Eyes

Your eyes always expresses to me,

What a thousand words cannot.

On the way home form Osaka  today, I was thinking what memory I should share today, then I remembred, that since we were talking about your teeth, then maybe we could share some stories of the time when you were teething.

All babies go through that teething phase, and you were not immune to it either. And while I made sure that you had plenty of things like, bones and toys to sink your teeth into, somehow you decided to try gnawing on funiture. 

You chewed away at the foot of the cabinet where the TV and the souvenirs were, and we only discovered that later, luckily not much damage was done. 

I think the funniest furniture damage is probably where it was before we changed the funiture. We had furniture made of rattan, and I was lying on it watching television, when I felt a slight vibration and heard a gnawing sound, only to look down to see you happily gnawing away at the furniture. 

Another time, you gnawed on the store room's door when we left you behind there when we went out. 

We were so worried that everytime you gnawed on all these wooden stuff that you would get splinters in your mouth, luckily that never happened. But safe for the cabinet all other evidence of your gnawing is gone after we renovated the kitchen and had the furniture changed.

Hi Baby,

Today I went out with friends and had Hawaiin food for lunch. Had tea with them and a nice chat. After that I met up with Mayu for dinner. Since I'm going to Kyoto tomorrow to view the autummn leaves with some new found friends, Mayu suggested that I stay over since Osaka is nearer to Kyoto than Kobe. 

Unfortunately Mayu has a lot of cats, and I'm not ready to face pets or animals generally. But I decided to give it a try. 

Out of all her cats she had one by the name of Ebi chan, which means prawn in Japanese by the way, which I love to play with whenever I come over, and the last time I stayed over I actually slept with Ebi chan. 

He's a polite little gentleman, who asked for permission before burrowing under my blankets. lol

Anyway when Ebi chan saw me, he came over to greet me, and let me pet him, I wonder if he knew I was sad, but when I looked at his eyes, it reminded me so much of you, at how you are able to understand us and all. 

At how you were able to commnunicate with me without human words. 

And I started crying, in the end I had to decline Mayu's kind offer, and the result is, I need to sleep early tonight to wake up early tomorrow to head to Kyoto lol.
