with chinese new year around the corner, we are all busy (well my parents at least haha..) with spring cleaning, and guess what my mom found? my form 1 (this was when we were 13 years old), penulisan book.. i was quite surprised that thing has still been sitting around after almost 10 years...

wanting to get rid of the trash, i went through the book before throwing it out, and came across a short essay which i had written at that time...

and yup, if you managed to guess it, congratulations, you are one smart person haha.

the title was Cita-cita saya, translated to english it means my ambition.. can anyone take a guess what was my ambition when i was 13 years old?

you guessed right, it was to be a lawyer. it was really weird reading that, and realising that i already have my degree and all.. one of the reasons i wrote that i wanted to study law was well, to help innocent people, or to become a family lawyer, but my first reason was, because i don't have to study too much, cause law is only a 3 year course haha..(but actually law is studying for life, cause legislations and the law keeps evolving...)

well, my thoughts on law has changed.. (i m not gonna defend the innocent, cause i don't know if they really are innocent, and well, child welfare is depressing...) now that i am 21, my views have changed and i'm no longer the naive little girl... but what can i say, it is almost surreal, that what i wrote became a reality. but heck, i had been playing with the thought even when i was in form 5.

i really have not much of an idea why i chose law, but...well let's see where i go from there... :p

oh and i am not reproducing that essay here for one reason, and one reason only, and that is, it's because i don't want to exhibit my atrocious malay essay to everyone in the world... haha
