after Amsterdam and Switzerland, the next stop for xian ai, mel and i was to Berlin to meet up with antje, deepika and dave...
thus our Germany in Germany begins.. Guten Tag!!

antje as our tour guide brought us around to take a look, she studies in potsdam which is on teh outskirts of Berlin and there is a palace there called the new palace, it was really nice.. and interesting, i haven't seen anything like it before in the whole of Europe that i ve been....

another landmark, it's like a museum, thing, we went on a boat tour on the river at 12pm.. insane got sun bunrt like mad.. arghh but it was nice, saw the buildings around and all, but the commentaries were crap, cause they were using students and we didn't understand what they were saying. aii no matter not like we will remember... and there is always wikipedia ahha

this is like a maze, built in memory of people who died during the fall of the Berlin wall if i recall correctly... You have to be quiet as you walk through it... and no running, there are a set of rules for you to follow...

after walking around Berlin it was off to antje's home to meet her parents, and for a German home stay.. it was really wonderful, her parents are such nice folks, and they even "adopted" us haha, and they had a barbecue for us.. feast your eyes on the food hehe it was really nice.. :p yummy, thanks frank and connie (?? did i get teh spelling right? wait did i get the names right?? someone please confirm and correct me.. thanks) and thanks antje!!

at the Berlin zoo to see the first polar bear born in captivity.. but as it's name suggest.. we saw knuts.... so many people can hardly see a thing....


a church destroyed during the war, but left standing... well there are other pictures like the breakfast room etc.. and the cinema and all but too many to post and malas nak sort through....

also at the breakfast room i had a feeling of deja vu.. like i ve seen it before... but it is weird i haven't been there before and i asked my mum, neither has she been there before.. so why did it feel like a deja vu... hmmm.. premonition?? hahhaha.. too much ghost hunt for me kekeke :p
