title reads as BAKA, MAKUSHISU WA BAKA!! well erm,mmm literal translation is.. idiot... maxis is an idiot...

for the non malaysians who .....well i don't know if you guys still read my blog haha.. but anywya FYI maxis is a handphone company in malaysia like O2, T- mobile, vodafone etc...

so ya and they are being idiots now.. and i oh so wanna bitch bout it.. hence this post... well i m gonna bitch about a movie(s) when i m done bitching bout maxis.....

well... maxis..... they not so recently had this broadband service... wireless they call it... gives u a modem that accepts signals from their satelite and lets you go online and surf etc...

so since my dad promised me broadband when i got home... he did keep his word and viola.. i had my broadband 2 weeks plus upon my arrival back in malaysia... so yes the reason for my disappearance is explained.....

no broadband equals dail up, which equals to super slow connection, which equals to cindy getting hypertension, cause cindy is an impatient person... although she tries her best to be patient, it still gives her hypertension when the page takes so bloody long to load, or doesn;t load at all...(well it rarely doesn't load at all, unless the dail up really can't take the web page's..... technical word......... errr size????but cases of it not loading was like one in a hundred).

so it was still tolerable... cindy could go do a crapper come back and the page might be 90% done.. it was fine.. at least her msn was still connected even though it took 20 minutes... and well she could chat while waiting for the page to finish loading.... go brush her teeth... get a cup of water.. what ever... it was slow... but her hypertension wasn't that bad... till maxis comes a long....

(note: i don't actually suffer from hypertension.. it's just my way of saying that my blood pressure is so high, i could get a heart attack & that my blood is boiling, cause i m so bloody pissed.... )

simplest solution.. don't go online that often... so i was hardly online, and was really happy when after waiting for so, so, sooo, soooooo long, was even on the verge of calling up maxis to scold them asking when is my broadband comming... it came, and oooo it was faster than dail up definetly.... :)

i entered my gmail quite quick, facebook, yada yada.. msn... the moment i m online my msn is conencted... oh it was ncie.. so decided to try downloading, tried it from anime eden, downloaded an anime which i m currently watching called kaze no stigma... it took a whole night....in fact half a day,, but at least it was done.. i could watch it.. so i thought.. well i could live with this i guess.. all i have to do is leave it on at night while i sleep and let it download... that could work, well unlike the UK, i can't download a few at a time, only one at a time.. but i m fine with it, as long as i could download...

so happy was i, that it was like the sky had fallen down, like the earth had crumbled to peices... like, volcanoes all over the world had erupted spontanouesly... like.... well you get my drift....

when not even 3 days after acquiring my broadband, my msn could not connect online, if it did, it was disconnected after a minute, i resorted to meebo the online messenger, it lasted longer, maybe 5 - 10 minutes and still got disconnected...

gmail... was super hard to enter, refreshing teh page at least 4 times to enter was becoming a norm...

maxis claims it isn't their fault, so explain yahoo to me will you??? what about livejournal? it takes so freaking long to load, that to even load the page to delete the 300 odd messages that i had acquired while being stuck on dail up, is impossible....

downloads are at a stand still.. i had to try at least 3 times to download one volume of manga... even a chapter of manga cannot be done...!!!

so what more anime.. i tried for 2 days to download my next episode of kaze no stigma.... it dies after at the most 13% downloaded.. i use direct download cause i don't bit torrent... i tried to download that same episode at least 5 times already.. so yes i m pissed...

complained to my dad, who recommended upgrading the maxis as well... so i told him, and he agrees to do it after i get back from australia... FYI maxis has 2 packages, one is where the connection runs on 354kb, i think.... the other is 700 something kb... they recommended us teh lower one first to see how it works, if we don't like it we could pay more and upgrade it...

so we will see how it goes then... as far as i m concerned,,... it is not the fault of my computer cause the memory or what ever is sufficient, i mean i hv 1gb RAM.... even if i change my desktop picture everyday and activate the screen saver, it should not be a big deal.......

and i always hv at least 15gb of space on my computer.. heck in the uk even when i only had 3gb of space on my com, it was still fine!!!! a few things slowed down but it was still fine...

i mean.. hello, even on dail up.. even tho it took ages to enter msn, gmail and yahoo mail.. at least in the end i got in.. and i stayed in.......unless i got disconnected....(which was not as often as this actualy, i seem to be getting disconnected every minute) compared to this... msn cant even connect..... arghhhhhhhhh

so if you guys have yahoo messenger or google talk.. please look for me there... email me for my id for both messengers... the only reason i could stand my dail up all these years was cause while waiitng for my page to load i could at least still chat to friends... now i have reallly nothing to do, while i wait...i mean... it was fine for the first 2 days when i used it.. WTF is it doing now??????

that day saw me heading to the curve (kind of like a shopping complex in malaysia,with a lot of restaurants to eat and a cinema in there...) with eeva to catch a movie...

we arrived at the curve and met up with des, suki, david alex "junior", alex, alvin, katherine.... ermmmm can't remember, i think that was all of us... they are all my juniors from the university of reading, twining with taylor's... so well thought that since eeva asked me a long for the movie, might as well go along cause i don't know when i will be seeing them next. and i do get along with them reasonably well, so why not hang out with them :)

so met up at cine leisure ?? it's called that right?? anywya.. ermm apparently des suggested to watch the movie black sheep but there was none showing at 9 something, the next one was at 1150pm and we've already missed the 7 something one, so we decided to watch something else, and after that if we felt like it, we could watch black sheep..

so looking at the movies showing... non appealed.. then someone suggested secret... well i heard from my friend wendy that it wasn't bad... and well yee sin's friend kok hong, was wacthing it when i was in leeds, and he said it wasn't bad...

well the fact that jay chou was inside.. turned a lot of us off, but some people praised it.. so we gave it a try....

my rating... jay chou still cannot act, he is a peice of stone as usual.... but the story was.... ok i would say... alot of lacunas... i mean grey areas...... well...unexplained areas.... yes that's the word... there were quite some unexplained areas which alvin explained later.. it was ok, and wow the piano battle was chun!! i mean i will give credit to jay chou to say that he has skill with the piano.. that's all i will say.. it was really nice the music, but as alvin said nodame cantabile had better music.. but that was an ochestra.. i would say... the music for this one wasn't bad...

oh by the way.. we went to dragon-i at the curve to eat, and well the juniors actually had some meeting going on, bout using their law debate fund for a dinner.... so des and i were just specatators who were eating haha...

but anywya some of them left and it was only 6 people for the movie... me, eeva, des, suki, alvin, david and alex "junior" .... well err eeva taught me that haha.. cause there are 2 alexes in their batch and since "junior" was from the january batch and not theirs.. (like david) so i didn't know them either, until yesterday.. but they were nice people :)

so anywya was saying we discussed secret for a bit.. and well.. decided to watch black sheep then... cause apparently it has a 4 star rating....

alvin wasn't free and david ahd to leave.. so that left, des, me, eeva, suki and alex..... to wactch.. the lamest show in my life....

i thought this story about this werewolve eating a whole platoon of soldiers lame... this was lamer... killer sheep... WTF

OMG man... i wasted 1 and a half hours of my life on a stupid show, where sheep fart, CH4 (methane, well they do, cow's as well.. they are one of the biggest contributers to green house gases... bla bla.. kyoto protocol... bla bla... you know the gist... and no i didn't learn this from the movie, i learnt this in pre U ie SAM but they did mention it in the movie) and you set them on fire.... getting bitten from a sheep turns you into one.. and i think the guy buggered the ewe..... =='

so ya.... OMG, all of us came out saying how lame it was.... that was so not worth 9 bucks man... god... i don't want to think bout it.. so bloody lame... arghhh..... lame lame lame... don't wathc it!!!!

oh and i noticed.. maybe cause we wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, but i didn't see a sign saying, no animals were harmed in the production of this movie...

hahhaha.. and well...lame ass movie... don't watch even if your life is on teh line.. i don't understand how could suki stand watching it a second time.. even if she was forced by des.. if the movie was that lame.. for the life of me, i wouldn't watch it for a second time unless i got something out of it.... ==' but des does have his way haha.. i did mention that in crotia he managed to get a hell of a bargain off a pair of earrings for his sis, and which i bought as well :p

so anyway.. actually on 九日九月二００七年：日曜日 after class i went to mel's house to do a facial, cause my pimples were getting way out of hand.. they sprouted in abundance during exam period and refused to subside... causing me to run around the whole of europe and london with it, and well upon return to malaysia it got lsightly better but was still there and painful..

sunday was my first facial.. and gosh.. are facial's painful, when it came to removing teh white heads..... other than that it isn't bad... quite relaxing :) ......but i will see how my skin goes.. i might go for a second facial to hopefully clear up everything else on my face... when i've braced myself for teh pain... but i guess one can get used to the pain? just like epilating and plucking eyebrows??? intially it hurts till you 're tearing, but after that you get used to it... though it still hurts, but not that bad i guess... i do tear from time to time when plucking my eyebrows... hahha explains why i don't look after my brows??? :p

well as in teh condition 2 years ago with my braces.. no pain, no gain.. sigh, the price we girls pay to look pretty... ==' you guys better appreciate what women are doing....

but anyway.. my skin's condition... i must truthfully say seems a little better... :) thanks mel, and mel's mum :)

so ermm.. that's about it, have to start packing for my trip to australia, and well xian ai invited me for a free hip hop dance class later in the evening.. in ss2 (an area... well it's like wokinghom road, where you have houses on one side and shops... except we have more shops and some of teh shops are like shop houses with 2 floors.. etc... and it's way bigger than wokinghom road.. imagine at least 3 :p)

so we will see how it goes... huey is back from thailand.. but i don't have time to meet her till i get back... so ermm... that's all for now.. take care everyone... :) and well please don't expect souveniers????? hahha there is nothing to buy in australia but those stupid australian koala keychains which are made in china.. hahah.... :p and well.. need to save money la... =='
