Finally after like... How many months? I had a long awaited dinner with my "big bro" Raymond... well, when I first came back from London, he merely dropped by to pick up a souvenir I had bought for him in London, and we went for Thai Food at his best friend's place....
That was months ago... and now, finally after goodness knows how many months, we finally had another dinner date... Well for one, he was busy with his girlfriend and work... so yeah.. I'm secondary.... It's always like that with everyone, the only way for me to be a primary issue, was if I were to get myself a boyfriend... Which to me, is nothing but trouble.... but oh well, i digress, when the time comes, then I'll know if it's trouble or not haha... it could be an enjoyable trouble haha... Okay, back to the topic at hand...
Usually we would eat in the Curve, which he claims is his territory, but I guess today he really couldn't decide what to eat, and well, rushing for time, etc.. i don't know the reason... So we headed to BU, and had Japanese at the restaurant where I was first introduced to him by my sister haha... ah the nostalgia... anyway, as with all our dinners we had a spanking good time, chatting away.. and he showed me pictures of his recent trip to.... JAPAN with his girlfriend's family...
Oooooh, It's so beautiful... Osaka, Kyoto and well, Tokyo.... he even went to mount Fuji.. .ahh.. i'm so envious... Osaka and Kyoto was so beautiful.. but from the looks of his tour, they brought him to places like universal studio and all.. i would rather go see the castles, and other local landmarks then spend a day at universal studio.....
but they did have an Onsen stop in his itinerary... As usual as expected of girls... they were too shy to get in haha.. Malaysian girls.. I hope that if i ever do get the chance to do so, i wouldn't be shy, and will go into the hot springs :p
oh and he went in spring, when the Sakuras are in season.. so beautiful....
And well, being such a nice friend he was, he got me a souvenir from Japan, he was asking me before he left, what i would like, well i jokingly said a kimono haha, but those are very, VERY pricey, so i said just get me anything if you like.. i don't expect anything... it's the thought that counts you know :) so he being such a dear, got me a very beautiful item :)
also since he was sent to Korea, Seoul last week for work purposes, he got me a souvenir as well...
So let's see what he got me... :)
And from Japan, which he said, in place of a Kimono, which was too pricey he got me this instead...
Thank you Raymond!! i love them all :p and thanks for dinner again... when I start working, he will be one of the first, besides my parents that is, that is going to have dinner on me!! :)
