and he’s flying off to California, which has a 15 hours time difference. Sigh, Michigan is 12 hours and its so hard to msn with ccy, what more ro… = =

Another friend gone, another one leaving on the 1st of September (which is yee sin, going to Leeds, UK), and ccy is leaving for Michigan on the 2nd of September. Sigh, all my kawan baik all gone and going :-(

Anyway, broadband era haha, when I go to UK the time difference shouldn’t be that big, than can chat with everyone haha, and can nag, and there is email after all. Haha though knowing ro, he’s not as crappy as me haha so if email also I will be the one writing a novella for him and getting a few lines of reply haha… sin ar.. he will be too busy to email? But Leeds not far from Reading, when I want snow, I shall go crash him muahaha…

So, ok makes me sound depressed with this 3 guys gone and going, errmm update? Haha… when was the last time I updated? Hmmm~ got to go check haha…

Oh I remembered, the last time I posted was on gene’s birthday, wah, 2 weeks I never blog? Walau eh… too busy laio haha… anyway this gene so damn busy pak toh, don’t layan me, my anime still with him, don’t know whether he got his container back from ro or not? Haha his problem la, ro left liao haha… my anime just have to get back before the 29th of September can liao haha..

So ok what have I been up too, before I continue… just to mention, that I got complaints from people that my posts are too long?

Haha, too bad la you all, if you care about me, you will just have to read, this is me la, so you just have to accept me, not like you guys know me for the first time haha, you should know that I talk a lot so, I type a lot too haha… remember, love me, love my dog, look up this proverb haha… ok… back to the main agenda…

Errmmm 5th August was the last time I blogged, so what have I been doing after that… crap. Two weeks already can’t really remember…

For ro, I purposely put the dates and all in Chinese so that you will not forget your hard learned Chinese haha, but first you need to install the language thing like ccy taught you, or you won’t be able to see the characters, so anyway let me teach you first.

Whoever who wants to learn, read on too haha I will do my best to impart my teachings haha, ok that was lame, oh well… haha

Ro, the one to ten you should know already, so I will teach you the other ones, 日 means “day” pronounced as “re” in mandarin, “yat” in Cantonese and “nichi” in Japanese.

月means “ moon” or is also used to mean “month” , pronounced as “yue” in mandarin, “yuet” in Cantonese and “tsuki” or “gatsu” or “getsu” in Japanese.

Not my fault the japanese got so many pronunciation for the same word = = but for indicating the month we use “gatsu”

So when I put 十九日六月 it reads as “sher jiu re liu ye” in mandarin (ccy correct me if my han yin pin yin is wrong = =) in cantonese, it’s “sap gau yat luk yuet”. (not too sure about the Cantonese han yin pin yin also = = ) in Japanese it’s read as “jyuu kyuu nichi, roku gatsu”

simple haha, I doubt you will bother also = = I didn’t teach you one to ten in Japanese some more… I think you also lazy to learn la, if you are not then I can teach ler :p

errmm after the date I put “:” the words after that is to indicate the days of the week.

Notice that there are 3 characters and only the first one is changed. (This I will teach you in Japanese only la.) the thing to note is that the first character changes with the days of the week but the last two i.e. the よ日 does not change, those two characters reads as “yobi” not sure what it means, so I will give you the days of the week haha.. damn this post becoming too long cause I’m teaching Japanese here, crap, free Japanese lesson which nobody who reads this bothering to learn.. sigh = = anyway just in case…. for those who bother… read on….

Please bear in mind that the Japanese have a few ways to pronounce the same words, but I am only teaching the ones relevant to the days of the week, if I were to explain everything you might as well buy a book, or I should write one. = =

Sunday = 日よ日　= nichi yobi (already taught you what does nichi means)
Monday = 月よ日　= getsu yobi (already taught you getsu also.. for saying the days of the week we use getsu, for a refresher, we use gatsu to indicate the month of the year)
Tuesday = 火よ日　= ka yobi (ka means fire)
Wednesday = 水よ日　= sui yobi (sui means water)
Thursday = 木よ日　= moku yobi (moku means wood)
Friday = 金よ日　= kin yobi (kin means gold)
Saturday = 土よ日　= do yobi (do means earth)

Notice that the days of the week are all elements, except for Sunday and Monday haha, so that concludes today’s lesson on the days of the week, and how to read the dates on my blog haha…

So let’s get down to the monkey business that I have been up to the whole past two weeks hehe..

十日ハ月:木よ日 – today, nothing much went on, Nicholas Leong came over, so I borrowed some anime from him to watch during September, and also took some music files from him and all, went out to eat, mamak haha, suddenly decided to eat mamak, near my house that one, then after that, I had piano class, after piano class it was a small farewell that I held for sin, who’s leaving for Leeds, started calling people the day before? Or was it on that day itself? I think I started calling people on the day before haha, so we were suppose to eat bak kut teh near my house at 7pm, everyone was late sigh = =

but who would have known, the bak kut teh wasn’t open so, we switched to ming tien, ccy was the earliest, apparently he was there at bout 7, which I believe, he’s the most punctual of the lot haha, and was looking for the place to eat, so went to ming tien, and sin, came after that, followed by ro, who wasn’t as tardy as usual haha, he was still tardy, but not that tardy, and he did tell me that he would be late haha that’s good improvement hehe :p Eugene was the latest, cause he taught my Malaysian time is really Malaysian time, but I am quite the punctual Malaysian, I am at the most 30minutes late for certain things so I’m no tardy Malaysian haha…

so to make it clearer those who were there at ming tien for sin’s farewell was, ccy, me, ro, sin, and Eugene, small group only la. And well, if I had held it in an expensive place like usual, like you know the usual Japanese restaurant it’s a 100% chance that Eugene won’t show haha… sigh.. I forgot camera and ccy forgot to take pictures even though he brought his…

so we sat there and chat, and only sin, ccy and I ate, cause ro and Eugene ate already, ccy and I was playing with this cute black cat haha, I never mentioned before right? Haha I always wanted a black cat and name it midnight haha, read too much storybooks liao haha…

So talk and talk till I forgot about my change, that’s one hell of an expensive clay pot rice, swindler!! People, boycott that jackass clay pot rice seller in ming tien, he’s not honest, this is not defamation, cause it’s true… ass of the man, may he burn, rot… errr.. Anyway, don’t be so evil la haha it’s partially my fault also.. = =

So after dinner, Eugene and sin left, it was actually sin’s dad’s birthday, awww.. From the ten thousand million times that I ask him to go out with us, this is the first time, and he did it on his dad’s birthday haha.. ok la won’t be so mean la.. Thanks sin for making time for us la. After the like 10,000 millionth time or something haha.. (I never change muaahahha) Anyway see you on the 26th la, for the 2nd farewell haha..

Well, after dinner, minus those 2 still have 3 more people right? Haha well do the maths, genius and you will get me, ccy and ro. So… what did we do?

Muahahaha we finally had our long awaited mahjong!!! Haha, asking gene to mahjong is like asking the sun to rise from the west!!!

So the 3 of us had mahjong, ro’s not bad, he’s a fast learner, and ccy too. Though ro being the banana that he is, well, most of us are banana… I call myself a banana too… half banana haha..

So, anyway back to ro, he can’t really read, though he can understand, so before that I had prepared for him jeng, jeng, jeng, wei sun’s special weapon, mahjong for dummies ultimate guide haha… bring in the drums for the drum role people muahhahah

Ok la exaggerating, all I did was type out all the Chinese characters involved in mahjong, and printed it out for him, though I forgot about the word “fei” haha so he had guidance to play with la. Played until about 1230am? Ro learns quite fast, when we ended the game he already could differentiate some of the Chinese characters :-) so cute la, when we see him staring at the paper and at his cards, we knew already, he was having all the “man zi” haha…

Then ccy needed to go home, and ro went to dota, aii this people all the time dota haha.. But what can I say, dota is kind of fun, to me, whatever computer game, as long as it is played with a friend or friends, it becomes a real fun experience, take UFO Gold as an example (played with michelle), and nanosaur (played with ccy ) and now dota (played with ccy, ro, nick leong, gene, his bro, dexter and his fren). Haha so that was about it :p

Oh haha, apparently scared ro, haha, I’m still female after all, so creepy crawlies are so… well.. creepy haha, I saw bug an over reacted haha, scared ro who thought what on earth happened haha, in the end he let go of the beetle ler…

oh and for those who deleted roscoe's pictures muahaha.. u shall hv to take pics w roscoe like ro (i shall post the pics of the both of them next time if i rmbr muahahha, both of them so cute.. hehe) then u cant delete muahahah..

ok la not tat evil.. but roscoe cute ma = = so evil u all say he's not cute, and eugene says he's a chihuahua, roscoe is a miniature pincsher, and ro, u traitor.. i tot u also dog lover will sokong me ahhaha jk la... Roscoe is the cutest!! muahahah

So that was the end of the day for me, haha after those two left I went online to check my mail and went to bed muahaha…

十一日ハ月：金よび – Friday, nothing much happened, wanted to play mahjong with ro and ccy again in the night, and well, ro wanted some files from me, and I wanted a lot of files from him haha, so that ro ar.. cis, say come at 11am to transfer files, mana tau, 1230pm also he belum bangun haha, well actually I also jut woke up at that time, so can’t marah ler, then well, the whole day wait for files = = waited until at night 10pm only he came and that one also have to keep calling pulak, cis…

Anyway he came at 10pm and we started file transfers this and that, and waited for ccy, who was supposed to come, but ccy FFK us, sob~ = = didn’t call and tell us he can’t make it, and he couldn’t be contacted = = but anyway I was kept busy transferring files, till bout 1230am, cause this ro had too many files liao…

I stole almost 2gb of songs from him muahaha, and well seeing my music taste, I had to slowly filter through his songs, and poor ro, with nothing to do, tertidur pula haha, like tat also can tertidur haha, must have been real tired haha, I didn't realise until I asked him, eh this song is what, and got no reply, then only realized haha.

So like that ler… thanks for the songs and the anime and the shows ro… if you have new episodes of akagi send to me when I’m in UK liao haha the download rate shouldn’t be too bad there :p

Then I can send you the black cat manga and whatever manga I get my hands on la, the latest bleach episodes also no problem muahaha… bartering anime muahahha… :p

I finished episodes 8-12 of akagi after going online muahaha.. yes, I’m gila mahjong, and gila anime… = =

十二日ハ月：土よ日 – don’t have much of an idea of what I did in the day time, I think I slept and read a bit in the day time, then at dinner time, my dad brought me out to SS2 KFC to eat.

Today 17th Petaling Boxing Kangaroo Troop had its campfire, a brilliant scheme we scouter council hatched. (Well can’t say I’m included, have been inactive in scouts for the whole of July and part of August, and from the looks of it, the whole of August = = )

The バカ　学園 (baka school) didn’t let us have a campfire, so we held an interschool camp, and had a small “campfire” in the night haha. Tuck Loong is damn brilliant for this, he must have sat on it for a while I suppose haha, but its just as well, if we do not have a campfire this year, the tradition of not having a campfire will carry on for years to come.

As a scout we can’t have that right? Haha… the scouting spirit must live on haha once a scout, always a scout. Whether you are active or not…. Well that’s another question la haha..

Anyway back to the campfire thing, actually I forgot that the campfire was on today, cause I was really depressed, to the extent that I cried at KFC, it’s really an Oh My God situation haha, but oh well, my mum and dad figured out that I was depressed the whole month already, and well, to the point that I cried? Haha, well my mum was like okay enough ler haha…

Ermm this is the 2nd time I’m saying that I forgot about the campfire, so yes, I forgot about it due to reason stated above… so how in the world did I remember? Haha on the way to KFC I saw a junior scouter, in scouter mufti and scout pants, and I was like oh ya. And at the same time I was like shit. Forgot to tell Ai kun whether I’m going or not. So I called meng for transport, and well, somehow, I felt like calling kean sheng also for back up transport muahaha, who goes earlier is who I will follow muahaha (I was already running late..)

Haha, long time never speak to him liao, he sounded really like happy that kind not like usual, where he sounds like he wants to die cause he’s bored to death or something haha, and we even joked. I think he usually sounded bored cause it must be due to the fact that last time when I called, it was usually to nag him to come for meetings haha.. Yes, I’m a nagger, you all should know by now haha, I like to nag you all to drink water, eat vitamins, get plenty of rest, don’t stay up so late, when I myself don’t do all those stuff muahaha… :p

Haha, so, for a campfire, the more the merrier, no? So I called, ro, who was at a dinner to celebrate his dad’s promotion (which actually he told me the night before when I asked for mahjong again haha, but my memory really cacat liao, I forgot), gene who was in Penang (which ro told me, but I forgot also, sigh my memory~~~ [sing along with the winter sonata song haha]), ccy who had other plans and Eugene who was just plain lazy, yes, I will say it again.. Eugene you lazy bugger haha… judging on all that, if you figured it out you are one of the smart people haha; not a single soul could make it, sigh = =

But I can’t blame all these people, I decided to go at the eleventh hour, so it’s not their fault. All of them gave me the same reply i.e. “why you so geng wan, now only ask me to go”, in which I replied, “cause I just decided to go”, and they had to say, “ya, I know”, I was so “…”

So yes, people, it was my fault, I admit, but this year’s campfire was not as fun as the last ones I used to bring you all too, so not much of a loss, for people like rowan and Eugene, whom has not gone for one, in these past 3 years that’s for sure haha, you guys missed nothing much la. Next time la, if ro is back during campfire time, and so am I, or if Eugene hasn’t gone to USA yet :p

Oh I was saying that I asked kean sheng to come to the campfire,(well the reason i called was for transport, which in the end i didn't take, because he had something else to do first before coming for the campfire... and he came so damn late, that it was good i didn't follow him...thank goodness for meng..) well he really did come, with girlfriend in tow, haha, so he likes younger girls, eh? Haha.. Oh well.. His personal preference, as I have said before we can’t help who we fall in love with.

So, how did I find the campfire this year? Well, it was ok only, seeing that I have been with the troop for 8 years? I have seen a much better campfire than this, but oh well, standard has dropped drastically, and with all the red tape we face, this is the best we can do.

At the campfire, I met a lot of my brother’s old friends and chatted with them, among them for my 兄ちゃん(nichan/older brother)’s information, I met, koon ming, yee young, meng wai, err, simon? And another guy I totally can’t remember his name = = so koon ming gave me his name card, and every single one of them well, ok la, koon ming, yee young and ming wai all complained that you never contact them haha, so either you are lazy, or they are bro…

Ermm then, as I wanted to stay back and talk to this people, I made meng go home late, sorry meng = = when I told them that I had to leave cause my friend who’s driving wanted to leave koon ming said that he would send me back. So sorry ler, don’t angry ya, and I still owe you five bucks haha..

So after that, went home, and well my mum was watching the live performance from dangau bay, johor, and well, I was not really interested so I went up to read, and went online to talk to my sister, ended up talking with my cousins too haha, so errm watched the last performance by 5566 so, so only la 5566 from watching the magicians of love I would say that 183 club is better? But the group of 5566 only 3 out of 5 of them turned up for the concert, so maybe they were not at their fullest potential.

十四日ハ月：月よ日　- went to the pasar malam at SS2 with ccy, huey and Eugene, wanted to meet up with meng, but he was with Joanna, and well, knowing him, we could have very well betted a million bucks that he won’t meet up with us wan la.

So, ermm, ccy didn't have his dinner yet at that time, so we went to McD’s and he got a burger and all, the worker there so blur man, he ordered the burger, but the order didn't go through. After that we walked around in the night market, and bought all sorts of funny things to eat. Ccy, bought popiah, and some super bitter drink, (which he said was delicious… so damn sweat.. hahaha, he tricked me into drinking it also, blek… so damn bitter…. = = ) and treated me to, sugar cane water while huey treated me to this some sort of Chinese kuih haha.

Huey and I were talking about fashion and clothing and all haha, and all sort of weird remarks about bust size, body size and all came out haha.. Much to our amusements, the guys were making funny faces (more like zah toh faces haha) so I had fun.

Ccy and I wanted to have mahjong after the pasar malam, but it all depended on ro, who was having dinner with… I don’t know? College friends? Don’t remember la haha, I think it was college friends, cause I called gene and ro to go pasar malam also.

Sadly for ccy and I, ro, couldn’t make it, so no mahjong, and then ar, my whole area had no electricity, wah celakaness man, so hot some more the weather, ccy still came over and we had candle light popiah haha, two baka people, no electricity still come and want to play, gila mahjong? Haha, or gila popiah? Haha.. I was holding his popiah so he had to come if he wanted to eat… keke

After a while, and I mean a while, it was a long while haha, the electricity came back and went out, and then came back again… so, since ro, couldn’t make it, ccy and I watched akagi until about 1am? Haha akagi is an anime about mahjong haha, so you can say we are all really gila mahjong here haha…

After that ccy left, then I went online to check my mail, my “buddy” from reading had replied my mail, but I don’t know what to reply, writing short mails are such a pain la, I’m too used to writing too much crap.. = =

十五日ハ月：火よ日　– what did I do today? Muahaha, I had mahjong again muahaha, ro and ccy were supposed to come at 3pm for mahjong, so I read in the morning till bout 3pm, knowing ro, I expected him to be tardy so I watched akagi episode 14 muahaha. Ccy on the other hand sms me at 3 telling me that he would be late, so I was like ok, then I shall watch akagi muahaha.. At 330pm ro called and said he was coming… from subang… he arrived in about 10minutes.. sweat.. dangerous driver la that one, if you are late never mind la, just tell me you are late, don’t speed, so dangerous… = =

so ccy was later than ro, so ro and I transfer files again haha, more like I steal some more files he open mahjong table keke, yes! It’s mahjong time again muahaha… taught those two how to count points on Thursday when we first started playing, and made them count for themselves this round.. They both picked it up fast, good students :-)

ccy came over with his external drive also, and we were like stealing files here and there haha, then played mahjong till bout 530pm making ro late to pick up his bro, timothy for yee’s tution… sorry ro, we too addicted laio, then I joke some more ask you to come back and play some more haha… sorry ya ro :p

Anyway I played mahjong till forgot to prepare dinner = = keke..

After ro left, ccy and I tried 2 people mahjong, goodness man, it’s so baka la haha.. But we tried 2 games and well, keep already la haha, 2 people like not that fun, guess we tired liao? Furthermore it was nearing dinnertime haha…

After that nothing ler… read and go online.. = =

十六日ハ月：水よ日　– woke up to my hand phone ringing, can’t remember the time, ai kun called, asking me to go out for lunch at the marco’s pizza at kelana jaya, so I said ok, then went back to sleep haha… was supposed to meet her, Melissa and jin fong there at about 11.45 /12pm but at 1145 ai kun was still at home, so I was lazy to go early, asked her to inform me when she was leaving, was playing the piano, the song? Laputa castle in the air: main theme, like that tune now, though it sounds sad, it’s suitable with my depressed mood = = but it’s a really beautiful melody :p

So was a bit late for lunch with the 3 girls, wah, first time in 2 weeks that I came in contact with girls? Hahah no la, Monday went out with huey haha.. So ok la haha..

Spending too much time lately with guys lately, and spend time until late at night, I wonder what my neighbour must be thinking, sure must be going, “wah, this cindy everyday also go out with a different guy, then got guy come so late and leave so late in the night” haha.. Really wonder what my neighbour is thinking haha… :p

Anyway, back to the main topic haha, so we ate and chatted, the food there is not bad I would say, but I prefer the pasta to the pizza better :p it’s kind of a pricey place too = =

After eating and chatting, jin fong went home and ai kun and Melissa came to my house to hang out, cause they had no transport home, so I taught them how to play mahjong, Melissa knows a little, but can’t read Chinese haha, ro is better than her :p

Oh ro’s mahjong Chinese word guide that I made, became useful for Melissa haha, but she still plays slower than ro :p but oh well, give her time la I suppose haha, she liked the game too, so if she plays more, she will get the hang of it :p

Ai kun at least knows Chinese, a bit blur la that girl, cause she never really watched people play before I think… but in the end she cottoned on, and we had an enjoyable game with me being a bit mean muahahah..

When was I ever nice, right? Haha, then after that we talked about going to reading and stuff, and what questions should we aske our “buddy”.

So bout 530pm they left, so that was all, till just now at bout 930pm where ro called so that I can say bye :-)

So, bye ro, and take care, will miss you, and our mahjong sessions haha.. [ok la stop mentioning about mahjong haha :p , ro must be shaking his head liao, thinking this girl addicted liao haha :p]

When I go to UK the time difference shouldn’t be that bad la haha, then can continue chatting la, for all you know can play dota online also muahaha, or maybe we ought to look for online mahjong games then 3 of us can play again, use skype to help us haha…
