The smooth surface, Almost mirror like, Watching it unknowingly, I entered its flow, Unconsciously submerged by it, Fighting to grasp the sky, Before being pulled down again, Following it’s flow, Unable to turn back, The road is set; I shall head to sea, Can you see the future? Ku:yashi

The title kuyashi, Can’t really remember what it means, I think it means sad, ( I think it means sad, in a sad kind of way.. get my drift? Haha) well either way, it fitted my feeling on Tuesday which was the 14th. Here is why.

On the 14th of March my law society went to the parliament. After last year’s trip I told myself that I would not go back to that place and sit through another parliament sitting. (I was at a Dewan Rakyat hearing) You can practically die there from boredom.

One of the reasons why it’s so boring is because you are not participating, and well, they are talking about the boring stuff like environmental issues and stuff. Heck even some of the MPs (member of parliament) were sleeping there.

It only gets interesting if they fight I suppose haha, last year they did, but unfortunately we were ushered out when they started the fight, cause they said that another group was coming in.

Anyway back to the main thing, we went there, and unlike last time where we sat through the hearing for only about half an hour, we were sitting there for an hour!! Walaueh, I was like asleep there liao. Cannot tahan, then after that I “went to the toilet” haha, well, Ai kun wore jeans to the parliament see, and they are very strict on their dress code, so she couldn’t go in, so I went to take a look at how she was doing, and well she was fuming so I really went to the loo after that.

After that, we had a tour of the parliament by Theresa Kok (DAP MP) and we got to sit in the Dewan Negara, which is the senate, in English I think. And we got to look around, so that part was cool, the place was really nice, imagine how much tax payer’s money they wasted there haha.

They had the portraits of the kings of old, which they changed every 5 years cause there was no space for so many of them, and the 5 portraits of the PMs, and the portraits of the Speakers. (They are kind of like a judge in a hearing but they sit in the parliament instead of the court)

After the tour, we sat in the senate (the chairs are so damn comfortable man) and Theresa Kok gave us a small talk on our political system, (she alos told us how the political system overseas was like-intersting you know, that part...)which I don’t have to mention here, cause although it’s true, ISA might still catch me or sue me for slander, though it’s true. Yes I purposely emphasised on the word true; anyway, it’s not anything we Malaysians don’t know, the unfairness of the system etc. It’s common knowledge to us, but it was interesting to see it from the opposition party’s point of view, and to learn that they actually bring up the more important issues, which I fear to mention.. ISA wa kowai.. -_-”

Ermm there are some pictures that Theresa Kok took for us, cause we were not allowed to bring any cameras in. which I shall load later, or I shall edit this post and add them in, it’s only four pictures so it should be no problem, she sent it to us already. Haha, so just wait for it la.

On another note, today (18th march 2006) we went to The Pure Life Society, it’s an orphanage in Puchong, but the children/kids there aren’t actual orphans, they actually have parents but because their parents are too poor, they are placed there. It was mostly Indians there, and we met only one Chinese boy aged 12 his name was Kam Kee, if his surname was Lee it would have been really funny haha. (If you don’t get the joke means you don’t cook Chinese cuisine, anyway feel free to ask la if you are curious)

It was okay I suppose the orphanage houses kids from the ages of I think 5 was the youngest one I saw, but apparently they keep them till they are 23. But I only saw the kids, the oldest one I saw was 14, so I have no idea where the rest went, maybe shy gua, we are about their age anyway..

Errmm for this trip, we collected stuff, cause well I suggested during the law society meeting (I am the treasurer or the COH member muahaha ) that we do it the Taman S.E.A. way where we collect stuff for them, you know old cloths, toys, books, foodstuff and all, wrap them nicely and send it to them.

My class as usual wasn’t very participative, but the September intakes for the first years were, they donated a lot of stuff I can tell you. There were boxes and boxes of stuff. And well it was kind of fun going through them, but then I had to go for a mooting session with Sandy when we were wrapping it up on Thursday.

So what did we do at the orphanage, well played some games with them, a game called traffic lights, where, the person in front counts to three and says a traffic light colour and turns everyone has to stop you know that game. And after that musical chairs as well. And the last one was lucky draw.

I was awkward with a lot of kids around, for those of you people, well you know I don’t like kids so that’s it haha, but well I discovered that I don’t like spoilt brats actually, not kids in general. I am just not used to kids.

Cause when I was young there were no babies around until I turned like what 10? And before that time I had never touched a baby at all, seen from far yes, but never touched. So I am not used to kids, those younger than me by maybe 4 years I can still handle I suppose, but not kids la…. teenagers, ok la since I am a scouter and I deal with them quite often.

But anyway it was ok. This jiun yu ar.. errr.. No comment la.. (You never know who reads this hahha) but anyway, that fella dress like he’s going to pasar malam only, apa la… Mr Joseph sent Mel, Ai kun and I home, and on the way we had a sudden craving for cake so we asked sir to drop us off at La Manila and we sat there had a slice of cake each and chatted then walked back to my house in a slight drizzle of rain.

Oh and at the time we were walking to my house, Mel, Ai kun and I were suddenly saying that Jun (don’t know how to spell his name, and this is only his middle name, full name I know but keke himitsu desu muahahha) was quite short, and then suddenly Mel and Ai kun were saying that he was kind of cute.

I was like “ya meh” cause if you guys know me, I am a bit like Son Goku in Dragonball, (in the sense that I can’t really tell the obvious kind of difference kind of thing, I can definitely differentiate normal guys and girls from each other.) I don’t really know how to differentiate the good-looking people with the ok looking ones. :p anyway, but just to join in, I said that he had cute dimples haha, I really didn’t know what else to say.. Haha

Anyway we were all saying that he was short, and those two were saying that it was such a waste, haha then Ai kun said “wah, just because short eliminated liao” haha. Well if that is true then cham lor all the short guys. Don’t need to find girlfriends liao haha, but I guess it depends on preference la, Mel just doesn’t like short guys anyway. Me ar? Ok lor, prefer either same height or taller better though. If short, then not to short la, I think the guy would also feel inferior haha..

Oh yes, for the past two weeks my wisdom tooth had been killing me. (If you recall I complained a few times in the previous posts, i finally went to the dentist on friday, walk in, waitied for 3 hours to see the dentist...) why ar? Well let’s see, cause the tooth is coming out senget, so it’s stuck and then my gum cracked to let it out see, and then the gum/wound got infected, resulting in my on and off slight fever which developed into a fever, the whole past two weeks, and when I complain to my mum, she was like nothing wan la, a bit of pain I cry wolf liao. Ceh.. Hey it’s serious you know, I have to go for surgery to remove the tooth and I am currently on antibiotics, and paracetomal (or known as Panadol to some of you)

But the surgery is later la, just thinking of it makes me want to cry, Sob~ I very the scared la, especially of the injection, sob sob.. But what to do..? Sigh.. Anyway I have to wait for the antibiotics to run its course, wait for the inflammation to go down, go for an X-ray and then the surgery.. sob sob kowai ne….

But anyway, another anyway haha, as I said, I overuse the word haha, so anyway, that’s all for now. Am quite tired, just want to check my mail then hit the sack, as tomorrow morning I might be going out with my parents. Matta ne, oyasuminasai
