彼の誕生日。。。

Title reads as tanoshimidatta. I meant it to mean that I had fun... (yet again am unsure of my grammar…) I haven’t had time lately to brush up on my Japanese, as I’m more often than not, not at home… either I have class, or I’m out with friends or with my cousins. And well am currently busy, as I’ve picked up the guitar. Satoshi kun is teaching me the guitar and I in return am teaching him the piano. Though I must say that I am not really a good teacher, having not done any theory for 2 years, and well trying to improve on my practical skills on myself. But I am trying to learn the song タイヨウのうた (taiyou no uta - song to the sun), which was played on the guitar in the drama, really not a bad song. Well on Sunday, after class satoshi kun came over to teach me the guitar. On Monday I went out with ray for dinner, he brought me to his best friend’s Thai restaurant, called My elephant. Which is in SS17/13. Not a bad place. Prices are reasonable, and well I think they have 20% discount off for students. The food isn’t bad either. So if any of you are up for Thai food, give me a holler I will introduce that place…

Anyway, back to the main topic. I was saying that I m happy ;p well it’s 12.42am on the 3rd of October 2007. Haha I have been out the whole of yesterday. And actually I just came back home not long. Had my shower and while waiting for my hair to dry am currently blogging about my day before the memory fades… (I feel so old…)

So what did I do yesterday that I had fun? Well my day on Tuesday started with me waking up at about 8 am and getting ready to go a hot spring in Sungkai. It is about an hour’s drive from KL, on the way to Ipoh. Not a bad place. I went with my two cousins ben and yen ling, we grew up together and well we had our fair share of fun during those times, and well before I left for the UK I was growing a bit detached from them, but now we are close as we used to be. So anyway my cousins suggested going to the hot spring and out of curiosity I decided to go along.

So at about 9 am they piced me up and we went to Damansara Mutiara, near the curve for breakfast at a place called Old Town Kopithiam. I finally had some nasi lemak worthy for my taste buds, but unfortunately my stomach which has been chilli deprived for a year in the UK didn’t really agree = =’ just like after having the Thai food on Monday. I’ve to retrain my stomach for spicy food :)

Well after breakfast we headed to the hot springs, and went in for a dip. It’s not a bad place. It was quite a nice place, but not a place to go soaking in out hot weather, with the sun shining so brightly in the sky. I think if we could have gone for a dip in there in the evening then it would have been better. But it was so bloody hot, though the water felt really nice and my back pain seemed to have momentarily disappeared, but the heat sucked up all my energy and made me feel dizzy and all. Luckily I didn’t faint in there.. but ling was acting like a drunk person hahaha…

Well it was nice, and I wouldn’t mind going there again, but I think a night or evening dip would have been much better.

After the hot springs since we were quiet near Ipoh, we decided to go there for some Ipoh Hor Fun. Met ben’s cousin from his dad side, and well had the chicken and bean sprouts as well. (ngar choi kai ;p) well it was really nice, and worth the trip I would say. After lunch we headed back home, and well since ling wanted to do facial as her skin has been acting up lately. Off to mel’s house we went, took us almost 2 hours to get there, maybe more. Had our facials, and after a pit stop at my house, the three of us headed to One Utama, for dinner (ate A&W there, it sucks!! I usually go to the one near the Asia Jaya/Amcorp Mall…) and we watched a movie.

During the spare time before the movie started we helped ling shop around for a bracelet for her friend’s birthday. But we weren’t of much help to her, so we then headed off for our movie: I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry. Rated 18PL, for language I guess.

Haha not a bad movie was laughing my head off during the whole movie, really funny, and amusing as well as touching, and well since I have a gay friend I could kind of connect (I could never connect fully being a heterosexual, but I guess it’s close enough ;p) but anyway, I would recommend that movie, it isn’t bad. After that movie I realise I have been watching a lot of movies lately = =’ what with friends all leaving overseas, and all, and it seems to be the thing for us to hang out by watching movies haha.. but am not really complaining, besides the huge hole it is burning in my pocket. Besides black sheep the movies were all not bad :p

Anyway, after the movie ended at 11.30, ben dropped me home, and here I am now.. since my hair is finally dry now, am going to hit the sack. Thanks ben and ling, it was a fun day, and I will take up the offer for the three of us nutters to take a road trip together someday haha :p
