the long awaited post... on the 19th of APril 2006 i finally had my moot court, for those who do not know what a moot court is, a moot court, is just like a normal court, except that it is a fake court, which mostly deals with appeal cases... anyway... i was covering vicarious liablity...a topic which i didn't like when i was doing tort in my first year... hahha, the irony.... the subject that i didn;t lke became the moot topic, and well, now i can say that i am quite versed in vicarious liablity hahah, so if you commit a negligence in the course of your employment, i guess i can help you out a bit hahahha...

okay, before the day i had to endure at least 3 months of torture, from sandy, before THE day... anyway, i am very lazy to type and i am sure wat you all want are pictures... so as they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.. enjoy :)

this are counsels for the appellents, (ie my opponents) in case you cant see the names, the one with the glasses is the senior counsel for the appellant, michelle lim (yes another michelle hahah) and the one beside here is the junior counsel for the appellant, ashley aka ai koon






those are the judges behind, they are actually lawyers from the firm called Zul Rafique, the girl on the left is CAryn, she is the court clerk, while the girl on the right is Nu'ri, and she is the time keeper..







this here are the counsels for the respondent, on the left you have me, i am the junior counsel for teh respondent, and on my right you have melissa, who is my senior counsel for teh respondent... the table is messy ... i know... waht do u expect, last minute prepration hahaha, and i guess that's how a lawyer's table is hahah..

i think i looked kind of bored when i was submitting, cause well truthfully i was, i had gone through this so many times, it was like mechanical....boring man... arghhhh


after the moot all of us lined up for a group photo...

and that's all for this post, why? cos i am so annoyed with blogspot, its so damn bloody hard to move the picures around, jackass of a blogpost, or my computer.... anywya i didn't have much pictures anywya, i still have a few pictures, but those are nothing, pictures of the throphies don't really appeal to me.. but oh waht the heck, take a look for yourselves

the bigger throphies are for the winners, the smaller ones is the consolation..the boxes behind were tokens of appreciation by Taylor's to th e judges.

oh i forgot to mention who won..? hahha well, the respondents of course, heheh ie, my team, hahha, well nothing to be really proud off, the case was in our hands from the begining... keke, and well, all four counsels did work hard throughout few months before the moot court.. so that's all la for now.

i shall post the other stuff up later when i have the mood, and time.. and well a good internet connectin... :p
