Change

The sights may have changed,

The air may have changed,

The people around me may have changed,

But it doesn't change my reality.

Your breed is known to be a curious breed, always wanting to know things, hence your chinese name too. You always wanted to see things all the time, which made things quite comical sometimes.

Before we had the current gate, you would have to find ways to be able to look outside, peeping through whatever gaps you could find. I managed to catch you one such time, and it was so adorably funny.

Here we have you peeking through the gate to see what's outside, you always used to love to bark at passing motorcycles as if you had some personal vendetta against them. 

And because the motorcyclists couldn't see you, sometimes we could catch a look of bewilderment on their faces and that was hilarious.

As you grew older, I guess you didn't find chasing motorcycles at our gate that interesting anymore, or maybe because we became a gated community, there weren't that many motorcycles that passed by, and with the renovated driveway, it was too hot for you to stay out for long and you would always want to come in after a while being outside.

Or I guess as you get older, you just lost the hang for those kind of things, since those are things that probably the "young kids" would do. lol.

Hi Baby,

Since my team lost the moot competition we were free today, and I went with the students to take pictures of the Sydney Opera House and the bridge, after that we went to the University of Sydney to see the famous jacaranda tree. It's like an equivalent to Japan's Sakura, just that the flowers are purple. it was really quite pretty, and it felt good to be there, since it reminded me of England. 

Some people brought their dogs there, and I thought I would be ok, but I nearly cried, so I averted my eyes and instead looked at the 3 wedding shoots that was happening in that same location. It was crazy. we saw at least 4 brides today.

on the way back to the city centre though from the bridge and opera house, while waiting for the train, I was staring off at the Sydney Opera House and I thinking of you. Part of you is on a journey to the USA now. Have a good flight with sis.
