Title: Banzai/ Hurray

The dreaded exams are over!!!
please note that the post, Exam Timetable has been edited with a few new comments, if you are interested..

If there is really no quota as some people claim, then I think my likelihood of passing is okay... Am not sure of civil, But I think, I'll pass that one... well.. I think I should pass all of them.. provided there is no quota...

So Okay exams are over, and instead of catching up on my sleep, I ended up on the phone for almost an hour with Eugene.. and on the long awaited guitar... (well I wanted to play the violin too, but it's impossible to talk on the phone with the violin's squeaky sound?) Thanks to the Chinese Tea at lunch.. sigh.. but yeah.. it was nice talking to Eugene, as I quote Eugene "you are entertaining yourself" so yeah.. talking nonsense.. I was crying tears of mirth at his exasperation... haha what with hair and fur, and ice and water.. [haven't had quite a nonsensical conversation, nor such laughter for quite a while...]

I admit, essentially, the chemical make up is the same, like the structure of the hair/fur, but humans have hair, and animals fur.. that's the way things are haha... my stubbornness, got him exasperated and I broke out in uncontrolled laughter.. :p it's just like, ice is solid, and water is liquid... haha.. they are different! :p

On another note, now that it is summer break, I've noticed a ton of Shounen Ai/ Yaoi Mangas (Boy Love/ Gay Comics) on Livejournal....

Ermm... I don't mind them, besides the fact that it's spamming up my inbox... But isn't that sexist? is there no equality for lesbians? of at least 300 posts of Yaoi Mangas, so far only 2 have been Yuri/shoujo ai (Lesbian/girl love) that's kind of sad.... questions to friends, tells me that girls prefer boy love... (so that means most of the community there are girls? where are the boys??)

Hmm, personally I prefer heterosexual comics, Maybe cause I'm straight and a hopeless romantic at that.. (hence I prefer shoujo, romance mangas..) but I'm okay with boy love, [they are quite interesting, and the guys are quite Hawt... :p though some of them makes you feel like, he might as well be a girl, and the whole manga might as well, be a male-female manga =.=']

I've never looked at any girl love comics.. so maybe I should give it a try? and see why do people like Shounen Ai, more than shoujo ai... ? well after I get my sleep that is haha...

Well, that aside.. we will see what all that prejudice is about, when and if I ever get down to peeking at some girl love manga..

*also, I've gotten myself a new guitar teacher? Eugene has kindly offered to teach me guitar chords and plucking.. since he teaches his church members... hopefully he is as patient a teacher as ccy :p haha.. I'm one hell of a stubborn student, and I'm sure ccy can attest to that hehe..

The next post will be some lame-o poem that I wrote when I couldn't sleep, during the exam period.. Muses just love to come at times like that.. But unlike the usual muse, it wouldn't leave me alone till I did something about it, so I ended up in front of my computer on 17 July at about 2am, writing a freaking poem... Sigh.. the things exams, and procrastination do to muses.. Brings the inner demons out of you...

after that, a few days later, I was struck with a muse to write another poem, but as time was really, and I mean REALLY of the essence then, I managed to shelve that muse.. So now that poem is left hanging =='

I don't know why, and don't ask me.. Whenever I write poems, more often than not, I end up making them sort of rhyme.. (it isn't on purpose..) till I discover it like 2 paragraphs or so later...

a bit of knowledge in literature will help you in the poem which I shall post in the next post..

Ermm, because there are some.. metaphors? well, if you are interested in the poem, and don't understand it, I don't mind explaining it... though I doubt anyone would ask.. because.. well, it's quite simple on it's own.. And its kind of lame, so I don't think anyone would be that interested haha.. Also, some people might get what that poem is all about? or maybe not.. haha...
